My Alpha, My Pack

I walked out of my ensuite wrapped in a towel rummaging through my drawers for my pajama shorts and sports bra, we have been in this town for two weeks and for the past three nights i have been overheating, mum was unsure why as i am not yet 18 so i shouldn't be showing signs of heat. I quickly get dressed and throw on a t -shirt when mum walks in "Sweet heart its getting late and you have your first day of school tomorrow" i scrunch my nose, "aw c'mon mum, one more week and i swear, i will be the most amazing student ever!" my mums ocean blue eyes sparkled as she smiled "Sweet heart, we have discussed this, one week off to get your bearings about you and school" just then my phone rang, i smile when i see the caller ID, "Hello" i answered the phone i could hear both my best friends trying to talk at the same time, Mum let out a giggle before closing my door, i laid back on my bed. Trey talked about what he's been doing in regards to his duties as Future Beta and Raymond spoke about his duties as Master Gamma, i was sad because unlike my besties who i haven't seen in four years, I also have no one to help me with duties as an Alpha although mum does make up for it in fight training, I guess its good being trained by a former Zeta, dad often called mum his Warrior Queen and our Luna. I was outside on my balcony when mum interrupted "Sweet heart, its after midnight you have school" she kissed my forehead and lowered her face to the phone "Goodnight boys" she smiled as she heard both of them calling 'good night' out to her. "You couldn't convince her for another week aye" Raymond called out "Nope, she's right i should get going" Raymond yelled "goodnight" so loud i thought i would need hearing aids. "Leilei - " i could hear the calm tone of Trey "please be careful, you are in the epicentre of wolves in that town, 5 packs surround that town, one of them being the most powerful and strongest pack on the eastern coast, just keep a low profile, be aware and keep your eyes open at all times o.k! I Love you Leilei, Night" i walk back inside, "I love you too, and i promise i will be safe, goodnight my egg burger" before i could hang up i heard this boisterous loud laughter and the words "shame bro". I put my phone on my night stand and closed my curtains, i laid in bed and stared at the picture of my family, before i dozed off i prayed to the moon goddess Please let me sleep for one night.....  I could feel the pull of the dream pulling me further and further until i was where it always starts I was racing my bestf riend Trey Smith through the forest jumping over fallen logs, crunching leaves and twigs, leaping in and out of trees all the while trying to find a quicker way to get to the finish line. I was fast but he was just a little bit faster, "C'mon LeiLei keep up" I heard Trey chuckling just ahead of me, it annoyed me i thought about throwing a branch at his head, I smiled at the thought of him falling to the ground and eating my dust as i ran past him. The clearing was just ahead i could see the sunlight shining brighter, as we both leapt through the tree line I could hear them all cheering, our friends and my younger sisters, i looked towards them my little sister Lucy jumping up and down holding our baby sisters' Penelope little hand, their light brown curls dangling by their necks. "Its now or never Leila", i said to myself as i gripped my hands into balls of fists and started to sprint faster and faster now both Trey and I were neck and neck as we slammed through the ribbon falling to the ground. "I won!" Trey frantically called in between deep breaths, i rolled to my back trying to take in deep breaths, my legs and arms were too sore to move, i was too tired to argue when i felt two little bodies fall on top of me "No Leilei did" a small but firm voice called out "by the tip of her nose" little Penelope giggled as crawled directly to my face and gently touched the tip of my nose, I kissed her finger and smiled. I sat up looking around "Who cares who won Trey, its all for fun" i tapped Penelope and Lucy to get up so i could stand when our sister Cindy came running towards us "Leila, mum and dad want to see you, Trey and Raymond in the pack office ASAP! Georgia and i will get the kids back home" Cindy sounded a little worried that the three of us looked at each other and ignoring how tired and sore we were we sprinted towards the Pack house. We got to the door and could hear the muffling sounds, Trey was the first to talk "Wonder whats going on?" he quietly opened the door to the pack house and we each shoved each other through the door. The pack house is where the heads of the pack lived, My dad Colton Black was the Alpha, My mum Jana was our Packs Luna and I was the oldest of 6 daughters and soon once I phased into my wolf at 15 i would begin my training as Young Alpha, people who were not from our packs or allies to us thought dad was weak because he couldn't sire a son but he said that our pack was the strongest because we would have the strongest Female Alpha ever born to any pack and he would be proud to have any of his daughters Alpha to the Crescent Moon Pack, the eight of us lived on the main