The Day After Drama

Leila's P.O.V

I wake up when the sun hits my face and sit up in Lucian's bed, I suddenly remember the events of the night before, my cheeks burn from embarrassment when I remember the dancing, then anger seeps in when I remember that Valynik was in the territory I grab my phone and text Trey Hey, keep me updated with what's happening, and tell my mum I love her xx he responded with in seconds Who do you think I am,? of course xx Jana said she loves you too and she'll call you later xx I read his message as there was a knock on the door "come in" I call out and the door opened as Isabel walked in with bags "Morning, Raven and I went to yours and grabbed some things for you, gotta say Leila you have got a great style" she smiled placing the bags on the bed, I awkwardly smiled "where's Lucian?" I almost whispered as Isabel walked towards the door "He's double checking our borders with our warriors and patrols teams, he said you are stay inside the house until he gets back" she rolled her eyes as she closed the door. I got up and realised I was still in my clothes from lastnight so I grabbed a bag to go through them picking my grey baggy tracks and white singlet and white sports bra, If I'm stuck inside i might as well be comfortable I grabbed my toilet bag and walked into the bathroom which is twice the size as my room, It was beautiful, there was a large window with white shutters underneath was a black claw bath, a walk in shower that had riverstone flooring, it had a rain shower head with wall jets again it was huge it took a whole wall. I turned the shower on and stripped before jumping in the shower, I could feel the cool water dripping down my body and it felt so good, I got lost in my thoughts that I didn't see Lucian walk into the bathroom that is until I turned the shower off and saw him holding a towel "you know that's a bit creepy" I took the towel and wrapped it around me as he smiled lustfully at me "not when your mine, its not" he lent down and kissed my forehead, "did you sleep well" he asked raising his eyebrows I wiped the mirror looking in it "it was better than other nights" I tried smiling but even though it was the nightmare was always present its something I will never get rid of, he wrapped his arms around me and kissed my neck, I felt the tingles instantly and tried to not shiver at his touch "come down when your dressed my love and have breakfast" I nodded as he walked out leaving me alone. I dried my hair after getting dressed, pulling a grey matching hoodie on I went downstairs. The Pack house was amazing, modern with a hint of contemporary, dark mahogany floors with light beige walls it was definitely elegant, there were wings of the house which belonged to each family, the main part was for the Alpha and his family, I made my way to the kitchen where Luna Celeste was helping some of the omega's preparing breakfast, Celeste smiled at me "can I help?" I asked smiling at Celeste " can you take these out sweetie" she handed a tray of sausages and steak and pointed me in the direction of the dining room, I walked through the swinging doors and entered a room with a long antique mahogany table with the same style of chairs except it had red velvet cushions. Alpha Edward was at the end with empty chairs on either side of him, Lucian was sitting on his right side, Isabel on his left side, Paul and Raven sat next to her and then Lucas. I placed the tray down on the table as I walked to Lucian who stood and pulled the chair out for me and I sat down, smiling at Raven encouraging her to relax "did you sleep well Leila?" I snapped my head to Edward "yes, Alpha" relying to him quietly, he smirked "please call me Edward, we are practically family-" his eyes shifted to the door as Luna Celeste walked through with omega's carrying the rest of breakfast. "Raven, when shall we beging training?" Edward asked as he grabbed some bacon and eggs from a tray handing it to his Luna before Raven could answer Celeste clicked her tongue "darling, we are eating can this not wait until afterwards, I'm sure Leila doesn't want to be bored with conversations on pack business" I sipped my juice a little disappointed at having to keep up the human facade, Raven watched me before speaking "actually Leila will be involved in training and getting stronger to fight with us" I heard low growls and hisses from around the table, this annoyed not only myself but also Raven which you could tell with her disgusted look on her face as she looked at everyone "she may be human but she has trained since she was 4 in both hand to hand combat and weaponary, she may not shift but she has fought against wolves and kicked some ass apart from our leaders" I watched Lucian snap his head up at her "Beta Jeremiah?, Gamma Aaron? even the Alpha? In their wolf form?" I cringed slightly when I heard him refer to my dad hoping it went unnoticed Raven nodded her head with a smile "she held her own against all three of them but cockiness got in her way and she was taken down by our Alpha" she started laughing, I looked at my plate playing with my food not wanting to eat anymore, I could feel the tears rising and I was trying to push them down, Raven saw my reaction  quickly stopped laughing and looked around at the table before clearing her throat "Beta Jeremiah wants her to continue with training and believes that training with your pack warriors will help her become better" I could feel Edwards eyes sternly on me then he turned to Lucian "son, she is your mate it is your decision" Lucian nodded at his fathers words then turned to Raven "I'll train with her and if I think she can handle herself, I will pick a warrior for her to train against" I sat there getting mad does he really think I'm weak, well I'll show him, I'm Leila Black.

