Fifty Wednesday, December 22 Dolphin’s Graveyard Dive Site Eva startled at the sound of a splash behind her, followed by a low hissing. Eva and Thomas slowly turned, and Thomas’s lantern revealed a snarling creature crouching by the side of the pool. A juvenile Tylosaurus. Its dark tongue flicked in and out of a mouth full of conical teeth. Though it was small compared to its mother, the monster was bigger than even the largest adult Komodo dragon. “Back! Back!” Thomas yelled at the beast, waving his lantern. He grabbed a medallion and threw it hard at the Tylosaurus’s head.