floor. Dads' Beta and second in command, also his best friend Jeremiah Smith his wife Lucille and their children lived on the second floor which was split into two apartments, Trey their son, my best friend will be the packs Master Beta, he would take over from his Dad either when his dad died or he handed over the position. Dads' Gamma, Aaron Jones and his wife Brianne with their children also lived on the first floor, their son Raymond will be Master Gamma for our Pack, the three of us were nicknamed the Triplets, we were born on the same night minutes apart and have been inseparable since birth. We started walking towards the back of the house where the office is when the door flung open, there standing in front of us was a distraught Female Gamma her short blonde hair bounced as she stood upright wiping what i thought were tears and looked at us "Children, they are ready for you!" she stood to the side as we entered, Raymond stopped in front of his mum with a concerning look, Brianne looked at her son and forced a smile on her face rubbing his shoulders closing the door as she left. The three of us stood in front of the desk, Alpha Colton was seated in his chair, Luna Jana on his left, Gamma Aaron on her Left and Beta Jeremiah to the Alpha's Right all looking at us with concern and worry which made us uneasy. "Whats wrong?" I asked trying to read my dads face. "Episilon Karter has sent our Deltas' back with word that Aureus continues to force his way through the territories and claiming them as his, he is appointing himself as King of Wolves of the North, we have sent scouts to check our territory and i have asked Zeta Rodney to prepare our warriors for battle" he got up from his chair and walked towards us "We have decided to hold a Blood Oath Ceremony tomorrow, when the moon is at its highest peak, a very old and sacred ritual will be performed after which you three will be introduced as our future leaders, you three have trained in your human form to fight and protect our pack so i know i can depend on you to help rebuild and protect our pack" i was staring at dad but i couldn't understand what he was saying, "We haven't phased yet, we can't! Wait i don't understand!!" "Aureus is coming here to either claim the Crescent Moon Pack under his rule or to decimate us, as Alpha I will not bow to him but i will not have him decimate my Pack, we have come up with a plan to save as many as we can and with help from our many friends and allies we may be successful but our pack needs leaders to lead them and that's where you come into play, you will report to Gamma Aaron and he will instruct you on your duties and your training" dad stood up "that is all" i finally looked at all of them, there was worry and concern they were trying to hide under their smiles, instead of leaving i stepped forward and grabbed dads' hand "Wait, if we are leaders to lead our Pack, where are you guys plan on being???" I already knew the answers, i knew by the look on Trey and Raymond's faces that thought never crossed their mind. Dad stood there stunned then looking at mum and his friends for help, they could only shrug their shoulders, there was silence. Beta Jeremiah was the first to talk "I told you, this wouldn't work Alpha, she is way too intelligent to have the wool pulled over her eyes" i quickly looked at Beta Jeremiah, then at Gamma Aaron, then my Mum finally to my dad. Dad took a deep breath then he sat on his desk "Our Deltas' have reported to us that Aureus is cruel and brutal, often displaying it in front of the whole Pack, he assassinates elders and pups before displaying the torturing of the leaders, killing them one by one in front of the Alpha before murdering the Alpha himself, if afterwards the pack shows resistance they are put to death, now my darling Sweet pea with all of this information what am i going to do" i looked at Trey and Raymond never letting go of his hand , my heart is filling with pain i almost cry "As our Alpha you will ensure the safe escape of our pack, As my dad you will sacrifice yourself to protect your family".... The scene is changing, I'm trying to hold the vision of him for as long as I can but the smoke starts on the edges and slowly fills the whole picture. I'm now in a new scene, I can hear yelling giggles and laughter, I'm now on a stage. Blood Oath Thank god i'm wearing a ceremonial gown i thought to myself, i had gone for a run after dinner but i was almost late so I couldn't go back to the pack house for fresh clothes. Dad wasn't overly happy, mum just giggled at him, she looked radiant in her dress a tight fitting Emerald green  velvet dress with a plunging neckline straps to her neck so her back was bare, black stilettos she also wore her ceremonial diadem it was so beautiful, my dad had it made when they got married, Gold and Platinum enter twining together in the centre higher then the two metals sat a Blue stone to represent Mums old Pack Blue Moon Pack and dangling at the bottom that sat on her forehead was a crescent moon. Her and both Female Beta and Female Gamma stood to our right to our left was Chief Red Hawk of the Tawoomba Tribe and Sister Mafalda of the Sister's of the Moon Coven