Invitation to the party

Well that was it, I felt like going back to know if his still there or not but I couldn't, you know I can only go out at night to avoid sunlight, so I didn't see Michael again for couple of days.until on a faithful day I decided to take a stroll around my vacinity. There was a tree not too far from my home, it was kind of chilly around there but I sat down beside the tree. I was playing my guitar for sometime then I decided to go back home because it was getting late. I picked up my guitar and dusted myself, just when I was about to start walking home, I heard footsteps coming towards me then I turned, and there he was, walking towards me with a smiling face.

"Holy pregnant cow" I exclaimed.

What could he be possibly doing here. Although I wanted to see him but I wasn't prepared that day, I was a mess. Oh. My God, I'm in a sweat pants, my hair is tied. I didn't know what else to do so I stood there. I was nervous but I didn't want him to notice it.

"Hey" he said

"Hey"

"what are you doing here"

" Urm... I decided to take a stroll"

" So, you are actually real, I thought I was dreaming the day I met you or something "he said and I couldn't help but notice those eyes again and how the lips parted while he was talking, and couldn't help but wished it was meeting mine that moment. It feels good having another friend, yeah his my friend,not just any friend , but my long time crush or should I say my first love. Well the good thing is I'm no longer watching him through the window, am actually talking to him now

" Hey, are you okay,you weren't responding"he said, snapping his finger across my face, then I came back to reality.

"Holy black Jesus , what have I done again, why can't I be myself when I'm around him.

Michael pov

Ever since the graduation night that I met her, I have always wanted to meet her again but I can't seem to find her anywhere around the vicinity.

That day I had decided to take stroll when I met her there. She's very beautiful and there was something captivating about her that I can't explain.

"Urm I gotta go " she said after I snap my finger.

"I didn't even get your name "i said

" It's Ann"

" I'm Michael "

" Okey"

" Can I walk you home ".

She hesitated a little before saying." Urrm, sure ".

We both started walking towards her house and we were just talking.

"So you were home schooled huh?, that must be really wild ".

" Well, it was actually not that wild, my mom is just pretty protective that's all".

"So, is your mom watching us now ?

" Oh yeah, she has her phone tapped into every camera".We both laughed

"So urm,I'm right up here,so you don't have to go any further".she pointed window.

"You live up there ,I really don't understand why we have never met".i said.

"Thanks for walking me home". She said and started walking towards her door .

"Hey,urm ...... would you do something sometimes? I said.With that she stopped and turned to face me

" Together?.she asked

"Yeah... together...I mean hang out or something".

"I'm really busy during the day,but I could be free at night" she replied.

"I could be free at night too".

"Well,you should put your number in here the.". She said and handed a song book so I could write my number and I did.with that I saw her went into her house smiling like a child in a candy store.

I started walking back home full of smiles,I was hoping she give ya call .I didn't want to push my lucks that why I didn't ask for her number instead.

Ann pov

It's a new day,Lizzy and I were in my room since I don't have to go under the sun for protection.she actually came because she needed to hear what happened last night between Michael and I.

"That's so romantic,it disgust me" Lizzy sighs and said while lying on my neatly arranged bed, while I was pacing round the room.

"What did he say about your FAMMM"

" No,it didn't came up"

" What do you mean by that"

" I ......didn't...bring it up"I said stammering, trying to look for an excuse to cover it up .Well the truth is I just want him to see me beyond my illness,I don't want him falling for me out of pity or something,I just want me him to see me for me.i just want to be loved like every other girls out there .

"I'm not gonna just randomly be like ,hey Michael I have FAMMM,i added.

Like,look ,when you tell someone you are sick, then you start to become more like a disease and less like a person.ik gonna tell him I promise.But I don't know when besides I don't know if I'm gonna see him again ".

" Well,I do know when you gonna see him again,my friend is throwing a party tonight,so I'm going to invite you and you are going to invite Michael "Lizzy said.

I texted Michael after several persuasion from Lizzy and he accepted to come to the party.The next time is how to convince my mom to allow me attend and also what to wear to the party.Finally I'm going to start living a normal life like other girl's aside playing guitar for my mom and Lizzy.Hopefully Michael gets to like me without knowing about my illness.i successfully convinced my mom to let me go for the party.It wasn't easy,she thought it was a lame party and suggested we stay back but I pleaded and she consented.

It was almost time and Lizzy helped me pick out an outfit.Did I forget to mention that I was actually very happy,I finally gets to be with the person I have actually loved all my life before death would come knocking.