After breakfast we were called into the conference room by Edward, I sat in between Lucian and Raven Paul was next to her, while Isabel and Lucas were opposite us Lucian kept his hand on my arm drawing circles softly sending shock waves on tingles through my body "O.k" Edward began "our patrols have doubled and will be running the borders 24 hours a day, we are officially on Lockdown no one in no one out at least with out an escort, All she wolves will have escorts, any under the age of 18 will have pack warriors with them at all times, curfews are implemented the time for that is 8pm for all she wolves." I couldn't help but think all of this was extreme but i do not dare say anything, I look to Raven who has a straight face no emotions coming through, I hear Edward call out to Raven "Paul has said your pack Trains an hour in the morning and evening will add another hour in the morning, the wolves that are hanging around may attack, if they do they fight with intensity and ferocity, these wolves have no strategy so we will train with that mentality and also with weapons" I looked at Raven then to Lucian "Leila will train an hour in the morning with Lucian and an hour with me in the afternoon once Lucian gives the o.k she will then train with the Pack, Tristan and myself will be available to help with patrols and guard duty" I watched as Lucian smiled at Raven "If Leila isn't with me I would like you to guard her, I will need my pack warriors, Paul and Lucas to be available to the Pack" Raven let out a sarcastic sigh "Oh alright then, If I have to" we sat there giggling when Edward started talking "Great, we will have a Pack meeting to let the Pack know whats happening and our new rules, and to introduce Raven and Leila, Please dress appropriately" I continued to sit there with Raven when my phone buzzed, It was a text from Raymond Hey Lei, Dad is sending Delta;s and warriors out to try and Intercept Aureus's armies and intel, Just spoke to Tristan he and Trin are doing good, Lincoln seems to be keeping a good hand on stuff. How bout you and Raven?? xx I showed Raven my message than realised I hadn't even messaged them about how they are doing. I'm such a crap friend, I forwarded the message to Lucian and told him I was going to his room to ring Trinity and Tristan to see how they are doing.

Lincoln's P.O.V

Last night shouldn't have happened, my beautiful mate was hurting so much and I couldn't help her, I tried but she was so scared. After showing her to her room even though I wanted her with me, I knew I had to work out how to keep my love safe and my pack. Tristan laid with his sister while I had my top warriors guarding her room. I laid in bed for hours not being able to sleep when my door opened and saw her silhouette from the light in the hallway "Lincoln, are you awake" she whispered moving closer to me "Yes, my love. Are you o.k?" I tried sounding as calm as possible "Tristan left and I woke up, can I hop in with you?" she asked sitting on the bed, he looked at her with nothing but love as I pulled the blankets back, "I'll just put my boxers on my love" she let out a sweet giggle as she hopped in. I jumped back into bed wrapping my arms around her waist and pulled her to me snuggling her, we fit so perfectly together, I kissed her neck and laid back taking in her aroma and drifted off to sleep. When I woke up this morning she had already gone and I panicked before mind linking my warriors, they explained that she had left my room at 5am had a shower and met with Tristan, they have been at the training grounds training for two hours. I wasn't happy that she had left me but I guess training that time of day was normal for them, I went downstairs to have breakfast before doing some pack work, I could hear her giggling skipping up the driveway, I practically ran out of my office banging into the wall, Tristan has a confused look on his face probably wondering why I'm an i***t but I didn't care as there she was standing behind him wearing black tights and a white t-shirt "Morning Lincoln" she said as she took my hand "you have a beautiful territory, we went exploring" I glared at Tristan what was he thinking, he only smirked at me when Charlee arrived "morning lover" she said seductively which grossed me out, I gagged like I was about to puke she slapped me as I laughed but Tristan just glared at me before he lent down to peck her lips, Trinity giggled to let us know she was still there, I looked down at her "how about you go have a shower and we'll go talk to the pack and let them know what's happening, and explain how training will go" she giggled again and tip toed to kiss my cheek. I stood there and watched her falling more and more in love with her, I turned to Marcus and Leith letting them know that they were to follow I almost forgot that Tristan was still standing next to me "you o.k?" I asked him as he shook his head wrapping his arms around Charlee and left.

