Julius POV

The ride seemed like it took forever, but in reality it was only an hour. We were cutting it close, because the party starts in an hour. My sisters are going to be freaking out because of the short amount of time they will have to get ready. They don't know that all they will have to do is get dressed, because the Alpha and Luna of Red Moon have a hair stylist and make-up artist on staff for today. They will be so excited when they find out. We are pulling up to the pack house now. We sit in the car waiting for the Alpha and Luna. My parents will greet them first, then mind link us to come and greet them. I am looking at my phone for the time, when Anubis becomes restless again. I have not heard from him since I was contemplating not coming. He did not like that at all.

I am curious as to why he is so restless all of a sudden.

"What is going on Anubis?" I ask him.

"You will know shortly," he tells me.

"Well that was cryptic and helpful at all," I say back.

He has stopped talking but he is still restless. I look up from my phone just in time to see the Luna come out, I thought how strange that only the Luna came out to greet us, that's when I see her. She is being escorted by the Alpha. She is the most beautiful creature I have ever laid my eyes on. Anubis is practically spinning in circles. She has her hair up in a bun, some curls were falling around her face. Her skin was tanned and the dress she had on was clinging to her in all the right places. Her eyes are the color of honey, she is pure perfection.

Anubis was howling in my head, I wonder what has gotten into him. I see my parents get out of their car, they go up and hug the girl. Who is she? The Alpha's nice or the Luna's niece? Then I the mind link.

"Alright, it's your turn girls," my mother says.

"Julius come out after the girls," my father tels me.

The girls bolt out of the car and almost tackle the poor girl before smothering her in a hug. I get out of the car and head towards them. My sisters let her go. I am looking at her, and all I want to do is grab her and hold her and never let her go. I have no idea where that is coming from or why I am feeling this way. Anubis is being very antsy right now.

I start walking up the stairs, she is looking at me and she seems frozen. I keep staring at her and she blushes. All of a sudden Anubis shouts in my head.

"MATE!"

"What the hell?" I ask him.

"She is our mate Julius," he tells me.

"I got that, I am asking why you shouted," I tell him.

"Because I am happy, we found her and she was not as far away as we thought," he said.

"Ok just don't shout like that, it gives me a headache," I told him.

"Oh, I'm sorry," he apologized.

"It's ok just don't do it again," I tell him.

"Ok," he says.

As I am talking to him I am still approaching her. She looks nervous. I get up to her and I have to resist the urge to grab her. I do not want to scare her.

"Her wolf is present, I can sense her, but I can not talk to her, why is that?" Anubis asks.

"She has not shifted yet," I tell him.

"That makes sense," Anubis says, disappointed.

He is really eager for our mate. I don't blame him, I am too. I know that since she has not shifted yet, she wil not know that I am her mate. I have to be patient a little while longer.

I shake hands with her as the Alpha makes the introduction.

"Aubrey, my dear this is Julius, the future Alpha of Silver Moon pack. Julius this is my daughter, Aubrey," he says.

I am stunned. I remember meeting her last year at her parent's anniversary party. I did not talk to her because she seemed shy. Now I wish I had, maybe we could have had a chance to get to know each other before today. I am happy either way because I liked her then, so it is good that we are mates. As I shake her hand I feel faint sparks and tingles, it will get more intense once she shifts, but I will take it for now.
