Michael pov

I have been waiting patiently since the day I met her last for her yet or call, but she hasn't called or texted me. I constantly check my phone for, what would call it "miracle" to happen but maybe she wasn't really interested in knowing or hanging out with me. I can't run anymore because of my leg injury and now I can't see Ann anymore, what a ba month. Tha da I was just working, I do part time job. I work as a waiter in a restaurant. That day I was about to serve a customer when my phone buzzled. I quickly served the man that was seated in front of me with the beautiful lady . I went inside,brought out my phone and saw the text message with the inscription "Ann".

Ann had invited me to a friend's party.

"Wow" I exclaimed as my cheeks curbed into a very wide smile . I quickly texted "I'm in" back to her. I couldn't held back my joy that day. My colleague noticed the excitement as I was grinning from ear to ear .

I quickly finished my work and went home. I took my bath and asked my mom to help me choose an outfit for me. She became curious as to what has brought such excitement.

"Urm, I think that one fit more" she said, pointing at the t_shirt I was holding at my right hand side.

"Okey, thanks mom" I said

"But, don't you think I deserve to know what's going on" she said trying to make me spill.

"Don't worry mom, you gonna know at the right time".

"But I think the right time is now"

"No, please queen of England, can you please allow me to change. I have somewhere to go". I said

"Alright, alright" she said while throwing up her hands in the air indicating she has surrendered.

I wore the outfit my mom had picked out for me and a pair of sneakers then I wore my best perfume. I wanted to impress her, I think I like her and wanted her to myself but I just hope she feels the same way too.

When I got to the party, I went inside but I couldn't find her but instead I saw my friends, they were at the party too,and then

Just when I was about to hand shake them,I saw mark"goodness me" I wasn't really ready for ay drama tonight,i just wat to find Ann .When he saw me,he walked up to us .

"Michael,you came to the party" he said rubbing my shoulder in a romantic way and I gently pulled his hands down.my friends just turned to the other side and I could hear them giggling.

" Yeah,I did"

" Do you mind joining me for games tonight to make up for the time you didn't get me time " he said that throwing his hand up the air ,with a very broad smile.

" Urm,no,maybe some other time."

With that i excused myself from him and went over to my friends .my friends started mimicking what mark did just now and I couldn't help but laughed.

I searched for her again but couldn't find her inside the party. I was already feeling frustrated, I started to think that maybe she wasn't able to make it to the party. I wanted to call her but i restrained myself from doing so and decided to be a little more patient. Just as I was to give up on finding her, I saw her standing outside looking so amazingly beautiful and stunning in that red dress.

Alot ran through my mind that moment.my heart started beating fast.I couldn't explain the reason behind it because it's actually not the first time I was meeting Ann.But seems like tonight was different.There was something very special about Ann Gilbert.

Ann pov

We got to the party and everywhere was bubbling.i was putting on a red dress and my hair was tied in a ponytail style,I wanted to look my best because Michael was coming to the party.After some minutes at the party,I couldn't find Lizzy anymore,she's the social type.I decided to step out of the party a bit,I was outside not far from where the party is.I stood there for some time when I heard footsteps approaching,I turned and saw him walking towards me elegantly.He was putting on a pair of trouser and a matching t _shirt with a sneaker.His hair was neatly arranged,well his looking so cute tonight and I couldn't help but gaze at him while he made his way towards my direction.

"Hi" I said without removing my eyes from his.

"Hi" he said smiling

"How did you find me here"

"Well, I guess your heart brought me to you.why are you not in the party?.he said

" I couldn't find Lizzy some minutes after we arrived and I wasn't feeling the party anymore "I said looking away.

" Oh okey,what are you gonna do now"

I chuckled and said" I don't know, probably go home ".

" Not yet,come on let's go over to my car". He said and we walked down to where he parked his car,we sat inside and was discussing about school,our hobbies and lots more.As we talked more the connection between us grew stronger,we found ourselves lost in each other's eyes and the air filled with alot of anticipation.

Tha night was electrifying ,and I felt a spark of attraction and I think Michael felt it too.

"I'm really glad I met you tonight" he said,his voice low and gentle.

I smiled ,feeling my heart beat faster.

"Me too",I replied my voice barely a whisper.

We leaned in,our lips meeting in a soft gentle kiss.and I felt a rush of excitement.I finally had a taste of those lips I had admired the other night at the train station.
