Her Unexpected Mates

Chapter 14

Leo’s POV  

  I watch as Jason shifts back human form, his face shows pain. He hasn’t ever been stuck in one form for too long, because if it hurts to shift back when you aren’t use to being the same form for days. I can stay in my wolf form for about a week before I have to shift. I lay down pressing my hot body on the morning grass.  

“For real?” Jason says 

 I huff at him and close my eyes trying to sleep. We have been running all night to get through one state. We are close to her I can’t fell the mate link get, but we are close are in the same state. Alexander can over to me and Jason wearing shorts, for a alpha in his 50’s he is ripped. That may be because his wife, if Isabella is half like her mother he is probably fast.  

 Isabella is like a storm leaving me and Jason to try to control the uncontrollable. She has endless energy. I never want to control her because I love that she is just a little insane. Her idea of a fun night involved her making me and Jason chase her around.  

 I close my eyes searching for any little thing to tell me if we were close to Isabella. Ever since we crossed the state border I’ve felt flickers of connections most of them were flickers of pain, sadness, and fear. Feeling just a small slice of her pain makes my blood boil. 

“Leo! Stop, your wolf and mood is effecting me too. Just go to sleep, we will be up and moving in about four hours.” Jason mink links me. 

 I give up knowing he is right, there is no way I’ll be able to fight with less then an hour of sleep in the past 48 hours.  

Isabella’s POV  

 I wake up again, I guess I’ve been out for longer then I thought. Brian, the man that watches me, he is leaning against the wall. He is … an ass there really is no other word that fits him. I’ve tried to be nice to him, but I guess me kicking him in his jewels back fired.  

“Brian, what do you call a human man?” I ask. He just looks at me, “A dog.”  

 I laugh hard at my joke, he tries not to break a smile but fails.  

“Wait, wait, wait, I got a better one. What do you call me, the moon goddess.” I wait, “A blood bag.”  

 I laugh harder, and this time he laughs a little too. Another guard walks in, it was some woman. I know her she is the rudest women in the world. She killed all the laughter in the room, she turned and left sending me a ugly look.  

 I whisper, “If we throw water and that wicked witch will she melt or does it need to be a house?”  

 My comment made Brian laugh once again. I let my head fall on to the back of the chair, my head was hurting. I felt a weird spark of power rash through my nerves. I sat up as a group of soldiers rush in along with Alpha Wyatt. I didn’t know what was going on. One of the men stabbed me in the neck with a needle, my body went lack.  

“Come on we got to get out of here!” Alpha Wyatt orders  

 One man holds me under my arms and another man holds my legs as they fallow after Alpha Wyatt. They push through a door, light clouds my vision. My eyes force, it look like we are outside around abounded buildings. I look around me to see that I know some of the wolves around me, some where my father’s warriors and some were from my mates pack.  

“Wyatt, tell your men to release my daughter.” My father’s voice booms.  

“Alpha Sin.” Wyatt says in disgust. “I can’t do that, your daughter will make my army.”  

 Two snaps and I landed on the grass. Aww that hurt, I slowly use all the straight in my body to push me up from the ground. Two arms wrapped around me lifting me from the ground.  

“Get her out of here!” My dad shouts.  

 I look to see Jason holding as Leo starts to clear a path. I try to get out of Jason’s hold, he just holds me tighter. I watch the scene around me, enemies fall and allies fall. No, I have to save my them, I am the moon goddess.  

“Stop!” I command Jason.  

 He freezes not able to move, I get out of his hold. 

“What are you doing? We’re trying to save you.” He counters. 

“No, all wolves are mine to watch over. If they die I will die trying at save them. I’m sorry.” I kiss his cheek and run back to my father.  

 I try to move as fast as my body will let me. I dough wolf after wolf, I had to take a few down. I didn’t have the heart to kill them but they will wake up with one nasty headache. I get just feet away from my dad, I am stop by Leo holding me back. I tell him to let me go, but in a instant I watch my father fall to the ground with a hole in his chest. 

“Never forget I love you.” My father’s voice rings clear in our mink link before it dies, before he dies.  

“DAD!” I cry out falling to my knees. 

 Everyone fall still and silent as my cries and pain rings out. Everything moves to fast in that one moment, Leo let’s me go as he and Jason charge at their father. Jason tries to hold his father still as Leo tries to snap their father’s neck. Alpha Wyatt hooks his claws in Jason’s back and throws his across the field. I watch for Jason to get up I lesson, but I hear nothing not even a heart beat.  

 I feel fury like nothing I ever felt, I want Wyatt to feel the pain I feel. I stand up holding my hand out making a connection between my hand and Wyatt’s body. I twist my wrist breaking his legs, he fell to the ground screaming in pain. I twist my wrist breaking one of his arms. He looks up making eye contact with me, I see fear in his eyes. I felt the power of all the moon goddess in my veins. My hair flows around me as I feel myself float into the air. 

“Wyatt, you killed my father and your own son. You forced your own pack members follow you. You drained me of my blood, drugged me, and even in flicked imaginable pain. Now you will feel all the pain you put me through and all of those you have ever hurt.” I say. 

 I watch as he screams and cries, he falls to the ground dead. I feel my feet meet the ground, I don’t even think twice about Wyatt I turn to my mate. I feel for a pulse, but nothing. Tears fall down my face, I slowly places a kiss on Jason’s lips. I pull away, I feel his chest move as he takes in a breath. He is unconscious and not waking up. 

I turn to all the wolves on the field, “I need to take my mate back home to save his life. If you wish to come you must bow down to me or go rogue. If you are coming with me shift, if you can carry one of the injured or dead. We are not going to stop and rest, I will give you strength to travel without feeling tried. Let’s move out.”  

“Leo can you please carry my dad while I carry Jason?” I mind link Leo 

“Yes.” Leo says ending the link. 

 We traveled four states in two days straight. I had linked my brother and mother in advance to tell them to have a few living quarters set up for the warriors that are staying in the pack and to have guards ready to guard them if any are to step out of line. I didn’t have to straight to tell her that her mate died over mind link, but I know that she already know because of the snapping of the broken link. We entered the territory and I let my mother and brother take over as I carried my mate to my room. 

 I lay him on the bed, I fall onto my knees holding his hand in mine. 

I whisper as tears run down my face, “Moon goddess’s please bring my mate back to me. I love him.”
