Chapter 15

-Luna POV-

I knocked at Theo's door,"Theo hun come down for dinner everyone has eaten but you, Delilah and Faleen. By the way were is Faleen?" I yelled hoping he could hear me through door.

The door swung open and Theo rushed out and I saw a glimpse of Delilah in lingerie. Theo shut the door behind him.

"Oh my god Theo...Please tell me yo-" Theo interrupted me.

"Hell no. She was trying to get somewhere with me but that aint happening," He said as he walked with me down the stairs to the dining hall.

"Thank god, cause honestly I would hate to see little devil Delilah's running a muk around here." I replied. Theo smiled back at me.

"Yeah I agree. Also I need to ask you to do something for me," he said.

We had turned a corner now heading to the dining hall. "Okay what's the favor?" I asked.

"You need to watch over Faleen because I can't," he said and I stopped in my tracks.

"Theo we already agreed you would look after her," I argued. We had made it the dining hall now.

"I know Luna but..I can't I need to try an stay away from her," he said in a low voice. I looked him in the eyes. He seemed frustrated and uptight about something.

"Hun whats going on?" I asked. He sighed and continued to tell me.

"Father wants me to focus on Delilah more since we are to be married soon..." He paused. I leaned into him with a questioning glance.

"And?.." I questioned.

"Faleen is....lets say a distraction," He rubbed his neck and was getting flustered.

"Theo? Do you have a crush on Faleen?" I asked and started to tease him.

"I mean there is definitely a physical attraction," he said and smiled. I poked him in the arm,"Oh la la" and I laughed.

"She just makes me feel nervous around her sometimes but in a good way. I have this feeling of wanting to protect her and comfort her it feels odd to me. I've never felt like this before," he said.

"Hmm let me guess you feel all fluttery in side and your palms start to sweat when you see her?" I nudged his shoulder with mine. "Huh? huh?" I teased and he pushed me back playfully.

"Oh shut up" he said and chuckled. I was happy to see him like this. He seemed happier talking about her. It was too bad that even if he did really have feelings for her nothing much could come of it because of Delilah. Ugh she left a sour taste in my mouth.

"Alright I'll watch after Faleen. I'll go bring her down for dinner. You go ahead and start eating without us." I pointed him towards his plate on the table and turned to go up the stairs and into the guess bedroom where Poseidon had told me she was staying now.

I knocked twice but heard nothing. I opened the door. "Faleen dinner is down stairs I'll ta-" I paused as I saw her bed empty and there was no sign of her.

Oh good lord...I swear I lose this girl more than lose my own hair ties!

-Faleen POV-

I grabbed the jacket off the floor of the cabin and looked around one last time. I couldn't stay here even though I loved this cabin so much. It was too close to them.

I put the jacket between my arms and walked out to the shore line. I hope they wouldn't be too mad at me for taking off without telling them but I really couldn't say what kind of trouble I would be in when I got back.

I dove into the water and swam back to Abynea. It took me awhile to find the entrance but the guards let me in. I swam into the entrance and fell out on the other side. One of the guards was startled and lifted his trident towards me. I hissed at him and swatted the trident away with my tail. The man was lucky I didn't stab him. The other guard pushed him back. I started to shift back. I stood up and the guards were gawking at me.

"Um hello? My eyes are up here fellas," I pointed to my eyes taking there attention away from my chest. "Someone get me a towel or something. You just gonna leave girl hanging?" I asked and they rushed into each other and then the opposite way of one another to grab something to cover me. I huffed "Huh Idiots."

One of the guards came back with a soft black robe. I guess it would do for now but It was short. Better something than nothing though. I slipped it around myself and grabbed my dad's jacket and jetted up to the bedroom. Hopefully nobody had noticed I was gone. I ran half way up the stairs and found Luna with her arms crossed and her eyes shooting darts at me. Uh Oh.

"Young Lady!" Luna stomped her feet down each of the steps. "You need to stop doing this! I need to know where your are and where your going. Now do you understand me?" She pointed her finger at me. I gulped and nodded my head.

She looked at the soaking wet coat in my hands and how I was dressed. "What in the world? Where were you Faleen and don't give me any nonsense," I was actually a little scared to get her angry so of course I didn't try lying.

"Went to the cabin my father built me and found his coat...I wanted to be were he last was for a while.." I said with my head down and my hand stroking my dad's drenched coat.

Luna's anger seems to fade away when she realized what I was talking about.

She gently took the coat from me. " I'll make sure this gets good an dry for you to wear when you want to okay? But for now come an eat your dinner." She took my hand and lead me to the dining hall were I saw Theo quickly get up from his set. His plate half full.

I glanced at him and he seemed to be in a hurry. Later I would have speak to him about how I got in that room.

Luna pointed to a plate next to Theo's and I sat down. I didn't really noticed how hungry I was until I started actually eating. God this food was always good!

Luna tapped me on the shoulder and I whipped my head around with my cheeks full. She giggled,"Okay chipmunk come find my in the care unit and I'll get you some better clothes okay?" I nodded my head and turned to finish my plate.

For this dining hall being so big there weren't that many people here. Just me actually. Maybe I was the last one to eat dinner.

I finished my plate and chugged my water and went to go find Luna. I walked down the hall towards the care unit I turned the last corner and crashed into someone and fell on top of them. "Jesus buddy watch were your going!" I yelled and then felt a surge of heat rise in my cheeks. Good lord I swear this guy had the worse f*****g timing!

"Theo!" I yelled at him and he seemed to be as surprised as I was. "Huh...guess that was the wrong direction.." he glanced up towards the other way down the hall. It seemed like he was out of breath. Wait, Oh God..I was straddling him! I could feel him breathing. He seemed to take notice too and his breathing become rapid.

"Huh nice outfit," he said smiling that wickedly way that made wanna melt. I looked down and my robe had come apart practically everything was half way showing...I was so embarrassed I felt paralyzed. 

"mm..your fogging up my glasses.." he then wicked at me.

He then grabbed the ties of my robe and tied them together. "That was huh...unexpected," he said still smiling. Oh god...did he really just see my breasts. f**k I hate those guards!

I bet I looked so stupid. His eyes seemed to wonder my body. Did I just see this boy bite his lip?! Oh uh huh! I jumped off him and in the process had whacked his glasses off.

He sat up and was still looking at me. I quickly grabbed his glasses and handed them back to him without looking at him. "Here," I said and I ran down the hall like I was running for my life.

Ugh why does this crap always happen to me!?