in front of us was a small table that had the Sacred Chalice on it. The crowd was full of our pack only those 15 years and over were present as the Blood Oath was a ritual held only those of higher ranks and positions, this was special as we are underage and haven't shifted yet but also dad had invited the tribe and coven to not only be present but also participate. Samantha my 8 year old sister explained that many many moons ago our pack, the tribe and the coven would perform this ritual to bind all of them together and to the land taking a blood oath to protect each other from all evils and enemies, we didn't understand why we would do this old ritual now but we had to trust our leaders and the Moon Goddess. The crowd stopped talking as Alpha Colton, Beta Jeremiah and Gamma Aaron step on stage to take their places, Alpha stands behind the Chalice while the other two stand behind their sons'. "Welcome Crescent Moon Pack, we have gathered to witness a new beginning for our Pack, as you are aware we are under threat from an enemy that can defeat us and as your leader, your Alpha!, Beta Jeremiah, Gamma Aaron and myself have taken drastic steps to ensure our Packs safety and future -" dad looked towards Red Hawk and Mafalda "Those that know our history knows that this Blood Oath Ritual was performed many years ago with our allies and our friends, Tawoomba Tribe and Sister's of the moon coven, this ritual binds the leaders of now and our future leaders to the tribe and coven and them to our pack, we will protect them and our land and they in turn will do the same for us-" he looks back to the pack "We each take a blood oath but also add to our sacred chalice Water that runs between our boundaries, Earth from our lands, Fire and Wind binding all that we are here on earth and in the spirit world to each of us. Our Luna will bring the water to the chalice" I watched as mum brought the jug of water my sisters' collected from the river that divided our boundary from the tribe and coven "Leila Black Please step forward" Trey and Raymond who held my hands gave them a squeeze before letting me go, I walked towards my Alpha and gave my mum a quick look, she smiled back at me, i held my hand as dad picked up the ceremonial blade with one hand while holding my hand with the other "Leila Black do you pledge your love, your life and your loyalty to the crescent moon pack, Will you lead them with honour and Truth and put the pack above all else, Will you give your Mind, Body and Soul to their protection and the protection of our land." Alpha placed the blade across my palm "I pledge I will give my everything to our Pack, Alpha" he pressed the blade down and pulled, my hand opened from the cut i could see the blood, i closed my hand to a fist and squeezed until drops of blood dripped into the chalice "With your blood I now bind you to your oath" before i could turn mum was there holding a bandage over my hand taking me to the side, I watched as Beta Jeremiah, Trey, Gamma Aaron and Raymond did their Oath which was a little different they also pledge to give their life and also to protect, support and serve their Alpha with compassion, honesty and love when they finished their blood oath they stood next to me. "Now i ask Chief Red Hawk to come and add Earth and his blood oath" Chief Red Hawk tipped the Earth in and spoke his own words "I, Chief Red Hawk of the Tawoomba Tribe vow to protect our lands from intruders, my blood with your blood will bind a protection between us, we are your people, you are our people" i couldn't help noticing that he was staring at the three of us while he took his oath. "Sister Malfalda please bring the fire and wind" she walked with such grace, there was always a magical aura about her, Lucy our 6 year old sister said that Mafalda was the strongest witch of the North and that she could defeat anyone but unless her ancestors give her permission she was not allowed to use her magic for any one else's battles, only if they break the laws of nature, Mafalda opened her palm and blinked there in the middle of her palm was a flame, my eyes were wide of amazement so was Raymond and Trey's i saw Trey mouth Cool as she drop the flame into the Chalice then addressed the crowd "I am Mafalda elder sister of the Sister's of the Moon Coven with my blood i take an honest and true oath to protect all of our lands as far as nature will allow, I promise to be a safe haven for the pack and tribe, a mentor, an ally, I vow i will protect your people as our people from anyone who tries to harm them' after dad finished her blood oath she clicked her fingers we could hear the water and blood swirl with the earth, i looked at Raymond "Woah she created both fire and wind". Alpha cut his palm and as his blood dripped in "With my Blood, Blood of the Alpha I bind this oath to us all" Mum wrapped his hand, held the Chalice as he dipped his finger in and drew a crescent with the liquid on us all symbolising our Oath to each other and the Pack. Mum took the Chalice, Female Gamma took the stand away so that we could be Introduce "Crescent Moon Pack may i introduce to you your Future Leaders Master Gamma Raymond Jones, Master Beta Trey Smith and