Chapter 19Around three in the afternoon, Cillian and the others started to wake up, largely due to hunger. They hadn’t eaten anything since the hospital. Though lunch had been served hours ago, the food was left out for anyone to reheat in the microwave. Pasta with cheese and meatless tomato sauce seemed to be the only option. Cillian offered to retrieve portions for everyone.
After eating in their room, Henri and Zoe went to walk Muhaimin. This gave Jack and Cillian a few precious moments together. They hadn’t been intimate since before leaving the ship, and while they would have to wait even longer, Jack wanted some attention. Simple kissing was all they had time for, but it would have to be enough. They kissed for about five minutes before Cillian heard Henri’s voice outside the room.
