Birthday Planning

Leila's P.O.V

Raven and I woke up early for a run well that's what the boys think, I mind linked her, Tristan and Trinity lastnight and told them what Lucian had told me so we were going for a run to talk about it. Trinity took us to a small clearing and put up a shield to stop people from listening to our conversation. "What do you think?" I asked each of them while they stared at me, Raven sat down on the ground "that could explain why Aureus still wants you dead, did Lucian tell you how he got this information?" I shook my head Tristan mind linked us We need to let the others' know, they can find out more but we still need to be prepared for letting Lucian know the truth I looked at him "when the time is right he will know but we still have  long way to go, training is going well, we still have the future leaders ceremony, Lucian's inauguration, then we can go home and finalise our attack" Trinity walked towards me "When do we tell our mates Leila, I know this is hard for you but I will not leave Lincoln to fight, I need him" I placed my hand on her shoulders "I'll tell Lucian when he becomes Alpha, that same night you can tell your mates, we'll give them the option to fight with us or stay behind but we will leave the next morning" they all nodded "I'll contact Jeremiah and let him know what Lucian asked you we might be able to send people to town to find out more information" Raven explained as she started to jog in the direction we came from, we all followed her.

 I jumped in the shower while Lucian slept, I changed into fresh clothes, I saw him stirring as he groaned "feeling under the weather?" I giggled at him as he pulled me closer "I had a good night with the boys, did you have a good night with the holy trinity" I sheepishly said placing sweet soft kisses on my neck "Mhmm" I could only moan out of my mouth "you know I wouldn't mind undressing you right now baby" I let out another moan, the though was too enticing for me to comprehend "as much as that sounds amazing, we need to get back to the pack house, Isabel wants to start planning her birthday for next week" Lucian groaned and rolled over, my phone started ringing the caller Id was Briar "hey B, you o.k?" I answered

"yeah, dad wanted me to call to see if you could ask Lucian and Lincoln if Melissa and I could stay at their pack houses" I stood and walked towards the window and opened the curtains, Lucian groaned louder as I tapped him and mouthed hurry up "of course I can, for how long?" Lucian rolled out of bed and gave me a kiss on the forehead before heading to the shower "until Lucian becomes Alpha, Jeremiah and Dad will handle this end but from what we gathered Aureus and Valynik are circling the area, so we will be down there for extra protection, also your mum, Trey and Raymond will arrive the day before your birthdays', Mafalda will arrive at Lincoln's a few days before to put extra protection over the ceremonial grounds." I finished packing our bags "anything else Briar?" I asked zipping up our bags "Some of our warriors will be there during Lucian's inauguration to escort us home" I saw the bathroom door open and Lucian walked out in all of his glory drying his hair, when he saw me staring at him he mischievously wriggled his eyebrows at me and I giggled at him "o.k B, I will ask them and send a text through to you. Bye" I hung up and watched as Lucian got dressed feeling a little excited "everything alright?" he asked pulling his t shirt over his head "Yeah Gamma Aaron asked me to ask you and Lincoln if Melissa and Briar could stay at the pack houses" he raised an eye brow at me "he asked you to ask us?" he asked looking at me sideways as I nodded at him "for how long?" he grabbed his phone and wallet putting them in his pocket "until after you inauguration" I said putting on my jacket, he looked up at the ceiling thinking "Yeah Briar can stay with us, I'll have a guest room set up for her, it will good for Lucas to spend time with her" he smiled and kissed my lips as we left the room. When we got to the dining room everyone was already seated, Paul and Lucas were worse for wear definitely hung over, Trinity was seated on Lincoln's lap, I saw how happy she was and it warmed my heart up I sat next to Lucian who had gotten both of us plates for breakfast, I started to eat when I felt eyes on me, I looked up and saw Lincoln staring "did you enjoy your run this morning Leila?" he asked having a drink of coffee I smiled at him "yes i did, you have a beautiful territory" I glanced at Raven who was watching intently "Alpha Lincoln, Gamma Aaron asked if Melissa would be able to stay here for a couple of weeks?" I saw Ryder's face light up while Lincoln's eye brows were raised "They asked a human to ask me, the alpha, if a mate of one his top warriors could stay. That seems odd, don't you think?" Tristan let out a low growl, while Raven's grip on her fork tightened but Trinity placed her hands on his cheeks "my darling, there is no need to be rude, as I have explained Leila is special and our leaders will call on her help when ever they choose, human or not we do not judge ourselves higher beings to anyone" he smiled at Trinity with nothing but love in his eyes she placed a gentle kiss on his lips he turned to Ryder "finalise the details of her arrival Ryder, remember she is 16 no over stepping the line" Ryder had a big grin on his face as he got his phone out and ran out. Lucian looked at Lucas "well you might as well do the same, I have already given Briar permission to stay with us" Lucas looked like he got a fresh round of energy as he jumped up yelling WAHOO running from the room. We all laughed.