I am extremely proud to introduce Young Female Alpha and my daughter Leila Black" before the crowds erupted in cheers both Beta and Gamma howled which in turn the rest of the pack howled too. Dad picked me up and twirled me around "Sweet Pea i am so proud of you" he gave me a big hug and kiss as we were turning i could see female gamma smooching Raymond and Female Beta hugging Trey. He placed me down as mum handed him a box "Now, I did intend on giving this to you when you first shifted but this is a blood oath ceremony so you could have it now" he handed me but box, i opened it, it was a beautiful necklace with a crescent moon and a blue stone dangling like a star, "Dad i love it, its beautiful" i handed it to him so he could put in on me, I was getting dizzy and sore cheeks from all the hugs and kisses, i pulled Trey and Raymond down the stairs and we hid underneath it. We sat there staring at each other "Do you feel any different?" Raymond asked both Trey and I shook out heads and we fell over laughing when we got interrupted "Young Female Alpha, Master Beta and Master Gamma, may we have a word" we fell silent but crawled out from underneath the stage, both Mafalda and Red Hawk were standing in front of us mafalda spoke first "We would like to present these gifts to you, as a token of respect and love, the task you have ahead will be long and hard but know we will always be there to offer protection, love and support" Raymond opened his first, Trey and i proceeded next, they had given us friendship bracelets made from Tawoomba deer fabric, they had our initals T.L.R on one side and B.A.G on the other side, the chief's daughter stitched a wolf on each end and Mafalda used a sacred crystal to create a crescent moon clasp. The boys lunged to give Mafalda a kiss to thank her which i am sure i saw her blush they turned to red hawk poor man thought they would kiss him quickly stuck his hand out to shake it after i placed my hand out to Red Hawk but he pulled me in to an embrace "You will always be our true Alpha young one" he pulled me back and looked at Mafalda who embraced me and whispered in my ear "May all our ancestors watch over you, sweet child" Trey and Raymond looked confused at the exchange i had with them and we stood there watching as Red Hawk took the Chalice from Alpha, Raymond's eyes widened as we watched our Alpha bow. "Now children its time for you three to go back to the pack house" a voice suddenly spoke behind us, we spun around to see our mums standing behind us, before we could argue Female Gamma pulled Raymond towards her "before you try to argue with us-" all three of us are being guided away from the crowd towards the stage "you maybe our future leaders but you are not leaders yet, and as your mothers-" our mums stop and turn us to face them "we still have the authority to send you home" obviously we still wnt to argue with them but we know it wouldn't work, we kiss them and start walking towards the stage when dad stops us "I am so proud of all three of you" he said  hugging the boys then he pulls me into his side "Promise me, you three will always look out for each other, protect each other, be honest and love each other" he looked at each of us in the eyes as we nodded in agreement, we saw him lift his head to look at his Beta and Gamma before speaking again "I have had the privilege of leading this pack with two of the greatest and strongest men i have ever met, who just happen to be my best friends, they have always been there for me, spoken the truth even i didn't want to hear it, they are my voice of reason. Its been my greatest honour to serve with them" tears were filling my eyes when we heard "The honour has always been ours, Alpha!" we turned to see Beta Jeremiah and Gamma Aaron standing next to him, they quickly hugged dad and their sons before retreating back to the dance floor, we saw Female Gamma Brianne being spun and pulled in to an embrace by Gamma Aaron and then kissed, Beta Jeremiah had lifted Female Beta Lucille up in the air and started kissing her as he lowered her. "Believe in the pack and each other-" dad said before turning to me "Sweet Pea, I am always proud of you and will always love you, live and love as much as you can Sweet Pea and remember I am always with you" before he could speak mum was behind him "Colton darling, they need to get back to the pack house and i would like to dance with the Alpha" dads eyes started to sparkle which only ever happen when mum was with him, he smiled and nodded "I am the Alpha but only my sweet Warrior Queen could ever command me and i bend at her Will, Good night boys-" he picked me up to an embrace almost felt like he was crushing me and a kissed both my cheeks, "Good night sweet pea" this was a goodbye not a goodnight. We started walking but Trey pulled both Raymond and I to the stage "C'mon lets stay and watch for a bit" he said crawling under the stage, Raymond knelt down "We have to go back to the pack house, our mums said" Raymond looked at me for confirmation i looked at the dance floor watching my parents dancing, they look so happy, so in love, i looked at both the boys, Trey had his face out of the opening "Half an hour