(Ross's POV)
I carried Ash to my room and lay down with her in my arms and calm her down until she falls asleep. As soon as she falls asleep I slip out from under her and get out of the bed and mind link Flash. 'Alpha Damien tried to rape your sister! She was crying her eyes out when I found her, so I took her to my room and helped her calm down. She fell asleep in here.' I told him.
'What?!' He screamed angrily.
'We kicked him out, he's not aloud back.' I told him reassuringly.
'Good! I'm coming over!' He yelled before cutting off the link.
(Ash's POV)
I woke up in a very comfy bed. It was like I was on a cloud, I really didn't wanna get up. Then I realized this isn't my bed. Suddenly I remembered what happened and I guess I must have fell asleep in Ross's bed which for some reason makes me not wanna get up even more.
Suddenly I felt a hand on my shoulder and looked over to see Flash.
"Are you okay?" He asked concerned.
I just shook my head indicating 'yes' as I still felt tired and could feel my eyes drooping.
He noticed and sighed. "You're gonna have to get up so you can go home, unless you plan on sleeping in Ross's bed tonight." He joked.
"She can, it's fine. I can see she's tired and it's pretty late." Ross said.
"Hell no! You aren't sleeping with my sister!" Flash yelled frightening me a bit as I was very sleepy, causing me to hit my head on the backboard.
Ross put his hands up in surrender "I didn't mean with me, I was gonna stay in an extra room!" He explains. "Ash are you okay?" He asked as I rub my aching head.
"Yeah, my head just hurts cause of Flash." I mumble sleepily.
"Sorry..." He whispers guiltily. "Okay I see you're tired, I'll let you just sleep here, but Ross I think I'd prefer if you stayed with her in the room, just don't sleep in the bed with her." Flash said.
"Okay." Ross said before I drift off to sleep again.
The next day I woke up and saw Ross shirtless. His abs were toned and he's very muscular, I can't help but let my eyes wander. He looks at me realizing I'm up and smirks. "Well good morning, you hungry?" He asks.
My cheeks flush as I've been caught staring and I just nod before getting up. He puts a shirt on and we go to the kitchen. We were sitting there eating and Flash came in. We were all eating breakfast together when someone rushed in. "We have a problem!" A pack warrior yells worried.
"What's wrong?" Ross asked with an eyebrow raised showing his confusion.
"A letter came in! You need to go to your dads office immediately!" He said.
(Ross's POV)
"What's going on?" I asked my dad confused.
"Alpha Damien sent this letter, he says he wants Ash or he will start a war." He says coldly.
"Oh hell no! That's not happening!" I growl.
"I know, I hate it too. I've tried to find another solution, but he refuses, he only wants her and I don't know why." He says annoyed.
"Tell him she has a mate, then he won't be able to do anything!" I say desperately.
"But she hasn't found her mate yet." He says irritated.
"He doesn't have to know that." I say pleadingly.
"Even if she did, he wouldn't give up." He growled.
"Well he's gonna have to give up, cause he can't have her, I don't care if he starts a war, she's part of the pack and as Alphas we must protect our pack which includes her." I growl.
"I know...If that's what you believe...then I'll send the message." He says sadly.
"I should go." I say turning around leaving.
'Go to my room immediately it's important.' I mind link Flash and Ash.
(Ash's POV)
"What do you think this is about?" I ask Flash as we walk to Ross's room.
"I don't know, but it must have to do with that letter." He says suspiciously.
We walk in the room and Ross is pacing, looking conflicted.
"What's going on?" I ask nervously.
"Alpha Damien is gonna start a war if we don't give him Ash." He says angry.
I gasp 'What?!' I wonder 'Why me?!'
"What?! Oh hell no he's not having my sister!" Flash growls.
"That's what I told my dad, which means....there's gonna be a war." He says sadly.
"What? You can't let a war start cause of me!" I say sadly. "You'd be putting the pack in danger!"
"We can beat him." Ross says coldly.
"I know but still.." I trail off.
"No Ash he's right." Flash says.
I'm glad they care about me, but I'm worried about the pack.
Alpha Damien decides to attack immediately. They start to attack but we aren't phased we shift and attack as well.
'What are you doing here?! You shouldn't be fighting, you should be in the bunker!' Ross growls at me through mind link.
'No! I'm where I should be, in the front lines, protecting our pack, I'm the best fighter! I have to fight for the pack!' I growl back.
'That's true, but you're the one they want, they'd leave once they have you, you're supposed to let us protect you....let me protect you.' He says softly making my heart flutter.
'I can take care of myself, they can't get me, I'm all yours.' I tell him.
'Fine...but please be careful.' He pleads.
'Okay, mom." I say sarcastically, rolling my eyes.
