Episode 1
HAD NO LIFE White clouds drifted across the clear blue sky, yielding to the sun’s glare and allowing its warmth to radiate everywhere. Balloons and bubbles floated through the air to the strains of pleasant wedding music. Today was a momentous day for Rachel, the son of a wealthy man in Ay City, and his bride, Luna, the daughter of the Chef Rahi family from AA City. "Mom, why did you and Dad agree to this marriage? He is blind," Luna pleaded. "Shut your mouth!" her stepmother snapped. "Your sister cannot marry him, she is too beautiful and young. I don't want her life and reputation to be destroyed." "You hate me so much. Why, Mom?" "For f*****g sake, why don't you shut the f**k up! Do I really look like your mother? Go to the grave and dig her out!" Tears started streaming down Luna’s face. "You better stop crying before you destroy this make-up. The guests are already waiting. Come on so you can greet—hold your father's hand." There he was, sitting in a wheelchair. Luna’s father took her hand with visible hatred as they passed through the narrow aisle. The wedding music swelled. "Do you accept this woman as your wife?" the Pastor asked. Rachel replied with deep pride and arrogance, "Yes, I do." The pastor turned to Luna. "Do you take this man to be your beloved husband?" With tears in her eyes, she whispered, "Yes, I do." "Now you may kiss the bride." Luna was embarrassed. Because she believed he could not see, she had to bend down and make the first move. As their lips touched, Rachel bit her lip slightly and muttered a single word: "Disgusting." Everyone cheered for them. Luna’s father felt a twinge of guilt, but her stepsister just stood in the corner, laughing. By the time the bride and groom were in the car heading to their hotel room, it was getting late. Before Luna had even gotten into the car, tears were streaming down her face. Her stepmother, Clara, pretended to care. "Luna, it's okay, you're married now. It's a thing to be happy about, stop crying." Clara placed a hand on Luna's face to wipe her tears, but Luna shoved her hand away. Furious and embarrassed, Clara cursed her stepdaughter in her mind. The car moved slowly. The only sound was the noise from the road; the silence inside the car was suffocating. Luna didn't speak, and neither did Rachel. When they finally reached the hotel, Luna was exhausted. She slowly walked out of the car, while Rachel was helped out by his guards. They were taken to their room. Once the door was closed, the illusion shattered. Rachel spoke up. "Where do you think you are going to sleep?" "On the bed, of course." A dark laugh echoed in the room. "You dirty daughter of a pig, do you think you have made it in this f****d up life? Let me make it clear to you: you are going to sign a contract. This f*****g marriage can't work. Shut the f**k up, you petty brat, do you think I wanted to marry you in the first place?" In her anger, Luna shouted back, "I am not even the girl you wanted to marry! They made me marry you just to get rid of you!" "What did you say? Say it again!" "I said that—" She paused, realizing she had told the truth and was now in terrible danger. Rachel stood up from the wheelchair and walked purposefully toward her. "You... you are not blind? You can walk?" "Hahaha," he laughed at her shock. "Do you think I am stupid, you fool? Oh, that's why your father wanted to frame my dad—threatening that if I didn't marry you, he would release the naked pictures of my mom and dad." She broke down in tears. "Do you think I like you? You are a fool! I hate you! I wasn't supposed to marry you, it should have been my stepsister. But she ran away, and my stepmother forced me to marry you, or else she was going to kill my father and make my life a living hell." Laughing wickedly, he replied, "Do you think I care?" He hit her on the head so hard that she started screaming for help, and then he began to slap her. "You wanted to take my life back then? I will take yours too." "Please forgive me, I did not plan to do any of this to you! Please!" She begged for mercy, but it was too late. Two days passed. Rachel was in his office speaking with his father, Mr. Ben. "Dad, I think we need to look into the Rahi family's background. I think this man is responsible for my sister's death." Mr. Ben was furious. "I hear you, but you need to come home with your wife." It was getting late. Back at the house, Luna had prepared a lot of dishes for Rachel. She was nervous and scared, pacing back and forth by the window. Finally, she saw a black rollercoaster pull up. Her heart skipped a beat, and she ran back to her seat. He walked into the living room. She stood up to welcome him, but he ignored her. When she tried again, she saw a deadly, killing instinct in his eyes and swallowed hard. "I... I... I cooked for you." Silence. "I... I cooked your favorite dishes. Your maid already told me about your likes and dislikes. Sir... Rachel..." "Shut up! Do you wanna get beat up?" "What did I do again?" Tears started flowing freely from her eyes. "Your stupid tears won't work on me. Oh, now I remember why you cooked. Your dad and stepmom sent you to kill me." "It's