Natasha's POV Uhmm...I...we...I..." I kept stuttering for words since I haven't made up my mind yet. What should I do? I asked myself. I can't say no them. It's three against one. "Nat? Please just say yes already",Trisha interrupted my thoughts. "Fine. I'll go with you guys, but we have to be very careful down there. OK?" I said. "Okay" my friends answered in unison. So my friends and I find our way down to the leavitt waterfall. To say the truth, it was a beautiful sight to view. Only the sound of the rushing waters could be heard. "C'mon guys, let's take some pictures"Cathy yelled as she kept taking photos of the waterfall. We got closer to her and stood by her side. "The three of you should stand close to the waters while you're backing it. I'll capture you guys from the front" Cathy instructed us as the photographer of the day. We obeyed her and stood posing different styles as she took photos of us. "C'mon Cathy, take pictures of me alone. Wanna upload on my IG when I get back home" Bernie said pushing Trisha and I away from her side. "You guys should hurry up I'm so hungry right now" Trisha said walking few steps away to sit down on the grass close to the waterfall. I turned my back on Cathy and Bernie an took a step to go sit beside Trisha and then I heard a scream and a splash of water. In a swift I turned to see what's going on. "Oh no!" I exclaimed as I dropped everything i was holding and ran towards the water. **~•~•** Trisha's POV: "What happened?" I asked Cathy as I got to her. When I heard the scream I gazed up immediately and stood up and ran up to my friends. But I was seeing just Cathy. "Its....Bernie... She...slipped and fell in the water while I was taking pictures of her. I'm... Scared she's gonna... Die" Cathy answered me nervously with tears streaming down her cheek. "Hey calm down. Nat is going to save her, she's already in the water." I consoled her. Bernie is not a good swimmer compared to Nat, in fact she doesn't know how to swim. I just hope Nat finds her. "The water...is rushing....with speed...are they going to be ok?" Cathy asked shivering like she just caught a cold. "Shh..just calm down,they'll...." "I need a help right here!" Nat's voice interrupted me mid-sentence. Immediately, we rushed to help her out from the water with Bernie's body which was lifeless on her arms. "Is she still alive?" Cathy asked worriedly kneeling beside Bernie's body. "Wait let me try something" I said and then I placed my palms on her chest and pressed it thrice but she wasn't coming alive. "She must have taken in a lot of water since she doesn't know how to swim" I added. "I told you guys not to come down her but you wouldn't listen, now see what has happened" Nat said pacing around confusedly. "Now is not the time to apportion blames. Rather we're looking for a solution to make Bernie come alive" I replied and continued pressing Bernie's chest. "So what do we do now? It looks like this isn't working" Cathy asked. "I guess the only option is to have a mouth to mouth oxygen with her" I said. "Let me do it then" Cathy said before I could even ask who would volunteer because me on my part, I don't think I can do it. Its just like kissing a girl on the lips. To me, its unacceptable. So i was relief to hear Cathy volunteer. I made way for her to come closer. She adjusted her glasses and shut her eyes closed before bringing her lips closer to that of Bernie. Her lips was an inch apart when Bernie coughed out water that covered poor Cathy's face. Thank Jesus it wasn't me it happened to. Cathy suddenly became a statued and didn't move. "Get the f**k off my body! What the hell were you trying to do?" Bernie exclaimed pushing Cathy of her body and gasping for air. "Woa woa, take it easy. You should be thanking her" I replied and helped Cathy up. "For almost kissing me?" Bernie asked with a raised brow. "Dumb head she wasn't trying to kiss you, she was about helping you regain consciousness" I corrected her with a glare. "I lost consciousness? How and why?" she asked in a furrowed brow. "You mean you don't remember what happened minutes ago?" Nat asked. Bernie paused for a second and looked around. She touched her clothes and it was wet. Immediately her eyes widened. "Oh my God! I remember vividly now. I fell off into the water!" she exclaimed. "Yes you did. And thank Nat for saving your life" I said. "Oh..."she replied with a nod as she stood up on her feet and walk up to Nat. "Thanks girlfriend. I owe you my life" she said and pulled Nat to a hug. "Its OK. You don't owe me anything. True Friends are always there for each other" Nat replied patting her back. After the embrace, they released each other. "I think we should get out of here now" Nat suggested. "Yes. That's the right thing to do" I replied and then we picked our bags and hanged it on our back. "I didn't even get a sorry for puking water on my face. Its really not fair" Cathy complained with a frown pouting. "I'm sorry, baby doll. Now can we go?" Bernie asked with a flash of smile. "Do I really. look. like .a baby. doll?" Cathy asked checking herself out. I gave a snort and answered for Bernie, "You're acting like one right now. I'll advice you stop acting like one and pick up your bag if not we'll leave you behind" I smirked. Immediately she gave a nod and picked up her bag and we started heading out of the waterfall area. ***~••~** Natasha's POV: We got to the picnic area fifteen minutes ago and we've settled down to eat our sandwiches and was now devouring the cakes Cathy brought for each of us. I took a sip of my orange Can drink and then had one more big bite of my cake. My friends were busy enjoying theirs too. "Tell me, who baked this cake?" Bernie asked and took a big bite of her cake. "I did. Don't you like it?" Cathy asked. "Hell no! I.love.it! It taste.so.good!" Bernie exclaimed munching lot of cakes in her mouth. Cathy smiled and said, "thank you". Ten minutes later we were done eating and now relaxing. We were so full that we couldn't have Bernie cookies at that moment, so we left it for later should incase we're hungry again. "Let's look into the map and know where we're going next" Cathy requested. "Okay" I replied and dig my hand into my left hoodie jacket pocket where I'd put it before we went down the waterfall. Unfortunately it wasn't in the left pocket, perhaps I made a mistake and put it in the right pocket. I checked dig my hand in the right pocket and it wasn't there either, I furrowed my brows. "Why that face?" Trisha asked. "Eh..nothing. The map...I folded it and put in my pocket but its not in my jacket pocket anymore" I said nervously. "Then search for it in your jeans pocket, it might be there" Bernie suggested. "Uhmm..ok..ay" I stuttered and gulped some saliva down my dried throat before standing up to search all corners of my jeans pocket. "Did you find it yet?" Cathy asked. I gulped again and shook my head. "Are sure you put it in your pocket?" Cathy asked and I nodded, "maybe you didn't put it there, check your bags. Both the schoolbag and the small bag you're hanging on your neck" she suggested. Immediately, I took my bag and unzipped it and started searching for the map. From the smallest bag to the biggest bag, I didn't find the map in there. My heart started racing as I stared at my friends in a gape. "What? Its not in there too?",Bernie asked and I shook my head in response because I've already lost my voice. "Let's search ours maybe there's a chance we mistakenly put it in our bag",Cathy said. My three friends started searching their bag thoroughly but at the end of it they found nothing of such in their bag. They all raise up their head and stared at me. We stared at each other confusedly. We're done for!
