Natasha's POV:
"Yes. I mean looking at this map alone, I feel there's a navigation device needed", she repeated.
I stared at her, Bernice and Trisha did the same. A minute passed and we're still lost of words.
"So what are we going to do now?" I finally found my voice to ask.
She thought for few seconds and gazed up at us adjusting her glasses. Yeah, her glasses ain't the fashionable type but a recommended one since she's shortsighted.
"I think we can still get in without it", Cathy replied with a smile.
The three of us sighed in relief.
"But we need to study this map very well to avoid missing our way, OK?" Cathy added.
"Sure" I answered. So Cathy and I along with Bernice studied the map and saw the first place to get into as we entered the forest . "I think this is much understood now. When we're inside the forest after touring this places we've studied just now, then we can study more. Is that ok?" I asked.
"Yeah. I agree with you. Here, take back the map" Cathy said handing it back to me.
"You can hold it if you want" I replied.
"No,its better you keep it. I can't hold it while taking pictures" she said still stretching out her hand for me to take it.
"Okay" I replied collecting it. "Let's get going now" I added and my friends nodded allowing me to take the lead which I did.
We started walking down the road and then we took pictures at every beautiful sight we set our eyes on. We've already toured for an hour and we haven't caught sight of any human. That was weird,because this was the same place I read people visit most times but today no one apart from us is here. How do we ask questions? I thought deeply.
We were becoming exhausted already and our stomachs were doing some rumbling.
"Hey girls, let's settle down and eat something" I called out to them since I was now at the back while Cathy was in front.
"Its a great idea. I'm famished." Cathy yelled back.
"Me too" Bernie and Trish said in unison.
"Let's sit over the mountain side that's in front of us" I suggested.
"That should be the Leavitt fall?" Cathy asked.
"I don't know?" I answered rhetorically.
"Anywhere we're going must be in the map" she replied.
"Oh...",I said.
"Let's see the map again" she requested and I opened it to show her.
We were still looking into it when my dear b***h of a friend,sorry to use that word but she is one, and its no other than Trisha said to us, "you girls should figure that out fast. I'm so f*****g hungry!" she yelled.
"You shut the f**k up. We ain't playing here!" I snapped back at her.
She growled beneath her breath and muttered a "whatever"before matching to the mountain top.
"And where did you think you're going?" Bernie asked making her to halt.
"To have a clearer view over there and also wait till you girls decide a suitable place for us to eat since that's what you girls want" Trish replied and continued walking up.
"You're so im....."
"I think I found it" Cathy interrupted whatever I wanted to say to Trish.
"Found what this time around?" Bernie asked.
"A picnic area where we could stay and have our lunch" Cathy answered.
"Where's that?" I asked.
"Not too far from here" she replied showing me the map.
"Can we just have a look on the mountain top and see the waterfall before going to the picnic area?" Trish asked.
"If you're no longer hungry, of course we can" I replied her with a smirk.
"I'm hungry but....I love the sight of waterfalls...can't we just...." she paused and stared at us with a pleading gaze.
"We'll go up there with you to avoid seeing you frustrate us" Bernie said with an eye rolling before I could even say a word.
"Just shut up, I didn't ask you" Trish replied.
"Then we ain't going up there with you" I stated.
"C'mon, Nat" Trish whines.
"What? Bernie spoke for us but you shunned her which was very rude. So you can go up there alone while we go have our lunch, you can join us there when you're done" I said to her with a frown although I didn't meant all I said.
"Arrrrrrrrrg! Fine! I'm sorry" she replied halfheartedly.
"Not to me. Say it to Bernie" I said tugging my hair to the back of my ear.
She hesitated for a moment. "Okay, I'm sorry Bernie for acting silly" she apologized calmly.
"That was much better" Bernie said with a wink.
"You crazy...",Trish trailed off as Bernie started walking up to her.
"I dare you to complete that word" Bernie said marching up to her while Trish stepped back.
"You.....cr..a..z..y....b...I..t..c..h" Trish completed with a laugh and ran up leaving Bernie to chase her up the hill.
"If I get you I'll kill you right here in this forest" Bernie threatened as she chased after her.
"This girls....that's how they are...let's join them" I said to Cathy with a grin.
"Just wait let me take some pictures of them" Cathy said as she placed the camera on her eye and captured Bernie grabbing Trish from behind. Their laugh and Trisha plead could be heard from where Cathy and I was standing.
"C'mon let's join them" I said to her.
She took one more capture before we joined them up the mountain.
"Wow! Its beautiful!" we exclaimed as we stood and stared down the waterfall.
"Let's get down there" Cathy suggested.
"No, that's risky. I'm not sure how it is down there its better we stay right here" I objected.
"It'll be fun if we could just get down there and play with the water" Trisha said.
"Yes, please. I want to take more pictures" Cathy begged.
I glance at Bernie and Bernie glanced back at me.
"Bernie? Are you also in support of this?" I asked with a raised brow.
"I...I really don't know. Maybe we should give it a try?" she answered rhetorically.
I glance at Cathy to Trish and then finally to Bernie. For the first time since we've been here, my mind doesn't feel good about this. I stood there thinking deeply if I should accept to get down there or not.
"What's your final answer?",Trish voice snapped me out of my thoughts.
"Uhmm...I...we...I..." I kept stuttering for words since I haven't made up my mind yet. What should I do? I asked myself. I can't say no them. It's three against one.