not true! It's... it's—" She screamed in pain as Rachel shoved her backward. She fell hard down the stairs. He stopped in his tracks and looked at her with a fleeting moment of care, but then he remembered what she had said to him before. The hatred returned, and he walked away. She cried to herself. Her ankle was broken. She couldn't walk properly, but she managed to get up and limp to the master bedroom. He was already in the shower, so she just lay down on the bed. Minutes later, he stepped out of the bathroom with a towel. His hair was soaked, and his fragrance filled the air. She sat up quickly, wincing in pain, and stared at him for a long time. "You dirty thing, can you get your f****d up ass off my bed? You're sleeping on the floor." Still, she stared at him, briefly lost in his beauty. He shouted, "Am I not talking to a human? Am I that handsome that you cannot look away, or are your desires starting to affect you? Why don't you use a cucumber to satisfy yourself? You'll have to hold it today, then tomorrow I will buy you a lot of it, you slut." "I... I..." she cried softly. "Get out of that bed! You have the floor!" He turned off the light after putting on his nightwear. In the middle of the night, she was shaking and crying pitifully in her sleep. He stood up and turned on the light, only to see her muttering repeatedly. "I'm sorry, I'm sorry, don't kill me. It's not my fault. I... I was forced to do it. She threatened me, she said if I don't agree, my father's life will be in danger. I'm sorry sir, please!" she screamed. He held her tightly in his arms. "It's okay, stop crying." By mistake, his palm brushed against her injured leg, and her face contorted in pain. The next morning, she woke up to find herself lying on top of Rachel. She was scared and nervous, but as she stared straight into his face, she couldn't help but think he was truly handsome. "Get off me! Will you stare at me like this?" "I'm... I'm sorry, I did—" "It's okay, ok. Go get ready, we are traveling back to Ay." "Oh, yeah. Yes... I will go now." A black luxury coaster pulled up to a massive mansion in Ay City. The car door was opened by a bodyguard, and Luna and Rachel stepped out. Luna was incredibly nervous; she tried to stay calm, but the fear was written all over her face. "Rachel!" Mike, the child of Rachel's late twin sister, came running toward him with an angry pout. "You promised you would take me to a park, but you never returned like you promised." A warm smile appeared on Rachel's face. "I'm so sorry I went on a business trip. Please forgive me, my baby." "No way. Is this your wife? And I'm not a baby." He stared at Luna with disgust. "Yes, just for now." "Where is your Grandfather?" Rachel asked. Ignoring the question, Mike turned to Luna. "Beautiful lady, will you take me to the park next Tuesday? You really look good, you and my uncle look good. Perfect couple." He laughed. "Don't blame him, he's just being arrogant, but he's very nice." Just then, Rachel's grandfather walked in. "Son, what brings you here?" "Grandpa, stop asking questions you already know why I'm here." "Come in, sit, sit." Rachel's mother, Alla, frowned at him. "Son, you're really thin. Is this your wife feeding you well?" "Mom, stop it. She can't even take care of herself," Rachel replied. "Maid!" Grandpa called out. Suddenly, Luna snapped. "I want to go back home now!" she shouted. "Shut up!" Rachel barked. Without warning, Luna grabbed a knife from the table and stabbed Rachel hard in the chest. She turned and ran as fast as she could. The guards chased after her, cornering her. As she hid, her mind flashed back to when someone came into her life and destroyed it. A wicked smile spread across her lips. A dark part of her mind told her to get rid of all these people, and dangerous thoughts began to take root. "Take him to the hospital quickly!" Grandpa yelled. "I knew this girl was evil. Make sure you bring her here alive," Alla commanded. Two hours later, Luna was dragged into the sitting room. A heavy slap echoed through the space. "You b***h, if anything happens to my son I will get rid of you and your entire generation, I promise you," Alla spat before hitting her again. "Take her to the gang tone. Tie her up." The guards dragged her toward the door as Grandpa's voice followed them: "Make sure she confesses. No breaks for her." Two months later, Rachel was discharged from the hospital. He appeared calm on the outside, but a fire was eating him up inside. "Grandpa, what are we going to do with my sister-in-law?" Mike asked. "She's not my wife, Mike," Rachel said, stepping into the room. Shocked to see him, Mike stuttered, "Um... uncle, when did you arrive?" "Where is she?" Rachel demanded. "The gang tone. Let's go." When Rachel entered the gang tone, their eyes met, filled with mutual hatred. He could see the bloodshot defiance in her eyes. Blood dripped from fresh wounds across her face and body. "Old man, why is she bleeding so much?" Rachel asked. "She refused to confess, so they had to go a long way with her. She killed one of our men." "Luna, how dare you." "Ha, do you think I don't know what you plan to do to