Walked Away
“Joe?” Kirstie called him when she saw police officers walking towards them.
“Excuse me, are you Mr. Joe King?” a police officer asked him.
“Yeah?” he replied.
“You are under arrest for physically abusing Mrs. Janice King. You are hereby directed to come with us at the police station and explain your side,” the police officer told him.
He was handcuffed one afternoon while he was walking at the police station.
“What? Mom? I’m not—“
“You should come with us, and you can explain.”
