Unknown POV

I am pulling up in the driveway of Red Moon's pack house, and I see the Alpha and Luna of Silver Moon, their daughters and the future Alpha of Silver Moon. The future Alpha, Julius is holding the hand of Aubrey. I feel my wolf getting agitated. I think he is being a little too friendly, so does my wolf. I stop a little ways away from them so I can watch what is going on. I need to know if something is amiss. My wolf is growling in my head, I know how he feels. I glance over at the three daughters of Alpha Roman, they are easy on the eyes, but I don't know much about them. I guess I could make due with one of them, I don't know yet. I will see tonight, I will talk to each one of them and see if they spark for me or not.

The interaction between Julius and Aubrey is going on entirely too long. Aubrey's dad seems pleased by this turn of events. I find it irritating. They should be split apart. My wolf starting to get enraged, and when he gets like that he is he is hard to keep in control, and right now he wants to rip Julius' head off. I have to try and calm him down or that will happen, or at least he will try. I don't know how powerful Julius' wolf is. I will just have to watch him, he may show his weakness. When he does my wolf will not hesitate, he will use that to his advantage. My wolf, Ranger is very good at things like that.

Ranger does not like it when others challenge us or tries to take what is ours. He is very protective over things and people we value. He will fight to the death for them. We have done it only once before and we almost lost, but our opponent showed his weakness, completely by accident, but it happened none the less. Ranger took full advantage of that and we won. The majority of wolves don't show up until we turn seventeen or eighteen. Ranger showed up when I was fifteen. He said the Moon Goddess said he needed to come early because I was going to need him soon. She was right. If I did not have him when that fight happened I would be dead for sure. That also means the Moon Goddess knew what was going to happen to cause that fight, and she just let it happen.

Ranger and I have made an agreement. We don't like the Moon Goddess because of that, so we have agreed that we don't want the mate the Moon Goddess gives us. We will reject her, even though it will hurt for a bit, and she will hopefully get a second chance mate or choose one. We want to choose our mate, and Ranger and I have made our choice. The only problem with that is that she has yet to accept us. Hopefully tonight Ranger and I will be able to change her mind. We really hope that she will accept us. We would be the happiest man and wolf on Earth.

Our chosen mate is the most beautiful woman I have ever seen. She is perfect for us. Ranger is anxious to see what her wolf will look like. We have not seen her shift or in wolf form yet. Hopefully that will change soon. She is here at the Red Moon pack. She will be in attendance at the party. She will be the most beautiful wolf I have ever seen, I just know it. I look up at the porch and Julius and his family are being led into the pack house by an Omega. I start driving again. I park behind the Roman's cars. I step out of the car and the most enchanting smell engulfs me, honeysuckle and vanilla. Ranger is spinning and jumping. He senses our chosen mate. Ever since we made the pact with each other we have been able to sense our chosen mate instead of our fated mate. I will reject her on the spot when I meet her, there is only one mate for us, and that is the one we chose.
