Chapter 16: The Final Match

He got really angry, it looked like one of his veins is going to explode

"Ken! what the hell are you doing here?"

"Outsmarting your outsmarting," says Ken smiling,

"Like it will matter who I am facing, I will kill you so many times you wished you were on the bottom battlefield,"

"Oh, you deal physical damage?" says Ken

"What do you mean?" Then he looks at Ken's inventory and sees health items and magic resists items

"How did you know?" Says the guy very angry

"Uf, they don't teach you nothing at that guild of yours, don't they, Suda Harufusa?" says Ken smiling at him

He looked angrier but also confused as well

"Once you enter in a climbing Isles match and also a guild your Infos are publicly shown if you search for them. I think it's illegal to steal data, but who am I to decide that?" says Ken and shows Suda his info

"He always wanted to have a higher authority than other people, so fro ma very young age he joined the military force. He trained there for 7 years until he realized that the military force from the starting area was just a "joke" as he said. Being better than all the grown-up soldiers at such young age he decided to leave and to enter the military in another area than the starting one. Suda uses all of his tools to prevent the enemyes to help their other teammates"

Passive name: gravity attraction

Combat passive

the user chooses an opponent. After the opponent is chosen, neither the caster and the chosen target can't go far from each other. They can recall even tho the passive is cast on them, but they cannot change the battlefield if they are still affected. If the user defeats the chosen target, he gets a stack that increases his magic damage increases by 100%. This can stack infinitely.

Cooldown: Allways active

Ability name: Gravity ball

The user puts a gravity ball on the ground near him, he can control the ball with this ability. The first time the ball hits an enemy it deals magic damage and slows the enemy. The ball lasts 10 seconds and after that time the ball gets straight back to the user dealing magic damage on the way back.

Cooldown: 10 seconds

*The ability enters in cooldown after the balls return, not from when the ability was first cast*

Ability name: Gravity explosion

The user makes 10 gravity balls that circle near him, every time one of the gravity balls from this ability hits an opponent, the user gains a shield. The balls last 5 seconds and after that time they get back to the user dealing magic damage on the way back

Ability name: Gravity presence

Passive ability

After the user hits an opponent with 3 attacks or abilities, near him a strong gravity field start spinning dealing constant damage to the enemyes that stay in the field, the field last for 5 seconds, but after attacking again 3 times, the field duration gets back to the 1 second

Cooldown: Allways active

Ability name: Blackhole

Ultimate ability

The user throws a gravity ball at a set location near him, once that gravity ball hits the ground it explodes transforming into a black hole that attracts all enemies near her. Tho the damage is dealt with when you are closer than the pulling range.

Cooldown: 2 minutes

"Nice passive to keep someone in place, but your friends on the bottom battlefield seems better. What was the support passive again? All dashes abilities and items are disabled? That's sound toxic enough to til someone," Says Ken still making fun of their team

"If we can't counter you we will counter your support! You get carried by him anyway," Says Suda.

But just right after, one of Suda teammates start shouting through the communication device

"What is that on the bottom battlefield?"

Yonezu and Soma were on the bottom for some reason

"you still didn't get it? we full countered your plan"

They indeed got so far to change their lineup. They know every player from "Twenty level scalings" can flex their battlefield. but they only did that when their original role was not able to be played. So they got taken by surprise when they saw that their positions changed

Tamura was top while Inazuke was playing the forest role. Ken was mid and, on the bottom side, they had Soma playing the role of the marksmen while Yonezu was the support

"Your players countered ours, but our players countered as well your players. So much for being cocky right after the match, If you will not come to us trying to pick up a fight we would have never known versus who we are against and this will not happen. Well played"

The match started and everything was going according to Ken plan

Suda couldn't kill Ken one time because he was building tank items and Suda couldn't get stacks from his passive because he was stuck with Ken on the middle battlefield.

Tamura had a lot of kills since he countered the other player so hard that the instant the other player showed his face on the top battlefield he was instantly defeated.