Lucian, Paul, Raven, Lucas and myself drove back to the pack house, I watched as Raven hugged her siblings so tight I swear she broke a bone or two. We arrived and the boys went to have a meeting while Isabel came running out to us "O.k girls, I need your help" she looked as us looking more stressed than usual, Raven lent on the car "hit me" Isabel looked at her confused but shrugged her shoulders and punched Raven in the arm, I burst into laughter having to hold my ribs while Raven looked at Isabel with furrowed brows "what the hell Isabel?" she asked, Isabel looked at her more confused "You said and I quote 'HIT ME" so I did" Raven smirked "I meant Tell me what you need- You know don't worry, What do you need?" Isabel looked at both of us "My birthday is this Saturday and originally I was going to have it at the club but I can't so I need help to sort my 18th birthday" Raven sucked in a breath "Well hun, You do have a pack house with an amazingly huge back, side and Front yard so we have a venue" Isabel looked like she hadn't thought about her home, I linked arms with her pulling her to the backyard "We'll turn this into the best 18th this town will ever see" I watched as Isabel dropped her head "we can't get this done by Saturday" she was deflated, Raven linked arms with her "you haven't seen Leila's work, she'll get it done by Saturday" they both looked at me for reassurance, I moved my sight from them to the backyard, I used my Imagination to conjure up a plan and once I had my vision I turned to the girls and smirked, Raven of course knew this look and very soon so would Isabel "We have work to do" I said walking towards the pack house.

Lucian's P.O.V

Paul, Lucas and I were going through paperwork when we heard a knock "come in" I called out and when the door opened in walked Leila, Raven and Isabel "hey baby, you girls o.k?" I asked going back to my paper work, Leila walked over to me and I pulled her to my lap "Yes" she said kissing my neck I felt shivers going down my spine all the way to my crotch which was now twitching "We are planning Isabel's birthday, we will hold it here at the pack house but I nee somewhere to do the planning" I smiled down at her while her green eyes sparkled back at me "Well then, I guess now will be the best time to show you my surprise" I stood up holding her bridal style and walked towards the door opening it and walked down the hall to another door which was next to mine, I lowered her and  held her tight to my body while I opened the door I watched as her eyes widened in shock and happiness "Wow, this is beautiful Lucian" I really hoped she would like it, "I had this room which was  a lounge area for myself to get away from paperwork converted to your new office" her mouth dropped as she turned to me "really?" she asked walking in "yes, when I take over as Alpha and you as Luna we will have Mum and Dad's office's as our formal pack office's but these will be our personal offices, do you like it?" I lent on the door frame crossing my arms. Her office was definitely  feminine compared to mine, her favourite colours were pale blues, pinks and white so I had mum help with the design and decor and I think mum nailed it. I giggled as I saw her spin in a circle before running and leaping in my arms, I caught her and she wrapped her legs around my waist "I love it, It's perfect, your perfect" she said in between kisses, I couldn't help but giggle. We were interrupted by someone clearing their throat I looked sideways to see Isabel standing with her arms crossed "O.k big boy, put my sister in-law down so we can get started on my birthday" I saw Leila blushing as Raven walked out of my office holding Paul's hand, I lowered Leila until she was on her own two feet I lent down placing my mouth on her neck "let me know if you need anything" I said before placing a gentle kiss on her neck Leila nodded and I'm sure I saw a glimpse of a smirk as I proceeded to my office, Raven looked at me "your going to regret saying that" she laughed kissing Paul and walking away from us.

Paul sat on the chair in front of me, while Lucas was on the couch with a lap top "right, Luc have you come up with anything?" I asked sitting back down "Nah, I have completely Nada, I mean there's no pictures or any Info apart from his and his family deaths, It's like he didn't really exist" I saw the frustration on his face, Lucas was the best tech guy we have, he could dig up any information from anywhere on anyone but Colton Black was more of a mystery than anything and we couldn't find out anything "send some scouts out to try and dig up information, Paul anything on Elias Black?" I asked as he slumped on my desk "Yeah there's a lot on him but after the war with the Dragon King there's nothing on his Lineage" i lent back into my chair "so we are at a dead end" Lucas closed his laptop "maybe Lincoln and Charlee can ask Trinity and Tristan" I shook my head "no, they have been through enough and if Raven isn't talking then they won't" we all sigh in unison when my stomach growled, I checked my watch "s**t it's 9pm, let's check on the girls and get something to eat" I closed down my computer and picked up the paperwork I have on Leila placing them in a folder and going to a lockable cabinet, once locked we walked to Leila's office, we could hear them giggling when I knocked I heard a sweet soft voice "come in" as I opened the door her scent engulfed me I was in a daze when we walked in "hey baby" she said as I walked towards her "have you eaten yet?" i kissed her forehead as she nodded "yes Isabel organised food for us, have you finished your work?" she asked as her eyes sparkled at mine "yes" she kissed my knuckles which was on her shoulder "well we have another 20 minutes or so left, so I'll see you in bed" I pouted at her which caused everyone else in the room to go into fits of laughter, she giggled "I'm in my zone baby just let me finish this up and I'll be there soon" I lent down and kissed her lips, I didn't like going to bed with out her, I craved her every second of the day so this was going to hard "Paul, Lucas game of pool?" I asked as they were still laughing at my pout.

