Chapter 20

751 Words
I haven't forgiven Sean, yet. He still has to try hard for my forgiveness. But I don't hate him, anymore, I guess. We're actually in the school grounds, sitting on one of the tables outside on this beautiful sunny day during lunch, where I'm eating a very delicious cinnamon roll while Sean's eating a burger, I'm sitting next to Sophia, who's sitting next to her now boyfriend Jax. At least Jax has balls to ask the most feared girl to be his girlfriend. The question is: Will he last? Almost all of Sophia's boyfriends run away, scared when she goes beast-mode. Yeah, no one wants to see Sophia's beast-mode. (and yes, I got that from Minecraft, cue smirk) I stared at Sean who wrapped his arm around me while eating, I pushed his arm away, "Don't push it." I grumble. "Sorry," he smiled then continued eating, I glanced at Sophia and Jax who's taking PDA to a whole new level. I sighed, pushing my food away, they're making me lose my appetite. OH gosh, gross. "Sean, why are you sitting here with her?" I hear a voice ask and I snapped my head to Amanda who raised an eyebrow while looking at me with distaste. She's infuriating, She makes me want to kill her. "Because I want to," he answers in a "duh" tone that I smile, Amanda scoffs, "You should sit with me," she tells him and he shakes his head, ignoring her and trying to feed me his burger that I push away with a roll of my eyes. I don't want to eat his food that has his germs all over. I do not want cooties, Call me childish but cooties are bad, warn your kids. "Come on, Sean." she whines, pulling on his arm. I stood up annoyed at her, "You know--" Sean cuts me off when he stands up and pulls me away from Amanda. I glare at her and Sean pulls us out of sight, "What was that all about?" he asks with a sigh and I glare at him, "She's annoying me! Just hearing her voice annoys me." I tell him and he groans, rubbing his face with his hands. "Just when someone annoys you, you just can't pounce on that someone with an intention of killing that someone." he tells me and I stare at him quiet, "You have a lot of someone in a sentence." I tell him and he rolled his eyes, taking my hand. "I know you're not like this, you're just angry at Amanda because of what happened. Can't you just forgive and forget?" he asked me and I keep quiet. I know it's true. That's I'm angry at Amanda because of what happened between them but- "I can forgive but I can never forget." I tell him truthfully that his eyes soften. "Just give it a try? You can't live forever with your heart full of hate." he tells me softly and I shook my head, "I don't hate you anymore." I tell him shrugging and he smiled, "But you hate Amanda, can't you look past the problem and look at the times you two have been through?" he asked. I can't. The pain of her betrayal hurt me. and she didn't even apologize when I told myself I would forgive her if she could just apologize, but she didn't. She's too late. "We'll see." I just said and he sighs, nodding but kissing my forehead. I smiled and closed my eyes. He's been really sweet to me after the storage room incident. I want to forgive him but I want to see him work for it first because if he really loves me, he'll make an effort to make it up to me. "It hurts me to see you full of hatred and it's because of me," he mumbles softly, I look at him through my lashes and smiled, "It's not all your fault, it's Amanda's too." I tried to make him feel better but really, I suck at comforting someone and he knows it so he just laughed and raised my hand to his lips. I would have melted but I'm not an ice cream that's in direct sunlight. "It's my fault," he pushed and I sighed, "Okay, then." "Just, please, try to talk with Amanda?" he asked me and I raised my eyebrows at him but nodded, he grinned and kissed me on the cheek. "Thank you." he told me, "Hm," was my only reply.
