Chapter 18By the time Jack returned with a smallish SUV, the group had walked Muhaimin, tended to their basic human needs, and packed up what little they owned. It was night, but that didn’t stop them. They checked out of the room and filed into the vehicle. On their way out of Milwaukee, they stopped to pick up some extra clothes and food. Cillian was munching on a greasy cheeseburger and some fries when the power went out in this part of the city, as well. “I think we need to leave,” he told the others.
