Chapter 3

Lalya's POV

As an intern I have to attend this party they are having for work. I'm not complaining though because my parents have friends over tonight and they are always uptight and stuffy. This was much better than that, besides I got to bring my friend Casey and she can make anything fun. She's that life of the party kind of person, and we haven't hung out much since I started working here. "Here's your rum and coke" Casey says as she's dancing up to me. What a social butterfly, always talking to everyone she sees.

What is that tingley feeling in my belly?

Why did I just think that? What does mate even mean? I think I'm loosing my mind. In that moment the most magnificent man I have ever seen came into my view through the crowd. He stops dead in his tracks almost as if he senced me looking at him. He looks up and are eyes locked as if we were in a trance and the world around us dissapeared, but why me? I'm not complaining because he is drop dead gorgeous and I'm pretty, but not that pretty. OMG those eyes, so amazing. Dark brown eyes with a tint of red, make me feel like he can see into my soul. His brown hair matched perfectly with that beautifully toned skin, and DAMN that body. So firm his suit doesnt hide that strong masculine figure. I'm getting myself excited just looking at him. His gaze is keeping me held in place and he gets a big grin like he can hear my thoughts as he approaches me.

"Hi, I'm Domanic Blackwell Alpha King of the Red moon pack, I hadn't realized another pack would be in town. What pack are you from?" the magnificent man said with love struck eyes. "Pack? What is a pack? What do you mean by that?" I reply. Instantly his expression when from love struck to a confused unhappy one.

What did I say? Of course i would say something stupid to upset the most beautiful creature ever! For some reason I couldn't stand the expression on his face almost as if it hurt me deep down to upset him. Why would it bother me like this, then another thought hit me. Ooo no!!! Blackwell, he owns this place, he is my boss. O....M.....G. Before I could say another word he says "I gotta go" and pretty much ran out of the party.

Well I'm done embarrassing myself for tonight. "Hey Casey, I'm going home, let me know when you make it home safe ok?" "Ok love you be safe to" she says while giving me a dancing hug.

When I got home I jumped in the shower. Luckily my parents were already asleep so I didnt have to deal with them tonight. The whole shower i kept thinking about Domanic, mmmmm such dirty fantasies. I get out of the shower and get dressed. I need to go to sleep maybe it will get rid of my naughty thoughts.