Leila's P.O.V

Once the boys left we could finish off our party plan "o.k ladies, so we have our colour scheme, our lay out of the backyard" I pulled out our drawing of the yard "Isabel are you sure your good with the layout" I looked at Isabel her face was gleaming as she nodded "good, tomorrow you can sort a guest list out of who you want here, we will need to get the o.k from your dad before we can send invites out, I'll talk to Lucian about security, Raven you and I will organise caterers, marquee's tables and chairs," Raven nodded as she checked her phone "Leila" Isabel spoke in a soft tone "thank you so much" she leapt over my desk hugging me tightly "its all goods Iz, what kind of sister would I be if I didn't help you" I saw pain cross through Raven's eyes as she abruptly stood "excuse me" before I could say anything she ran from the room "what's wrong with her?" Isabel questioned, I shrugged and started putting everything away.

I sat down on my bay window seat which was white Cushion and had Champagne Pink and Glacier blue Cushions I pulled the Royal Pink throw over me while I lent back on the wall looking at my new office, satisfied that Lucian knew what I needed for my space, I traced my finger on the wains coating that surrounded three quarters high on my wall painted Envy Blue. The decor of my office was simple with sweet tone of pink and blue. My desk was white and a semi circle shape my computer was on one side which allowed me to have space to work on. I was amazed that this man who truly loves me could do something as simple as creating a space for me to cement me in his life and I couldn't tell him the truth about who I was. This is my inner fight with myself, this is my duty to my pack if I didn't see this through those that perished that night wouldn't be avenged, my dad my sisters their deaths would mean nothing. I know I can defeat Aureus on my own with out Lucian but whether I want to is another story. I laid back and closed my eyes drifting to sleep that I didn't feel myself being lifted but I knew by the warming tingles that it was Lucian. He placed me down in bed lying next to me pulling me close to him.

After training the girls and I went back to the pack house and had breakfast, bacon, waffles, eggs, salmon and sausages, It was delicious "we'll meet in twenty in my office, Isabel I have asked your mum to help aswell, she has organised for us to go to 'LaLa dress boutique' on Thursday for dress fittings, once we finalise the guest list 'Mystique Stationary' will print up and send out the invites overnight we need that done by today at 4pm, I sent through the design you wanted so they are just waiting on the names" I spoke while shoving the last piece of bacon in my mouth, I turned to Raven "are you o.k you kind of left in a hurry lastnight" she smiled at me before nodding. We left to have showers and get ready, I decided on more comfy clothes wearing a simple white t shirt and pale blue denim jeans, I had just tied up the laces of my converse shoes when I heard a knock on my door "come in" I call out before sitting up on the bed seeing Raven at the door "oh hey" I said motioning her to come in "I'm sorry about last night" she said in a faint voice "when you called Isabel your sister, I remembered the girls then I remembered that night and I had to get out of here before I" I could see her struggling and I grabbed her hugging her so that the pain of her memories wouldn't take over "ssssh it's o.k Raven" she shook her head "I tried I did try Leila, but I was over run by lots of wolves, then that bastard ripped my spine and I couldn't move" I sat there listening to her this is the first time she has spoken about that night and although I want details I don't want her to succumb to pain and tears. "Cindy, Samantha and Georgia were amazing Lei, they defended themselves and protected Lucy and Penelope to the death, they fought and fought, I was so proud of them and I know you, Jana and Alpha would be proud" I held my eyes tight to stop myself from crying "Thank you Raven, to hear how brave they were to end helps a lot" she lifted her head "I'm sorry I wasn't strong enough to save them" I cupped her face in my hands "don't you ever say that, It's not your fault Raven, we never blamed you and we never will Raven" she hugged me "come on we have work to do" she stood and wiped her face taking in deep breaths, I saw her stand a little taller hoping that a weight has been lifted off her shoulders.

