The next few months flew by. Daniel and I seemed to spend all of our free time together and everyone seemed to like him, from Syd who thought he was to die for, to Colton. Even Mama was a fan, he won her over the first time we all played cards together. As for the kids, well the kids adored him.
His parents were fantastic. His mom was super sweet, really smart and absolutely gorgeous. She had an air of sophistication about her. His dad was a giant, blue-eyed teddy bear, easily 6’4” that was always cracking dad jokes. He was a good looking man, but Daniel looked nothing like him, with the exception of the dimple. He had his mother’s gorgeous exotic features and his father’s sense of humor. I can remember asking him how his parents had met.