Lucian's P.O.V

I got out of the shower and dressed in my jeans and black shirt, I heard Leila swear as I walked out of the bathroom "you alright there baby?" I stopped as I saw her standing in the mirror looking at her two piece Gemstone green outfit she looked in the mirror at me and nodded "yeah, just got my necklace caught, is this o.k?" she asked turning to me, I held my heart and took a deep breath in engulfing all of her beauty "your beautiful my baby" she giggled as I moved quickly to her picking her up kissing her "although you could take this off" I said tapping her friendship band she quickly clasped it and with a slight quiver in her voice she slipped out of my embrace holding it "no. never. this is my connection to my family" I looked at Leila knowing that the boys have the same one and part of my was jealous, my eyes softened as I lifted her face "you look beautiful, even if you wore a potato sack you will still be the most beautiful girl in the world" she smiled at me and I kissed her again. We met everyone down stairs, I saw Raven at the bottom next to Paul, I looked at her from top to bottom she glared at me "I know I'm hot buddy but if you have forgotten I have a mate" she pulled Paul in front of her "and you have a girlfriend" she then pulled Leila to me, when I realised what she said I shook my head "Do you only wear Leather?" I asked with raised eyebrows she just smiled at me "Yes". Dad cleared his throat "we will walk out soon, Our Luna and myself followed by Leila, Lucian and Isabel, Paul and Raven and then Lucas, we will make our way up on stage, I will then tell the pack what is happening and what we will be doing including our alliances with the Moon Stone, Opal Stone and Red Stone Packs, as you know Fire Stone refused our alliance which is fine with me. Then Lucian you will introduce Leila and Raven and discuss our Training" we all nodded as we stood at the double door entrance, two Omega's opened it as we walked out to the stage, all of our Pack bowed as we walked past, I think Leila was uncomfortable as I felt her tense up I lent to her ear "they are showing respect my love" I whispered she looked up at me but she didn't smile at me she just said "bowing isn't a sign of respect Lucian, it's to make those in power feel high and mighty" she then flicked her head forward and I'm sure I heard a snicker behind me. We walked on stage and stood behind our chairs, we pulled the females chairs out for them and I had to giggle as I heard Raven complaining about having a chair pulled out for her especially as she has hands and is capable of seating herself, I saw Leila smiling as she sat, Dad walked to the microphone "Please have a seat. We have to announce that we have an enemy in our midst by the name Valynik who means to bring destruction and perverted intentions to our territories, from what we have gathered he attacks pups, young females and our elderly but for sinister reasons he targets young females and she-wolves. We are not sure if he has help or whether he remains in our territories but until we find him and destroy him we will be on complete lockdown, no one will leave or come in unless they have permission and are escorted. Young females and She wolves will need to remain in the Pack house boundary, each will have to escorted out of this boundary, all pups and young will no longer be attending school instead we have trusted tutors who will come and teach, those who are in college will attend on line courses we have already discussed with the college about this. Curfew will be implemented all young females and pups will need to home by 9 pm. Our patrols will double in size and we also have more teams available, Our pack warriors are also placed in teams for guard duties and escorting duties, they are also placed on a roster system. Now I will call my son up, Lucian" I looked up and saw him holding his arm to me, I stood and buttoned my jacket as I kissed Leila's forehead, I could many gasps from the crowd as I continued walking to the front "Good evening everyone, I would like to introduce to you my girlfriend and our future Luna Leila Black" I turned to Leila who went a pale white colour before awkwardly smiling standing and walking to me I wrapped my arms around her, she smiled at the crowd and waved, I looked out to the crowd and they bowed instantly when Leila grabbed the microphone "Nnnn-No Please don't bow I'm not a queen or any royal person so please don't bow, I'm not higher than you" I giggled at her mumbling and took the microphone "well there you go, No bowing to her or myself. I also would like to introduce Raven to everyone, she is the Zeta of the Crescent Moon Pack and Mate to my Beta Paul Judd, she will here to help hunt Valynik and also with training. Pack warriors are to meet Raven at the training grounds 5 am for an hour with Raven she will train you in their fighting style and with weapons, and all pups 8 years to 15 will train every second day with Raven and Leila, those 15 to 18 will train every other day with them" I look at Raven who was next to Leila to see if she wanted to add anything only for her to put her two thumbs up. I smiled as I turn to the pack "o.k lets all eat, training starts tomorrow" I guided Leila back to the table when my phone buzzed I checked the message You think all this training and protection will save your little Queen and her Pack, It won't!!!! He will bathe in their blood but not before I claim my sweet sweet Trinity xx I snarled as I forwarded to Jeremiah and Lincoln and showed dad trying to not attract Leila and Raven. Dad's face pursed with anger as he read the message "Lucian, we need to find this son of a b***h, for your sake and for Lincoln's" I nodded in agreement and received a message from Jeremiah Sounds like he's still hanging around, we are sending our Delta's to monitor your borders and we are still working on getting locations and such please keep Leila safe she is important, we wouldn't of left her with you if we didn't trust you. I am in constant contact with Lincoln for Trinity please pass that on to Raven so she stops bombarding me via mind link I have a Raven headache. I laughed loudly at that causing Leila to look at me weirdly.

After our Pack dinner we went inside, Lucas went straight to the chair in our games room to call Briar, Paul and Raven went to bed, Mum and dad went to their office while Leila went to get changed into comfier clothes. I went to the media room so that we can watch a movie, she walked in as Fast 9 started and curled up next to me, I giggled she looked up at me "what" I laid down on the couch pulling her on top of me "you call that comfier?"