won't hurt, the Omega's are there and Gamma Aaron placed a couple of guards at the house so we should be fine" Raymond shook his head, he never enjoyed breaking the rules or disobeying his mum "If you say so" he mumbled, as i sat to watch the dancing "Well, I am Young Female Alpha so take it as an order from you future Alpha" we laughed as we watched our parents....... No! no,no,no please.....I know whats coming.... We heard the howling first, We saw our parents turn towards the howling then we heard Growling coming from the tree line surrounding the training field then we saw the red eyes moving forward slowly, but surely. My eyes are pinned to my parents as they both turn and it looks like they are staring directly into my eyes, we saw our pack shifting and being attacked from all directions when my dad mouthed "Run!!!" New Scene, its pitch black at the beginning but i know we are running, As we exit the forest near the pack house, the lights are still on, we are sprinting when we hear screams that sounded like Melissa and Briar, we suddenly stop I turn to the boys "Go! help them I will check the house and make sure everyone got out" before i go Trey grabs my hand "We need to stay together" I yank my arm "No, you need to go and help them, NOW!" i scream as i sprinted to the house. My sisters' Cindy and Georgia are strong, they are fierce fighters they will keep our sisters' Samantha, Lucy and Penelope safe I know it. I was running so fast i didn't see the blood in the entrance way and slipped that's when i saw her, Warrior Faith in her human form naked lying in a pool of her own blood, she put up a fight as i saw bodies of men i didn't recognise, i saw Omega Ron lying on top of a man with part of his back missing after being ripped from him, i could imagine him fighting to protect the kids, all the omega's were given training as they are the ones with the pups, mum said that Ron would of made a great warrior. I slowly walked into the house, i was hit with the overwhelming smell of blood, bodies were scattered everywhere, I walked towards our lounge and suddenly stopped at the sight! "NO!! no, no not my sisters'" i dropped to the ground crawling towards them Bossy Cindy, Fire Cracker Georgia and Graceful Samantha lying dead, holding weapons with blood on them, their necks all ripped, i pulled them into my arms crying out loud rocking them, then i saw them behind the three i held, holding each other so tight that what ever wolf took their lives only ripped half their necks, my cry got louder as i reached for them "No, my Sweet Princess Lucy -" unlike the older three her eyes were shut tight, I pulled both her and our Sweet Angel Penelope to my chest "I should have been here, I should have protected you, This is all my fault please Forgive me" then i heard it the growls behind me, these pieces of shits are still in my house, these a**holes who took the innocent lives of my beautiful sisters' I kissed my sisters' and stood as the red eyes were coming closer. Anger, Hatred, Heartache started to fill my body, my blood was boiling, I stood and faced the three wolves behind me "You killed my sisters' You BASTARDS -" I screamed at them "I'm going to RIP you apart, you f**kers" I was full of rage as i stared at them, my body felt like it was on fire, i started to feel this piercing pain as if my bones were breaking, something or someone inside me wanted to be unleashed and I couldn't control this urge, I couldn't control her, my wolf wanted out and kill these bastards in front of me, i couldn't stop the shift. Oh s**t i thought she's free. I lunged at the first wolf grabbing it with my teeth flinging it against the window, the wolf to my left lunged for me but i bent down pushed him up in the air jumped and clamped onto his neck flung my neck so hard he went flying through the window as i still had his throat in my mouth, i charged the other wolf knocking her to the ground, putting all my weight on her body, her head in my mouth I tore her head off before spitting it on the ground I then started to walk towards the first wolf as he got his balance but before we lunged at each other 2 wolves one dark grey and white the other a chocolate brown, i knew they were Female Beta and Female Gamma they came and attacked the last wolf before i could. I turned to my sisters' letting out a whimper when my mum ran in, in her human form, she let out a gut wrenching scream that i have never heard before, nor ever want to hear again as she ran to my sisters'. Trey and Raymond ran inside, when they saw the scene Raymond ran to mum while Trey fell to the ground, I slowly walked to mum and laid down by Georgia, I saw Trey looking around "Wheres' Leila?" I put my head up and howled loudly, My wolf was getting weak, instead of Rage She felt extreme sadness and loss. I felt my wolf letting go, going inward as i was shifting back to human form, the howling turned to a loud scream of pain the last thing i remember was hearing the Final Howl of our Alpha...... I Sat up screaming from my dream covered in sweat, mum came running in putting her arms around me as i sobbed "Why do i have to relive it mum" my cries got louder...... Someone's been in my room!!!!
