Chapter 1 You Are Such a Slut!
"Ouch, it hurts."
Rosalind Simpson whispered unconsciously, as if her body was floating, unsupported. Her blurred mind left her with nothing but an instinct to survive. Therefore, she clung to the only thing she could touch subconsciously.
A man's scorching body and big muscles brought Rosalind a sense of salvation when she was in intense pain.
She could tell something had gone wrong, yet her resistance was in vain.
The pain was gradually obliterated and replaced by uncontrollable desire and madness.
...
The following day.
The door to the hotel room was kicked open from the outside. Immediately afterward, a woman's piercing scream broke the quietness in the early morning. "Rosalind, you..."
Rosalind was curling up under a thin blanket when the loud noise awakened her. Hearing this, she opened her dazed eyes subconsciously and looked toward the door.
Rosalind saw her best friend, Susie Field, who covered her mouth in shock at the door, followed by Hilary Philip, Rosalind's fiancé.
Looking at Rosalind on the bed, Hilary wore a gloomy expression with strong disgust and anger in his eyes, frowning deeply.
"Rosalind Simpson, it looks like I underestimated you before. How dare you cheat on me before we get married?" Hilary took a few steps forward and yanked down the blanket covering Rosalind's body. With disgust in his eyes, he said, "You are so filthy."
Since the room door was still wide open, Rosalind instinctively pressed the sheet. Only until now did she realize that she wasn't in her bedroom. She opened her mouth in a panic, her pale lips trembling as she asked in a broken voice, "What do you mean I cheated on you?"
Rosalind suddenly stopped speaking. Yesterday...
A strange man whose face was blurred had s*x with her wildly when she lost control last night. The scenes occurred to her and astonished her.
How did it happen?
Hilary was her fiancé, and their wedding was about to be held soon. She had to explain it to him.
"I..."
Hilary lifted the thin blanket sideways rudely. The loose cloth failed to cover the hickeys on her body. Hilary ran his fingertips along Rosalind's neck to her chest contemptuously. "After playing innocent and pure for so many years, have you ever thought that I would catch you cheating on me? "
Rosalind hurried to tug Hilary's cuffs with tears in her eyes. "Hilary, I don't know what's going on here. Please believe me..."
Hilary swatted Rosalind's hand away and said, "Believe you? Am I stupid or blind? Rosalind Simpson, do you want me to find you some audience to see whether you are still a virgin?"
After speaking, Hilary walked out as if he did intend to summon people over.
Rosalind scrambled to get up from the bed, panicked, but the severe pain in her body forced her to collapse on the bed again. "Please don't..."
In the meantime, Susie pulled Hilary back, snapped the door quickly, and grabbed Rosalind through the sheet on her body. "Rosalind, it's okay."
Susie comforted Rosalind softly while gently patting her back. Hilary frowned upon seeing this, blaming coldly, "Susie, are you going to defend this shameless woman?"
"I have no idea how I get here. I just woke up in this room out of the blue. Hilary, could you please trust me?" Rosalind clenched her rob and begged in a low voice. "Susie asked me to have dinner with her yesterday, and we drank a little. After that..."
She remembered nothing afterward.
How did she get out of the restaurant, come to the hotel room, and have s*x with that guy?
She had no clue.
But the hickeys on her body were evidence of what she had done.
Hilary sneered. "You were too drunk to realize what you had done? What a good excuse."
"That's not true!" Rosalind looked at Susie, eyeing her to help. "Susie, I was drunk last night. How did I come here? You..."
"Rosalind, we didn't meet yesterday. I can't just lie for you even if we are good friends! Lies don't last long. It's all right that you did the wrong thing. As long as you admit your mistake, Hilary will forgive your 'naughty drama.'
Rosalind couldn't believe her ears, wondering why Susie denied the fact that she had invited Rosalind yesterday.
At this moment, Susie narrowed her lips, her dark soft hair hanging down upon her shoulders, which blurred her expression. She turned sideways and approached Rosalind's ear, whispering in a voice that only the two could hear, "Rosalind, did the man I got for you yesterday serve you well?"
"It's you!" Susie had made it clear that she had planned it all! Rosalind opened her eyes wide in dismay, and her extreme anger urged her to slap Susie. "You got the man here? Why did you set me up? What did I ever do to you to make you do this to me?"
The Simpson family and the Field family were family friends, so Rosalind and Susie have known each other since childhood. Even if Rosalind's family collapsed later, when she was still young, Susie still treated her nicely and equally. They had been like sisters for years, but Rosalind had never thought that her best friend, whom she trusted wholeheartedly, was the one who hurt her the worst.
Susie took the slap without dodging, so her fair face soon became red and swollen. She covered her face in aggression, tears gushing out silently. Susie looked at Rosalind in disbelief, asking, "What are you saying, Rosalind? How can I possibly set you up? How could you blame me for this because I don't want to lie for you?"
"That's enough!" Hilary strode forward and dragged Susie into his arms. Caressing her cheek heartbrokenly, Hilary glared at Rosalind. "Rosalind, it's impossible for us to end up together. If you don't want to make a big deal out of this, you'd better break off the engagement with me."
"Hilary, it's Susie who set me up! It's true! She said it herself!"
Hilary ignored Rosalind's vociferous arguments as he gently wiped away the tears on Susie's face. "Does it hurt? Would you like me to take you to the hospital?"
His concerning words and intimate manners pierced Rosalind's heart like steel needles.
Suddenly, Rosalind understood what it was all about.
No wonder Hilary has been getting colder and colder to her recently. Susie was always there when they dated.
Rosalind smiled bitterly, feeling like she was a fool played by the two people she trusted the most. The light in Rosalind's eyes faded, along with her emotional feelings. She was hopeless.
"When did it start?"
Hilary frowned and shielded Susie behind him. "Rosalind, you are not qualified to mind my business."
"I'm not qualified?" Rosalind took a deep breath, standing up with all her might. Even if her legs were trembling, she stood straight, "Hilary Philip, I'm still your fiancée, but you think I am not qualified to ask about you?"
"You won't be soon."
"I won't break off the engagement!" How can you guys set me up and kick me out quickly?
"It looks like you're not going to cooperate."
Hilary let go of his arm around Susie, took out his phone from his pocket, and came up to Rosalind. When yanking her hair, Hilary forced her to raise her head and expose the hickeys before taking pictures with his phone.
Realizing what he wanted to do, Rosalind struggled violently. Unfortunately, the harder she struggled, the tighter Hilary's hand clutched her hair. Strands of hair were pulled off her head, followed by seeping blood.
As the bright blood flew its way to Rosalind's face, she was no longer a beautiful girl but looked more like a ghost.
The pain made her hatred clearer. Finally, Rosalind opened her mouth and bit Hilary's wrist. No matter how Hilary hit and scolded her, she wouldn't let him go even if it was too painful to breathe.
Slap.
Rosalind was slapped on her face. Hilary used so much strength that Rosalind lost her balance and hit the closet next to her. She fainted quickly.
Hilary covered his bleeding wrist with a gloomy face.
"You are such a slut!"
