My Brothers Best Friend Is My Mate

The Fight

(Ross's POV)

'Duck!' I yelled at Ash through mind link.

She ducked down and I jumped onto her back she rushed up helping me get higher and fling off her onto a wolf. I tackled it to the ground and we were fighting as another wolf started to charge at me, but Ash leaped at it and pinned it down, then knocked it out. She isn't a killer, she refuses too, so sometimes her eyes go red since she's something called a 'True Alpha'. She's tough and it's impossible to beat her in battle. 

I was in so much awe at my mate that I didn't realize another wolf charging at me until Ash yelled 'Behind you!' Through mind link.

I quickly slid to the side and turned to see Ash lunge at a wolf which I recognized as Alpha Damien. He tried dodging her attacks, not fighting back, until he let her jump on him which was suspicious I knew he was up to something. I went to help Ash but was tackled by a wolf pinning me down and making me watch as Damien throws her off into a tree then sprinted to her and shifted. 

Some other wolfs joined him and shifted, they were trying to grab her, but she wasn't having it and neither was I.

I quickly rolled over now on top of the wolf as I slashed at its throat. I jumped up and ran to help my mate. I immediately went for the Alpha and slashed his throat with my claws. I turn to look at Ash to make sure she's alright. I see she shifted back, but for some reason her cloths are still on and intact and I know she can't change that fast. Maybe it's cause she's a true Alpha? I don't know but she's turned away covered in blood because she was close to me when I slashed his throat.

'Are you okay?' I ask concerned.

'Yeah I'm fine.' she whispers.

(Ash's POV)

'You i***t, your cloths!' Abby yelled at me.

'It's fine they won't realize, they'll think I just changed quickly.' I roll my eyes.

I look around to see all the casualties. 'All this over me...all these lives gone over me...was it even worth it to them?' I wonder.

'Of course it is, you're gonna be their Luna.' Cia tells me.

'Yeah, but they don't even know that!' I yell frustrated and block them out as they start to argue.

All the people from Damien's pack scatter out of our territory. I walk back to my house and into my room. I take a shower and wrap a towel around me and walk out to go to my closet and get dressed. 

I walk out and see Ross sitting on my bed and his eyes darken with lust as he sees me. He's in front of me in an instant, pinning me to the wall as he kisses me passionately. I wrap my arms around him and he bites my lip, asking for entrance. I immediately let him and he explores my mouth before trailing kisses down my neck until he gets to my sweet spot, making me moan in pleasure. I tangle my hands into his hair and pull him closer. 

His hands travel down my body and grip my thighs. I jump into his arms wrapping my legs around his waist, causing my towel to slide up. His hands start to explore my body as he lays me down on the bed hovering over me. He fondles me as I moan in pleasure, not wanting this to ever end, causing him to growl in delight.

I try to take his shirt off, but he pulls away making me whimper. "If we keep this up I won't be able to control myself." He says huskily as we're both panting.

"Okay." I whisper in understanding.

*Next day*

I'm getting ready to go to the funeral for the ones we lost. I'm getting ready on my own because Angel has been avoiding me. Apparently the guy that said she was her mate was lying, which means she doesn't have to leave and I was so happy, I thought she'd be too, so I wanted to go to the mall with her, but she didn't want to.

I dress in a black dress and black heals. I head down stairs and look for Flash, but I don't see him. I walk outside and head to the pack house on my own.

I felt bad for Brennen, he lost his sister in the battle. I feel so guilty, like it's my fault. After the funeral My family had dinner, but I wasn't hungry so they left without me and I just go to bed.

The next day, I didn't really try much to look good for school and I got up kinda late. Angel was still avoiding me and I really missed her. During lunch I went into the bathroom. I hear the door open and someone talking on the phone.

"What do you think Ash would think if she found out we were mates?" A familiar voice said and I knew it was angel....and she was talking to my brother.

I run out the stall and glare at her. "What the f**k? Are you serious?" I say taking the phone. "Flash?" 

"Oh s**t! Ash! I-" He starts but I cut him off. "No, you know what it's okay, I'm mates with your best friend too, but you know.." I say then turn to Angel and tell her "Unlike YOU, he doesn't avoid their best friend, making them feel like s**t as they're already having a hard time!" I yell and throw the phone at her, running out crying. 

I run out the building and into the forest.

'Ross!' I yell through mind link.

'Yeah? Ash? Are you okay?!' He asks worried.

'Angels been avoiding me whole time because she's mates with my brother, she thought it'd be okay if she wasn't close to me anymore, but that makes it hurt even more!' I yell.

'Where are you?' He asks.

I stop and look around and noticing I have no idea where I am as I've never been here before. 's**t! I don't know! I wasn't paying attention where I was going!' I yell terrified.

's**t! Don't worry I'm gonna find you!' He yells determined.

Suddenly I feel something poke into my skin. I was confused and spun around to see what happened, but I get dizzy as I fall to the ground before passing out.
