“I dare you say you don’t deserve her.” His words echoed around my head as I paced around my room, kicking furniture and hitting my foot on a chair.
“What the f**k!” I growled, the whole surface shaking. “How dare he! How dare he ask me about my mate in that manner?”
“Klaus, you need to calm down,” Aiden said, still tapping his fingers on the marble table.
I glared at him. “Don’t tell me that nonsense! How can a mere guard look me in the eye and tell me I don’t deserve my mate, and the whole world wants me to calm down? That is impossible!” I paced around the room and stopped in front of him. “Something is going on between them….”
