Shivers traveled down my spine as I realized that my pups and I were in the bushes at the far end of the pack and that there was an active rogue attack taking place. I realized I didn’t actually know my way around this pack well enough to find someplace safe to hide. I had a bad feeling that we wouldn’t make it back to the packhouse in time. My gut instinct was telling me we were in trouble right now.
“We are in the bush just past the rose gardens. I have Liam and Layla with me.” Panic seeped through in my voice through the mindlink.
“Make your way towards the packhouse. I’m on my way. Get our pups to safety,” he commanded me.
