Xayne Zacksworth "Xayne!" Carl called me, still trying to stop me from leaving Julie. I ignored him and entered my car. When I started the engine, I also noticed that Carl also entered, explaining that I should have not acted like s**t in front of Julie. "Xayne, are you sure about this? Breaking up with Julie?" He asked as he closed the door of my car "She almost gave everything to you. Is she not important to you?" I turned my head and glared at him. Can't he understand? Julie lied and hurt me. "I am sure about my decision Carl. She lied to me. She knew about Alodia but she never told me about her" I said. I saw Carl's frowned face. "Why would she? Alodia is not your girlfriend. We both know that Julie likes you too much. She would rather keep you for herself than see you running to the person who cannot even recognize your importance" I slammed the steering wheel of my car because of what he said. How could he say that to Alodia? "Shut up Carl! You will never understand me because you never had a serious relationship. Did you even treat a girl right?" I asked. Carl suddenly went outside the car and opened the door beside me. He became furious and attacked me like a mad dog. He pulled the collar off my clothes and punched me. I sprang to the floor and touched my jaw. I saw blood from my fingers when I touched my lips. "At least I did not make them cry" he glared and walked away. You are wrong Carl. We are no different. I stood up and kicked the door of my car. I was so angry because of what happened. I pull my hair out of frustration. I am so sorry Julie but I need to leave you. I still love Alodia. At 6 am, I left the country without telling my friends and family. I came back to France to be with Alodia. I haven't had enough sleep since I came from France until I returned to France. I want to be with her for the rest of my life. I want to have a family with her. I want to achieve my dreams with her by my side. I want to do it my first time with her. I really like Alodia and nothing is more important than her. When I got outside the airport I went straight to Alodia's apartment. I knocked outside her room several times but no one opened the door for me so I decided to come inside. I found the light of his apartment turned off so I looked for the switch and turned on the light. The empty room showed up to me. I immediately went into the master bedroom and searched for her closet. I nervously opened it and saw that her clothes and other belongings were gone. For the second time, Alodia left me again. I saw the folded white paper on the bed. The heart-shaped necklace I gave him on his birthday rested on the paper. I sat on the bed and read the paper while holding the necklace tightly in my other hand. I am sorry Xayne but I only think of you as my close friend. Please do not find me or you will lose the most important thing you have. Alodia. I crumpled the paper and threw everything I saw in front of me including the necklace. I let out all my sadness and anger and almost everything around me was ruined. I already lost the most important thing I have. Julie Harris I haven't been out of my room for a few days since I heard Xayne went back to France to live with Alodia. I just remained confined to my room sad and crying. The pain I felt was too much. I did not expect that I would be so easily replaced and forgotten. All I did inside my room was read our old conversations and looked at our old photos. Xayne never smiles at the camera except when I force him. I laughed because of our funny conversation and the good times we shared then I cried because that will never happen again. While I was alone inside my room, I heard my mom crying outside while knocking on the door. I hurriedly stood up and opened the door because I was scared that maybe something bad was happening. "Mom?" I called her name when I saw her on the ground gasping for air. I immediately called our maid but no one came. I completely forgot that we didn't have a helper anymore. They lost their jobs because my parents had nothing to pay for them anymore. It's been two weeks since I found out that my family's company is in debt. Our company's investors left for no apparent reason. The company can no longer pay the workers so the employees are gradually losing their jobs. My father was in big trouble that he have to work overnight without taking a rest to save our company. "Mom! What happened?" I asked as I hurriedly went to her and helped her. I called an ambulance. "Your dad sold the company and his secretary called and said your dad... had an accident." My eyes widened in shock. My dad got into a car accident. When I rushed my mom into the emergency room. I tried to find my dad but before I could ask the receptionist. I saw my father's secretary crying on one of the benches in the hallway. "Lucy!" I called her attention. He ran towards me and hugged me tightly. "How is he? Where's my dad?" I asked. "I-I am so sorry Ms. Harris, your dad... H-he did not make it" my father's secretary cried. It feels like my world was starting to crumble. What's happening with my family? My tears began to flow when I went inside and saw my father's dead body. How can I tell the bad news to my Mother? She will be hurt. "Ms. Harris, your mom..." I turned around to see the doctor that was responsible for my mother's condition. "Is she okay now? Tell me my mom was okay, please..." I asked nervously. I faced her and held both of her hands. I felt nervous, scared, and in pain. I hope that she will tell me that my mom was okay and everything was fine. "How is she? Is she okay now? Tell me!" I asked trying to read her eyes but I can only find the opposite answer. "I am so sorry..." She said and lowered her head. "I s-see..." I uttered. I slowly walked out of the room. I can no longer stop my tears. The pain inside my chest is too much to handle. I can no longer take it anymore. I am going to break. My mom... My Dad... they all leave me alone. My world collapsed when I heard that my father and mother were gone. I can't believe they will just disappear and leave me so quickly. I hugged their cold bodies. Begging to come back to life, crying, and asking so many things. Pleading them that I am not ready for this. I need them. I still wanted to be with them till I grow old. My hands were trembling when I looked for my phone trying to find someone to contact and asking for help. I saw Xayne's number and tried to call him but he already changed his number. I can't breathe. The pain was suffocating. Why did he leave me when I needed him the most? I did not realize how quickly everything can fall and break apart until it does...