The team from "Discrete Whirlwind" original plan was to put someone on the top battlefield that can summon minions so he could have countered Inazuke but instead, that guy relied too much on the minions he summoned that when he faced Tamura, that had an ultimate that made him 1 vs 1, minions were not there to help him. On the forest side, they had someone to silence the opponent so Soma will not be able to spin. But when he faced Inazuke he couldn't even hit that ability since he got confused by Inazukes illusions

In mid they tough sending the guy that really benefited from getting kills, so of course, they send him versus the guy that dies the most in the enemy team, Yonezu. Unfortunately for them, they didn't expect a "tank" on the middle battlefield.

And on the bottom battlefield, they send players that counter dashes since Tamura and Ken had one of the most powerful mobility abilities they ever saw. So Ken decided to send Yonezu and Soma there because they didn't rely on their movement abilities, but on their combat skills.

This went on until the first team fight. where all the enemy team members were on mid while Ken was the only one there. He was standing near his tower

'What? Are you not going to call for backup?" says Suda pissed off

"To what? Lose this team fights. Your members are still countering ours, like it or not, we are at disadvantage in all the team fights

Suda looks on the map and sees no one from Ken's team present

But then ken smiles and say

" I was joking" After saying this, all of ken team members jumped from a bush to attack them.

Suda got surprised and he didn't take a second to think to cast his ultimate

"Get crushed by gravity, Twenty levels scaling!"

"Damn you are tilted," Says Ken and immediately cast his ultimate as well

He deflects Suda ultimate and caught everyone from their team

"More like, get crushed by overconfidence," says Inazuke

They defeated everyone from their team and everyone got kills to the point that. It didn't matter how good the team from "Discrete Whirlwind" were playing, they could not defeat anyone from Ken's team

And so the match was decided, Winner where the team "Twenty levels scaling" from "Order of the dragons"

They got back from the Isles and they were in the waiting lobby. Everyone looked at Ken with respect

"That what we expected from the first division captain, well done," Says Inazuke

Then out of nowhere Suda come to Ken and kneels before him, then every one from his team kneeled as well

"We are sorry, for underestimating you"

"Cut the crap! You only lost one match, you guys were actually troublesome, imagine making me build tank items, I was never that scared in my life" Says Ken

But then they get called by one of the girls from the counter

"Twenty levels scaling? your badges are done"

"Badges?" Ask Inazuke

"We will explain them to you when you come and pick them up"

They didn't have a choice so they went to the shown room to get their badges

They went to a dark room and a deep voice was heard

"Why is it so dark in here, someone, turn on the light!"

Everyone got confused but when the light was finally turned on they saw a familiar face

Ken looks at him and thinks

"Big muscles, Bald, weird mustache?"

and then Ken shouts

"MIKE?"

Then everyone from Ken's team shouted

"THE RESTAURANT OWNER?"

"Hi kids, good job on your match"

Ken just said

"I don't even know what to believe anymore"

"Well, believe that you finally managed to rank up you can now exit the starter area. Now let me explain what the badges are"

He explained so much that everyone got bored, not because the information was not helpful, but Mike for some unknown reason decided to start with his backstory, so everyone fell asleep before they can hear about the badges

After he was done explaining he saw that everyone was asleep and slams his desk with his fists to wake them up

"Ken! what did you remember from my story?"

Ken that was just waking up, didn't even know his name and thus he said

"Noodles are typically made from unleavened wheat dough"

Mike facepalms and hands them their badges

"Just remember that they show your rank and if you can use them to teleport from the starter area"

"Wait, can we come back here"

But before Mike could respond an alarm clock was heard

"Oh, I need to go to the restaurant, bye guys!"

"Wait!"

He didn't respond to them and they looked at their badges

"All that hard work for this huh? Hope the non-starter area will be worth it" Says Inazuke

"Now where are we going?"

"He gave me 2 more badges, that are probably for Lisa and Inaba, and I am also hungry. So I guess we have to go to the restaurant"

"Man, who would have guessed the restaurant owner was also the head of the starter area Climbing Isles"

"We found out some weird stuff this day didn't we?" says Yonezu
