My sister, Sandy Rob, got herself tangled in an online romance, and she used my face to do it all.

In my previous life, Sandy came to me in tears, begging me to go to the hotel and meet her online boyfriend in her place.

Buried under my family's relentless guilt-tripping, I caved and went for her. But I never imagined that scumbag would assault me.

I screamed until my throat was raw, but not a single person came to my rescue.

And after it all, my sister had the audacity to say, "She's a grown woman. She knew what it meant to meet at a hotel. She knew exactly what she was doing."

My parents piled on, defending Sandy. "Laura's been jealous of her sister since she was little. She was just trying to snatch her boyfriend."

The most disgusting part was that after they caught that bastard, he spun a slick, sweet-talking story about how he never cared about my sister's appearance. He was head over heels for her soul.

With that, he managed to get a letter of forgiveness from my sister and my parents.

As for me? After the assault, I was left in a daze. I sank into depression and eventually died.

When I was reborn, I set my terms. "Fine, I'll go. But Sandy is coming with me."

'Sandy, you got yourself this boyfriend, so deal with him yourself.'

Chapter 1
My sister, Sandy Rob, got herself tangled in an online romance, and she used my face to do it all. In my previous life, Sandy came to me in tears, begging me to go to the hotel and meet her online boyfriend in her place. Buried under my family's relentless guilt-tripping, I caved and went for her. But I never imagined that scumbag would assault me. I screamed until my throat was raw, but not a single person came to my rescue. And after it all, my sister had the audacity to say, "She's a grown woman. She knew what it meant to meet at a hotel. She knew exactly what she was doing." My parents piled on, defending Sandy. "Laura's been jealous of her sister since she was little. She was just trying to snatch her boyfriend." The most disgusting part was that after they caught that bastard, he spun a slick, sweet-talking story about how he never cared about my sister's appearance. He was head over heels for her soul. With that, he managed to get a letter of forgiveness from my sister and my parents. As for me? After the assault, I was left in a daze. I sank into depression and eventually died. When I was reborn, I set my terms. "Fine, I'll go. But Sandy is coming with me." 'Sandy, you got yourself this boyfriend, so deal with him yourself.' …… "Laura, please, I'm begging you. Just go meet him for me. I really, really like Devin." Devin Lowell was Sandy Rob's online boyfriend. "Yeah, your sister hardly ever goes out. She finally found someone she likes, and all she's asking is for you to check him out in her place. How can you be so heartless?" Sandy and my mom were playing good cop, bad cop. My mom didn't see anything wrong with Sandy using my face and my identity to chat with a guy. If anything, Sandy had convinced her that Devin was both gorgeous and loaded, and if he married her, our whole family would never have to worry about money again. But Devin had been playing Sandy from the start. He had targeted her with ulterior motives. In my previous life, I had been trapped in that hotel room, forced to swallow a drug, and my strength had drained away within seconds. Devin threw me onto the bed and violated me, humiliating me beyond words. Afterward, I reported him to the police, and Devin was arrested. But Sandy and my parents blindly signed a letter of forgiveness for him. Sandy and Devin even went ahead and got married. I couldn't stomach another word from either of them. I spun on my heel and walked away. Just then, my boyfriend, Rex Robert, showed up after having heard about the situation. He grabbed my arm, his brow furrowed. "Laura, stop being so selfish. It's just a date." In my past life, when Rex found out the truth, he didn't stand by me. Instead, he blamed me for not respecting myself. Every person in this room and every word they spoke made my stomach churn. I coldly shook off his hand and kept heading for the door. He yanked me back hard, and my arm slammed against the corner of the table with a sickening thud. "Laura, back when you and Sandy both had a crush on me, I chose you. And now she's finally found someone she likes again. Are you that determined to keep her from being happy?" I listened to him and almost laughed out loud. Yeah, he picked me because I was prettier. But once we were together, he always took Sandy's side. Every time, his excuse was the same. "Your sister has sacrificed so much for you. You need to grow up." Even when we went shopping, Sandy always got first pick. Even when we moved to a new place, she got the master bedroom, while I got one that had been converted from a bathroom. I was always the one sacrificing. But in their eyes, Sandy was the victim. My gaze darkened as I caught the hint of smugness in Sandy's eyes. I said flatly, "Fine. I'll go see him. But I have one condition." The room went dead silent. My mom clearly hadn't expected me to dare bargain with them. "You've really gotten too big for your britches, demanding conditions for helping your own sister." I said, "I want to break up with Rex." Rex's face turned thunderous. Then he let out a smug, grating chuckle. "Laura, are you playing hard to get now?" No surprise there. After all, I'd always catered to his every whim and never once defied him. Naturally, his arrogance had convinced him that I couldn't survive without him. I didn't want to waste another word. "Break up with me, and I'll go." My mom was livid. She raised her hand to slap me. I didn't even flinch. "Go ahead. If my face swells up, your precious golden goose will walk away." Her hand froze in midair before she slowly lowered it. "Laura, you dare threaten me?" I smirked. "I'd walk out right now." Sandy stepped forward, tugging helplessly at Mom's sleeve. "Mom, what am I going to do? If Devin doesn't meet her tomorrow, he'll definitely break up with me. I can't live without him." She said this with tears welling in her eyes as she shot a glance at Rex. Rex's heart melted instantly. "Don't worry, Sandy. I won't let him break up with you." Then he turned to me, disgust written all over his face. "Fine. We're breaking up." He said it with a sneer, his gaze fixed on me. After all, in his mind, I was just playing hard to get. He was waiting for regret to flash across my face. Too bad for him. I was dead serious. I nodded. "Deal."
