I pulled into her driveway and my nerves hit. I wasn't sure why I was so nervous, it wasn't like I hadn't met the kids before. This was different. Last time, it was on my turf, this time it was on theirs.
I had stopped at the store and picked up a few items for all three of her kids; Chelsea, Micah and her sweet furbaby Zoey.
I parked my car, took a deep breath, and then slowly walked up to the front door. Before I could knock it swung open!
"Dr. Daniel! Dr. Daniel!" The kids yelled.
"Hey, Chelsea and Micah! How are you guys?"
"We are good," Chelsea answered. "We've been teaching Zoey tricks, you have to see them."
"I can't wait."
"Okay, you two, can you let him in the door, please," Darby said walking up behind the kids.
"Sorry Mama," Chelsea said.
