Chapter 12Cillian made an effort to spend more time with the Monks of the ship. It was purely selfish, to ensure that as many of them as possible would vouch for him when they got back to Earth. He wanted to return home to his little house with Jack and Henri. The time he spent apart from them in Monk jail was torture, despite how cushy the accommodations were. So, he dealt with the hallucinations associated with them and, for the most part, pretended they weren’t there. He ignored the bright colors, the shifting eyes, and of course all the other ones that showed up periodically. Cillian tried to focus on socializing. In the medical center, he took Monk patients.
