"I've never been to a wedding this sad," a female guest whispered mockingly. Another voice followed. "Of course. A wedding without a groom? Hm! I didn't know this could happen, but nothing is impossible when there's a lot of money." "If I were the bride, I would run away or kill myself than bear the shame!" the first woman replied. Their mocking chuckles made Lucia clench her fists. She squeezed the skirt of her wedding dress tightly.

The Solitary Lady
Part 1 The Solitary Lady "I've never been to a wedding this miserable," a female visitor murmured jokingly. Another voice followed. " Obviously. A wedding without a lucky man? Hmph! I didn't have the foggiest idea about this could occur, yet the sky is the limit when there's truckload of cash included." "Assuming that I were the lady of the hour, I would take off or commit suicide than bear the disgrace!" the primary lady answered. Their deriding laughs made Lucia hold her clench hands. She pressed the skirt of her wedding dress firmly. Lucia needed to leave the latrine desk area where she had been stowing away and make the visitors shut their mouths. All things considered, she was the lady of the hour they had been snickering by any means along. Lucia left the party setting and concealed in the latrine desk area for 30 minutes sooner since she would have rather not cried in broad daylight. Nonetheless, she didn't discover a sense of harmony. The visitors' devilish murmurs rankled her. "I heard that Raul Martinez looks revolting. Everybody in the town of Potes knows it as well. I bet he didn't appear at his wedding out of disgrace. He didn't believe anybody should see his monstrous face," the visitor estimated. The three ladies chuckled joyously. They were grateful Lucia's misfortune didn't occur for them. "Surprisingly more terrible, Raul's legs are incapacitated. How is it that he could fulfill Lucia in bed?" one of them asked, wondering for no specific reason. "Gosh. I feel frustrated about Lucia. It's absolutely impossible that she and Raul could realize their marriage," the other lady added. "The lucky man is debilitated and revolting, while the lady is just a gold-digger. They're ideally suited for one another!" the visitor jeered. The two ladies giggled at Lucia's destiny. Be that as it may, they were in good company. Lucia speculated that every one of the visitors at her wedding probably thought something very similar. Finally, Lucia got up and pushed the desk area entryway open with such power. Her green eyes penetrated at the two ladies remaining before her. The two ladies screeched when they saw Lucia's terrifying appearance in the mirror. They gradually turned around to her with enlarged eyes. The essences of the two ladies turned pale. They didn't expect the lady of the hour, who was the object of their criticism, to be in the latrine work area. Lucia needed to shout at them and smack their countenances, yet this present time was not the opportunity to raise a ruckus. She kept down her bubbling outrage and gripped her clench hands firmly. Be that as it may, it didn't prevent one more tear from falling. Lucia cleaned the tear and stomped out of the bathroom. She headed external the structure and hurried into the wedding vehicle, which had hung tight for her in the hall. The lady didn't mind where the vehicle headed. She was unable to remain to hear anything else of the visitors' brutal insults. Lucia gazed external the vehicle window all through the whole outing. Many prospects of what might occur next filled her brain, making her significantly more restless. She was sufficiently unfortunate to wed a man she had never seen. Far more atrocious, the man was revolting and incapacitated. Lucia needed to cry, yet she nibbled her lip to keep down her tears. She understood that she was unable to cry over her own choice. The lady acknowledged this marriage in view of her sister, Eva. Their dad, Victor Ortiz, desperately required ten million euros. The Martinez family gave it under one condition. They needed a lady of the hour for their child. Eva ought to have hitched Raul, yet the lady cried and implored her folks, driving Lucia to have her spot. She more than once raised how Lucia had nearly killed her before. Ages ago, Lucia lost Eva in the timberland. The last nearly passed on in light of the fact that she was just found two days after the fact. Lucia's lethal slip-up turned into the justification for why her folks scorned her. Not set in stone to move on from school straightaway. Like that, she could move away from her loved ones. Tragically, she needed to wed Raul before she might really graduate. Eva's steady supplications and cries changed as long as Lucia can remember. "We have shown up, miss," the driver declared. His voice interfered with Lucia's train of contemplations. She quietly escaped the vehicle and entered the house before her. The lady wheezed in shock when she saw the house's rich inside