We reached my office where Isabel was waiting outside for us "guys o.k?' she asked with raised eyebrows we both nodded and went inside, I sat behind my desk, turned on my computer when Isabel handed me papers I looked at her "My guest list there's 150" both Raven and I were shocked Isabel saw this and lifted her shoulders "what?" asking as she sat there watching us, I skimmed through the papers at least she put them in pack orders the last page was titled 'Crescent Moon' I looked at the names before turning to her "Crescent Moon" Raven pulled the paper from my hands reading the names "What we are family now so your family is my family, Raven, you, Trin and Tristan are not on there because you are part of our pack and they are part of Lincoln's but you will already be here anyway" We smiled at Isabel as she looked down twiddling her fingers "Izzy, you o.k?" I asked looking at her "Mmhmm, I just hope Trey will come and I find out he's my mate" my jaw dropped while Raven mouthed What! Trey! "Izzy, I didn't realise you knew him that well" she looked at me with giddy eyes, "Well we have kept in contact, we talk every night, nothing really romantic but I really like him and I just want to know whether its because of our mate bond or whether he's just a genuine friend" I smiled at how she spoke about my best friend. I pushed the speaker button on my phone and called Beta Jeremiah "Hello Jeremiah speaking" I heard from the speaker "wow very formal uncle Jeremiah, um I have Isabel and Raven here and you are on speaker" he cleared his throat "Leila is every thing o.k?" I could hear a slight worry in his voice as I giggled "Yes, Isabel is turning 18 and this Saturday we have organised a birthday party for her, she would like to invite Trey, Raymond, Briar and Melissa" he coughed but sounded like he choked on something "Well, I guess seeing as the girls were going that is fine, as for the boys they are away at the moment on business" I saw Isabel become deflated "Beta Jeremiah when they check in please let them know they are invited and the Blood Moon pack will have guest rooms set up for them, we will also organise their attire for them" Jeremiah once again cleared his throat due to me using a more authoritative voice "Yes of course Al-Leila, They will check in on Thursday they should arrive Saturday evening. Is there anything else you need from us" I squinted thinking before I lent in "Yes, if you could spare a few warriors to help towards security it will be much appreciated, I know you and the pack are being diligent with what's happening but I would really appreciated the extra precautions here" I hoped Isabel wouldn't notice the alpha-beta conversation happening at this very moment "consider it done Leila, I will talk to you once its finalised" after getting what we wanted I spent a few minutes talking to him and then I spoke to my mum.

"Once Alpha Edward and Lucian sign off on the guest list I will email Mystique Stationary the list, people will need to RSVP by Thursday so we have clear numbers-" we were interrupted by a knock "Come in" I call out and as the door opened we saw Luna Celeste enter "morning ladies" she said walking in, Raven stood and pulled the seat out for Celeste "Oh, Thank you Raven, but I believe I might just take a seat by the window, I am only here as back up, this is of course our future Luna's planning. Carry on" she said as she sat down smiling at us "Raven can you contact the caterers to discuss the food, now Isabel with this many people we could do a formal sit down meal In the Marquee, 3 courses should suffice but we should still have canapes going around the main areas" Isabel nodded as I turned to Raven "We will need options for three course meals and a list of canape's, Luna could you organise flower arrangements" I handed her our design she smiled proudly "of course, dear" I turned back to the girls and handed out their assignments and as they stood I looked up "I will check to see how much you have accomplished by 4, this party will be successful come hell or high water" Luna Celeste walked to my desk "I do believe we have a new Luna of the Blood Stone Pack, and my dear I couldn't have picked a more better Luna" she held my hands in hers and kissed them before departing. I heard a knock but before I could answer the door opened and Lucian was standing in the door "can I come in?" he asked with only his head inside, I nodded as I stood up, he walked straight to me and lifted me up placing me on the edge of my desk pulling my legs apart devouring my lips "I miss you" he said before kissing down my jaw line, I wrapped my legs around his waist pulling him into me grinding in his crotch, he thrusted his hip to me earning him a moan. He pulled away from me I pouted my lips while he giggled "I hear the party planning is going well, mum is very impressed" he said as he sat in my chair pulling me on to him "yeah we are getting somewhere, hopefully it falls into place, while I have you" I lent towards my desk pulling the guest list to me handing them to him "guest list for your approval and I have also asked Jeremiah to send a few warriors to help with security" I saw him raise his eyebrows "First Fire Stone and Vengence Stone will not be coming, my father believes they have aligned with Valynik but I agree and allow for the rest to be invited, as for Beta Jeremiah in future could you please run these security situations with me before asking another pack to help with security" he handed the papers back, I lent into him kissing him oh god I have missed him today, I pulled away "right I have to get these names sent to Mystiques, how about you and I have dinner alone tonight" he smiled at me as we stood "Leave it up to me my love, just be ready by 6 pm"
