The Aphonic Girl

One by one, each of the tree houses burned down. One after another, houses fall, families run around, knights fighting, healers do their best to heal the wounded, and mothers and fathers do their best to protect their children. One family was able to run far away from the trouble; it was the royal family. All the guards and people of the kingdom prioritized protecting the royal family. Though they were able to escape, the guilt of the emperor and empress for leaving their people behind was eating them up. As soon as the emperor and empress arrived at the river Cassiopeia, they asked the stars to bless their only daughter on her journey. Once they said their goodbyes, they put their daughter in a protected basket and let the basket flow through the river, hoping that their daughter would find her way back to her original place. When their daughter was out of their sight, they went back to their imperial place and joined the fight. They asked for guidance and wished for everyone to be safe, but in the end, the imperial place was burned down, with nothing left at all. The houses were turned into ash, and the imperial palace was brought to ruins. The only thing that is left of the imperial kingdom is the only daughter of the emperor and the empress, Princess Amaris Celeste Amaryllis.
