Her Unexpected Mates

Chapter 15

Leo’s POV

 It’s been days since the fight, Ace took over his father’s pack and I took over mine. I ended up sighing a contract with Ace. He paid late bills for my pack and I agreed to pay him back and sigh a peace treaty. I’ve spent most of my days at my pack going through papers talking to the pack members. Most were happy with me taking over the pack after my father died and Jason being injured. Other challenged me but being a son of an alpha has it advantages.

 I left the office heading to go to Isabella, she hasn’t move from holding Jason’s hand. I’ve got her to change her clothes and show but she was not happy about leaving Jason’s side for a second. After the doc came and told us that Jason was in a coma like state and may or may not wake up, Isabella stayed. I tried but I couldn’t let my pack down if he never wakes up I couldn’t wait for him.

I came and sat next to Isabella, pulling her into my lap. Having her in my arms always made me feel calmer and less like a crazy man.

“He moved today.” She whispers. “It was just a twitch, but maybe it could mean he’s coming back to us.”

 I didn’t want to break her hope, I just kiss he cheek. I talked to the doc a day ago, he said that by now if Jason hasn’t woke up that he may never. I felt like my world ended in that moment and I didn’t have the heart to tell Isabella.

“I know the doc said that he may never wake up, but I have a feeling that he is here. Not in a physical way but in a spiritual way.” She whispers.

“I love you, Isabella, but it’s been days. I don’t know anything anymore.” I whisper into her hair.

 She lets go of Jason’s hand, turning in my lap to face me. She kiss me on the lip before she rest her head in the crock if my neck. She sobs in my arms whispering about how this is her fault and if she was just a little bit stronger. I know that here was nothing she could have done, but knowing that my just break her.

“What the did you say to make her cry? Don’t make me get up and kick your ass.” A voice ask.

 Isabella froze in my arms, we both look up to see Jason looking at us with his eye half open. Isabella jumps out of my lap and kisses Jason, but the weirdest thing happened. It felt like Isabella had kissed me not my brother.

“Did you?” I ask not knowing what to ask.

 Isabella’s eyes widen, “The moon goddess’s must have connected our live forces to save his.”

Jason’s POV

 I remember holding my father when sharp claws dug into my back and I was on the ground. Then nothing, it was dark, I started walking in the darkness. I called for Isabella and for Leo. There was no answer, the darkness changed into a lake with blue water, green grass, and a bright blue sky.

“Well that was interesting.” A beautiful voice says.

 I look around to find a women in a long blue dress. She had tan skin and long black hair. She was sitting on the grass looking out into the water. I tried to say something to her but nothing came to my mind.

 She laughs, “Jason, we’re not going anywhere any time soon. So, come and sit, enjoy the lake.”

 It took me a minute, but I ended up sitting next to her. I look out into the lake. It looks just like the lake that my mom use to take me and my brother to. I always loved it because my mom told me that the lake had special power. That just looking into the water it will show you a moment in your future. I spent hours looking into that same lake after she died hoping to see her again, but all that I saw was my reflection looking back at me.

“Who are you?” I ask.

“Think of me as the Moon goddess’s of the past. Your mom wasn’t wrong this lake does have powers, but not the kind she said.” She says looking into the water.

“I’m dead, right?” I ask.

“Yes and no. Yes you did die, but Isabella saved you. She gave used her power to connect your souls. It is her love for you and your brother that is keeping you alive.” She say.

“How do I get back to her?” I ask.

“That’s for you to figure out. You are the one stop yourself from going back.” She said.

 She slowly got up and started to walk away.

“Wait, how do I get back?” I ask.

“Like I said it’s up to you. You should listen to your mother’s words.” She says, then she was gone like air.

 I sat there alone for a long time. I had no idea if it had been hours or days. I got up and looked into the water I saw myself. Isabella sat on the floor holding my hand. I watch as Leo came is and held her to him. I felt myself contact back to my body.

 I try to open my eyes when I hear crying. The crying was Isabella.

“What the did you say to make her cry? Don’t make me get up and kick your ass.” I say.

 Isabella Jump up and comes to me.

“You’re awake. Leo call the doctor.” She orders.

 The doctors says that I was all good but that he wants me to stay in bed for a few more days just to be safe. Isabella was all over me, she wouldn’t let me leave the bed. I lay with her asleep curled into me.

 Leo is taking care of the pack, and I’m happy were I am.
