Katherine POV
There are a lot of things that I would consider strange. Like my mum telling me she loves me, Klaus being by my bedside, kissing my forehead when I opened my eyes.
That is the weirdest kind of thing ever.
“You are awake,” he whispers to me, a smile on his face as he caresses my thumb.
I tried to sit up, but pain erupted around my whole body.
“Hey,” he whispered softly as his blue crimson eyes found mine. “You are hurt, okay? You can't move for now, but if you want anything, I mean anything, I can get it for you.”
I etched my eyebrows, watching him act all unklaus. I glared at him as memories of our last conversation flooded through my head.
Was this an avenue for him to act like he was a savior? Or was he trying to ease someone?
