Chapter 13

1798 Words
Isabella’s POV    I feel the rush of coldness, my eyes fly open. I find myself laying on the cold hard floor, I was wet. A tall man was holding a bucket that was now empty.   “You moron you left her unattended,  the alpha would have killed us both if I didn’t come check on you. She could have died with the amount of blood you drained and injected her with.” The tall man says.   “She was fine.” The man on the floor says.   For the time that I’ve been awake I have been drained of blood to the point of that I almost pass out. They inject me with something, and everything goes black again. The tall man pulls me off of the floor and chains me beck to the chair. I use all the strength I have and manage to knee the tall man in his jewels. The tall man’s partner comes at me, I throw my hand up using my powers to hold him up against the wall.   “Where am I?” I snarl.   Something sharp is stabs through my skin on my neck, I start to feel dizzy. I let the man fall onto the floor, I was pushed into the chair. The chains click shut telling me that I was now trapped again. Mr. Wyatt comes back into my view.   “You Slimy…” I breathe heavy, “Son of a-“  “Your father would be disappointed in your chose of words.” He chuckled.  “No, he would say something about his foot find a new home in your ass.” I say.   I didn’t see it coming, but his hand slaps me across my face. I turn and start coughing up blood.   “Disrespectful runt, I pity my sons for having you for a mate.” He says with venom.    I feel my heart clinch at his words.   “What is it that you want?” I say feeling the blood in the corners of my mouth.   “Isn’t obvious Moon Goddess, I want your blood. You don’t know the power it holds.” He says with an evil smile, “Bring her out.” He orders.    Two men brag out a crying girl, she was covered in bruises and blood. She looked like she was close to my age. I cough her scent, she is human.   “This is a useless mate to one of my warriors.” He says.    His eyes changes as his fangs enlarge, he bites the girl. She screams in pain; the girl eyes start to change flickering from normal to wolf eyes. Whenever a werewolf bites a human and injects them with their venom it starts to change the human into a werewolf. Most humans don’t survive and end up dying a slow painful death. The one that do survive slowly start to go mad.   “NO!!!” I shout.    Wyatt grabs a syringe, stabbing it into the girls’ arm and I seconds the girl starts to shift. In just a few minutes a wolf has replaced the girl.   “If your blood can turn keep a human alive while going through the transition think of what it could do to those that were born as wolves. Even the vampires, witches, and human will make up army to take over as king. Your blood will make me invincible.” He says.   “You can’t Leo and Jase-“ I start.    He stops holding up my phone, “No one will be coming for you. I sent out a message to your loved one that you couldn’t handle it anyone and that you were leaving and not to come looking for you. It was rather easy.” He crushed the phone in his hands.    I watched the pieces of my phone fall to the floor, I want to cry, but I will never give him that satisfaction.  “Don’t worry, when I’m done with you, I’ll kill you and then those you love.” He walked out the room.    I felt something cold and metal hit the side of my head, blackness consumed me.      I sit in the meadow with a spell book in my lap, Jase tries to get me to stop studying by placing kisses on my neck. Leo throws pecans, acorns, and pinecones at me while he climes the near by trees. I try a spell catching something on fire making Jase jump, Leo laughs so hard he falls out of the tree he is in. I can’t help but laugh with them. I stop, something is wrong, I’m not really here.   “I not really here.” I say standing and start to move away from them.      I come back to the present; it was just a memory. I wanted it to be real so bad, it felt real. I feel blood run down my face from being hit earlier. I close my eyes focusing so hard, I feel blood running out of my nose and mouth. I focus on Leo and Jase. I see myself appear where they are, Leo was in his room, and Jase was at football practice. They both froze seeing me.  “Save me.” I say the connection breaks.   I start to slip into the darkness again. It too a lot of transfer my consciousness to theirs in two different places and to say two words. Hopefully, they heard me.     Jason’s POV   --A few days before Isabella connected with him. –  I was in class when I didn’t see, I didn’t think much of it. When I talked to Leo, he said he hadn’t seen her either. We went to talk to Ace and Phoebe, but they hadn’t seen her either, Ace said that she didn’t come home and that he thought that she was with us. Our phones went off in our pockets. I pulled it out to see it was a text from Isabella.  Isabella: I can’t do this anymore I need to be alone to escape. I’m leaving and please don’t come looking for me.   We all looked at each other, I saw Leo’s eyes and I know what need to be done. I dial Alpha Alexander.  “Alexander.” He speaks.   “It’s Jason, did you get Isabella’s text?” I ask.   I wait for a long moment until I hear cursing and something breaking. He was roaring at someone to go call the trackers to find his daughter.   “I need all of you here at my house now!” He says furious.    I drive Leo and Ethan, while Ace drove himself and Phoebe. We pulled up at about the same time we all jump out. Ace leads us through the house to a door, he opens it to see that it is empty.   “This way.” Alexander’s voice says.    We see him at two open doors, I lead the way. It was a big room with a huge table in the room. Alpha Alexander sits down at the head of the table, he gestured that we sit.  “I have all of my trackers, tracking Isabella’s scent.” He speaks.    A group of people walk in and bow their heads.   “What did you find?” Alexander asks.  The lead tracker speaks up, “We followed her scent at the high school, it was a few yards away from the parking lot doors, but then it just disappears.”   Alexander stood up, “YOU LOST HER SCENT!!!”    They lower their heads tilting their heads, Alexander took a deep breath and sits down. He looks so defeated with himself for not know where his daughter was at all times.  “Uhmm, sir. We went to talk with Alpha Wyatt but he wasn’t there. When we asked the woman that works the desk and is in his pack, she told us that she hasn’t seen Mr. Wyatt. She also said the beta of the pack was in charge for the time being  and was having trouble with finding out the Alpha has been taking money from the pack. She said that some of the unmated she-wolves and the human mate are gone along with half the warriors.” The man announced.   I push on to my feet causing the chair I was sitting on to fall to the ground. I felt myself going through the change.    I look to Leo, “We have a father to kill.” I growl.    Leo nods and follows behind me as I shift and run straight for our pack house. The run is a blur of trees, roots, and rocks. I don’t even bother to shift back until I had broken through the main door and the Alpha’s office door. I shift to grab my father’s beta by his throat against the wall.   “Were is my mate.” I growl in his face as my claws grow.   “I don’t know he told me to take care of the pack and just left. When I came in to the office the floor and desk was a mess of papers. I cleaned it up all the papers are over there.” He pointed to two large stakes.   “Leave, me and my brother will take over from here.” I drop the man, he hurried to his feet and ran out.    Leo and I get to work going through paper after paper. A lot we’re bank statements from my father sending money that the packed made to a separate account. There were unpaid bills and loans, I wanted to hurt the man for putting our whole pack in danger.   “Jase?” Leo says. “Do you know why father would spend over five hundred dollars rent for a abandoned warehouse four states over?”   “No, but it sounds like a perfect place to disappear to.”      After we had told Alpha Alexander, he got some of his men ready to leave to find his daughter. Leo and I fought with him but Alexander and his men were accompanied by me, my brother, and some of our own men. We have only gone through one state in two days, at this rate I was starting to really worry about our little mate. She is strong and stubborn as hell, but she is not investable.
