Aubrey POV

I am nervous about tonight, the party is only two hours away now. I am getting ready, my hair is up in a simple bun with a few loose curls framing my face. My make-up is also simple, just enough to put a little color in my cheeks and make my honey colored eyes pop. The dress that my mother picked out for me is a baby blue with bead work on the bodice. The color of the dress pops because of my tanned skin. My hair is a strawberry blonde, which also stands out next to my skin. I wonder if my wolf will be a reddish color. I am so glad I have a different dress to wear for my shift, I do not want to ruin this dress it is too beautiful.

I am standing in front of the mirror just looking at myself, I never dress like this or wear make-up. I am stunned at how I look. I start to feel a movement in my mind, like my mind is stretching after a long sleep. There is a pressure in my head and then I feel a snap like a rubber band broke. My eyes turned a bright blue then I heard the most beautiful sound.

"Hello Aubrey, I am Isis. I am your wolf."

My wolf has spoken to me. I am so happy right now. This means at midnight i can shift. I can't wait.

"Are you ready to come out and meet everyone?" I ask Isis.

"Yes, but we need to find our mate, he will protect us!" Isis said.

"Why do we need protecting?" I ask.

"Danger is close." Isis claimed.

"That does not answer my question Isis." I tell her.

"You will know why and who once we shift." Isis states.

She is being so vague.

I don't know if I want to shift now. Who is the person I am supposed to be afraid of? Why am I supposed to be afraid of them? I don't know the answer to any of those questions, and I am worried because it could be anyone. My mother knocking on my door breaks me from my thoughts.

"Aubrey, honey are you ready to go downstairs? Some of the guests are starting to arrive," she says.

"Be right there mom," I answer.

"Be quick the Alpha of Silver Moon and his family just pulled up," she tells me.

I know she is hoping that someone at the party will be my mate. She doesn't want to send me to neighboring packs because she is scared that the Alpha of Black Moon will try and keep me in his since he has made his intentions chillingly clear. I am sure he will try something.

I open my door and head for the stairs. I go down and my father is at the bottom waiting for me. When he sees me he starts tearing up.

"Oh my, sweetie you look beautiful," he tells me.

"Thank you, daddy," I tell him.

"Come and let's greet our guests," he says.

"Ok daddy," I say nervously.

We go to the front porch of the pack house. I see two black SUVs. In the front SUV is the Alpha and Luna of Silver Moon pack. In the next SUV the future Alpha and his sisters. I met them all once at my parents anniversary party. The sisters were really nice, I was too nervous to talk to the future Alpha. He was the most handsome man I had ever seen. He has dark brown hair, baby blue eyes, and he is built like a God.

All the sisters share the same hair color with their brother, but they all have different color eyes. The Alpha and Luna emerge first. They greet me warmly with hugs. They comment on how grown up I am. Then the girls get out of their car and run up to me. They all three crushed me in a hug. Then their brother got out and my heart stopped. I couldn't believe that he had gotten even more handsome. The way he was looking at me was unnerving.