me, you slut?" Luna spat. "Just like you, you're the slut, Rachel!" she shouted back. "Do you think I don't know you're in love with that b***h you call your first love? You just married me to bring her out from her hiding place and to monitor my family! You want to blame my father for killing your twin sister. Ha, you got the wrong person, you fool. I will never forgive you!" A slap echoed in the room, making her face even bloodier. "I will make your life a living hell!" he shouted. "Hahaha," she smiled wickedly. "Do you think by marrying me you could get your f*****g revenge on my father?" He kicked her hard in the stomach. "You f****d up bitch." Laughing through the pain, she taunted, "It's really good that your sister died. Your first love will soon arrive—go to that b***h when you find out the f*****g truth, and then I am going to kill you so hard." "What did you say? Say it again!" She screamed, "It's good your f*****g sister is dead!" "You b***h!" He struck her so hard that she lost consciousness. "It's okay. You are only going to kill her," Grandpa warned him, pulling him back. Later that evening, Kara—Rachel's first love—finally arrived. "Oh sweetie, how is your health? Did that b***h hurt you again? Where is she? I can't take this anymore." "It's okay," he said, holding her tight. "She is in the gang tone." "Grandpa, no need for that. Take me to see her. I want to see her. Please baby, please listen to me, don't refuse," Kara pleaded. "Rachel, just take her," Grandpa agreed. Inside the gang tone, the air was thick with the metallic smell of fresh blood. Rachel stared at Luna's battered body and felt a flicker of sympathy. She was incredibly weak; her skin had turned ashen white. "Luna, what's going on with you?" Kara sneered. "Ha, you fool, do you think I don't know why you are back?" Luna rasped. "You came back after running away from him, and now you want to hold a special place in his heart? f**k all of you! And you, old jerk, you said I shouldn't have a break—why don't you just kill me?" "Mind your language, Luna, or I will forget that you are a lady and hit you like a man!" Rachel threatened. A wicked smile spread across Luna's lips. "Do you think I am scared of death, or of a young bastard like you beating me? You have already done that to me, did you forget?" "Luna!" he shouted, lunging forward, but Grandpa blocked his path. "Luna, what's going on?" Kara mocked. "Why have you changed so much? Is that why my brother really left you?" Anger surged through Luna's broken body. She reacted with lightning speed, lunging forward and using her head to smash into Kara's face. Kara's nose broke, bleeding heavily. A scream echoed through the gang tone. "Help me! Help me!" Kara wailed. "Luna, you have really crossed your limit," Grandpa said. "Guards, take Kara to the hospital now." "Dad, you know what? Take her there by yourself, I will get back to you," Rachel said darkly. "Please son, do not do anything stupid," Grandpa said before turning to leave. Luna started laughing loudly. Rachel stared at her, a killing instinct in his eyes. "So what? Trying to annoy him? What are you going to do to me? Kill me? Haha." He started hitting her in the face, then kicked her in the stomach. She started screaming, but he didn't stop until she collapsed onto the ground. Three weeks later, Luna was pulled from the gang tone and assigned to work in the massive mansion. She was starved and weak. "Luna!" Rachel shouted from the dining table. "Why are you not serving the food quickly? Are you dumb enough for this rubbish?" "Are you calling him rubbish?" Kara chimed in. "Shut your mouth you slut, daughter of a prostitute!" Luna fired back. "How dare you!" Kara raised her hand to slap Luna, but Luna stepped back to avoid it. Before Luna could turn away, she was grabbed and dragged straight back to the gang tone. "I am going to teach you a lesson you will never forget in your life," Rachel snarled. He removed the belt from his waist and started flogging her around the room. She kept crying and running, but he was faster. He flogged her relentlessly until she fell. When the belt struck her head, she screamed in agony. Desperate, she stood up, turned directly toward him, and ran into his arms, hugging him as tightly as she could. "I'm sorry, I'm sorry, please don't beat me again, please!" she sobbed. She was so bloody that she completely stained his crisp white shirt. Disgusted and furious, he violently pushed her onto the floor and walked out, locking the heavy door behind him. He gave strict orders to the guards outside. The next morning, Rachel was speaking with his grandfather. "Grandpa, I'm taking a break with Kara," he said. "We need to clear our misunderstanding." "It's okay, son, I understand." Two full days passed. Under Rachel's orders, they gave Luna no food or water. She was so weak that a mere push would have killed her. Rachel had just stepped out of the shower room, his hair still damp, when his phone rang. It was one of his guards. "Sir, she... she is not breathing." "What? Are you stupid?" Rachel shouted, panic suddenly lacing his voice. "Let nothing happen to her, I'm coming right now."