and glanced around in wonder. Lucia was depleted. Her wedding dress material was weighty and awkward, making her hard to move. She meandered to a vacant room and tracked down a difference in garments in the closet. Lucia had not carried anything with her. She put on something else, set down on the bed, and immediately nodded off. *** A delicate touch on Lucia's shoulder awakened her from her profound sleep. The lady heaved in shock. A man was lying close to her, however she was unable to see his face plainly under the faint light. The man started to stroke her body. "W-What's happening with you?" Lucia stammered. She reflexively created some distance from the man. "For what reason would you say you are wearing my shirt? Is it safe to say that you are baiting me to lay down with you?" the man asked her back. Lucia couldn't see his face, yet she speculated that the man was Raul. All things considered, the stupendous house and all that in it had a place with him, including the shirt she was wearing. "Uh... No, I-" Lucia stammered. "There's compelling reason need to rationalize. Take it off!" Raul requested. "No way!" Lucia denied while driving his hand away. "I carried nothing with me, so I needed to get your shirt," she made sense of, getting more apprehensive as time passes. Unexpectedly, Raul continued on top of Lucia. He nailed her down and caught her hands over her head, making her screech in dread. "I realize you need to prod me," he said in a profound and raspy voice. "No, Raul! Wait!" Lucia cried. "What are you hanging tight for? We're as of now hitched," Raul contended. "But... Ah!" Lucia froze when she felt Raul's hand travel under her half-open shirt. She had never been moved by a man. The sensation of his hand on her uncovered skin caused her to feel debilitated with anxiety. Lucia attempted to drive Raul's hand away, however he was more grounded than her. "I beseech you to stop," Lucia stammered. She separated in tears as the man kept on grabbing her chest. Raul quit moving and hauled his hand free from Lucia's shirt. He thudded down on the bed and grunted uproariously. "What's going on? I won't let you down, Lucia. Just my legs are deadened. Other than that, I am fit areas of strength for and," said certainly. He made his statement by pulling Lucia's hand and putting it on the lump in his jeans. Lucia let out a scream, knowing quite well that the tattle in the bathroom was off-base. She withdrew her hand, drove Raul away, and rushed to the washroom when she got the opportunity. "Do you figure I can't have intercourse to a lady? Could it be said that you are here to enjoy my family's cash? Provided that this is true, that makes you a gold digger!" Raul shouted. Lucia quit running and turned around when she heard the tone of scorn in his voice. She watched Raul's dull outline shift to the edge of the bed and reach for his wheelchair. The man let out a snort as he utilized his arms to help his body. After a second, he had moved into his wheelchair freely. "Disappear! I needn't bother with a lady like you!" Raul hollered as he moved his wheelchair toward the entryway. Be that as it may, Lucia was quicker than him. She hurried to the entryway and impeded it with her arms spread wide. She was frantic not to allow this union with fall flat. Her dad was at this point to procure a benefit from the ten million euros given by the Martinez family. Lucia didn't have the foggiest idea how she might settle on Raul drop his choice. She needed to act rapidly, regardless of whether her activities appeared to be foolish. The lady brought down her head, folded her arms over Raul's body, and embraced him without a second thought. She was astounded to find that he was surprisingly strong. Raul froze briefly. "What's going on with you?" he snapped. "I need to remain," Lucia argued. Raul grunted. " Disappear! I couldn't care less about the cash your dad spent. It's simply a dime," he hollered. Lucia nearly let him go. In any case, she understood that the existence that looked for her after the unexpected finish of her marriage would be hard by the same token. Her folks would disdain her. They would consider her a futile little girl and a weight to the family. Besides, disgusting bits of gossip would torment her any place she went. The whole town would recollect her as an unfeeling lady who left her crippled spouse in the wake of expenditure all his cash. Lucia's choice to leave Raul would just make her a despicable and shameless widow. Regardless of her adversity, her significant other had added to saving her loved ones. "I need to remain close by as your better half. I will deal with you," Lucia murmured. The lady wanted to express it without stammering, however she was unable to help it. Her thinking and sentiments weren't in a state of harmony. "Nothing in this world is free. You should serve me right now consequently. What do you say?" Raul asked while pointing at the bed.
