when i woke up i was in my bed. was it a dream? i looked at my clock. it was 12:30 pm. i groan as i felt my headache.
kathy walked in...
"your up ? how you feeling?" she asked.
"like i got hit by a train!" i said in my pillow.
she laughed.
"you going into day for work?" kathys eyes where twinkling. i nodded. i only have one job for right now. but its a good one. it payes the bills. my schooling is all ready paid for.thanks to my grandma. she left me some money when she past away. she knew i loved anime and i started to draw when i was 10 years old.
my parents weren't thrilled about it. They wanted me to do medical or doctor. but yeah i told them no. as soon as i turned 18 i ran. my highschool diploma got it thru the mail. money my grandma gave me into my bank account... how much u ask? well...at least 500000 half of a million dollares. did i spend it...well only 30000 on the things i need and to pay my schooling and thats it. hence why i got the job at a bar. my grandma told me to work hard.plus im not greedy.
the bar normally pays me at least about over 2217 a month. my rent. which is 420 a month then my car payment wich is 250 a month. then 300 for other things.
yep that's my life.
i groan as i held my head...i had school tomorrow. oh did i mention im in my fourth year.
"kathy sat on the bed and gave me aspirin and water.
"thanks...!" i said. she just said its fine and left. i pulled back my covers. i noticed my legs where soar and i had a hickey on my leg...omg.
i almost screamed...maybe it wasnt a dream after all.
i slowly got up and showered and scrubbed myself...I can't believe i gave my v card to some stranger....i got out and put my hair into a bun. i put on a pair of my black leggings and black tee shirt...and put on my flats. then grabbed my car keys and off i went to work.
halo wine is a very old bar. it ran in the family of Trisha yall.. she is 55 years old.
brave lady and is a good boss.
"hi trisha.." i said smiling.
"hi hun hows your birthday yesterday?" she asked.
i laughed..."it was interesting to say the least.
i started pulling down chairs and wiping the tables.i did this everyday. not only that but it was only me and three other people a day we work. me it was everyday besides sundays. i noticed the band was setting up..yep today was going to be a good day.
as two weeks gone bye and my school was at the end and of me graduating. exspecaly with a 4.0. thats when i noticed i was getting sick.
i woke up.on Wednesday and i had to run into the bathroom just to puke up..it was gross. thats when i noticed my pads. no...no no no
i looked on my calandar. i was late...omg.
i screamed...
Kathy came running in...
"what?" she said in a panick...
"go get a pregnancy test..." i shouted...
she looked at me confused...
"but how..your a vergin...."she stated...
"just go please..."
that d**k didn't use protection...
An hour later me and kathy waited. in a second both test where positive. i sighed.
"well there no denieing it im prego"i said.
kathy grinded.
"im going to be an aunt" she shouted. i groan...she all ready knew i was going to keep the baby.
i looked at my watch...it was my graduation day...and there was a competition for an animation project. i was doing both in one day. crap...
my graduation sarumonie was good. it took forever but it was realistic and incouraging. i didnt throw up...so i was doing good. i grabed that deploma then got of the stage.
then we all stood around and took pics. then the nest part.the compition..
everyone gathered around. who ever won this got a trip to japan and its animation company... it was exciting and breathtaking. knowing someone would be having there dream come true..
the beautiful Japanese lady came up to the podium and grabbed a paper...
everyone held there breath.
Amelia wood...i gasped.i shut my mouth. people cheered and gave me huggs. i was excited and nervous. my anime won the compition...I'm going to japan.
i stoped thou...my hand grabbed my stomach.
"wait..." i said everyone was loud. but when peo p e seen i wasent going up there...they went quite.
"i need talk to the higher upper." i said.
i sat there quietly wth a teacher and princable of the art instuite. the competition judges came in. they found out im pregnant. they where all discussing this.
no one shouted at me...they where just concerned.
i knew i might not get to have this opportunity again.
i sighed....
they all came out of the office...
"we decided..!" said a the Japanese judge.
"when u have your child u can relisted your anime in six years" he said. my mouth was shocked. i nodded my head.
"ummm sir?...is it ok to work on other anime. during this time?" i asked as i bowed. he smiled wth the rest of them they nodded.
"what u come up with will be watched!"
i smiled...
"for now we will go to the second person who is in the competition to win...!" he stated.
thats when i left....
i didnt feel upset at this moment...
Kathy and Trisha came up to me... i had tears in my eyes...
trisha hugged me....
"poor kid! who is the father?" she asked. i sighed. i looked down ashamed. .
"i dont remember!" i said sad and rejected.
but all i know is im not blaming this litte rugg rat. i said smiling. i rubbed my stomach...
"come on lets get u to an obyugn...and dont you worry about med bills! your on our insurance policy.." she said.
"thank u!" i said as gave her a hugg. then i herd the announcement of the second person...they won the compition. i gave them a smile as we left.
