The next day I was laying on the couch, relaxing when I heard Micah and Chelsea giggling, I had completely forgotten about our new addition, until that moment.
“What are you guys giggling at?” I yelled up the stairs.
“Zoey!” Micah yelled back.
“Uncle Cole taught her to roll over last night. It’s so cute,” Chelsea added.
“Oh, crap, the dog.” I muttered. “I guess I should find that card that Shelby gave me. This dog is about to cost me a bunch of money,” I huffed. “Thanks, Syd and Cole,” I said to myself.
I rummaged through my purse until I found it.
“‘Kanine Kingdom vet & pet spa’ sounds snooty. Do people really use pet spas?” I asked, again to no one in particular.
I looked over the card looking for the phone number. It read:
