Chapter 50

Alpha Derrick’s POV

The day has finally come. A years worth of work and investigation. Seven years of hope that revenge will finally be taken on those that killed my brother and his mate. Dark Hollow and the council have ruined this kingdom, and today we take it back.

“Good Morning fellow leaders, friends, allies and family. For those that do not know me, I am Derrick Royal, previous alpha of the Crystal Lake pack. I am here today to present you with the evidence that supports the existence of a s*x trafficking ring, participation in such despicable things by fellow pack leaders and corruption among the council. The information all intertwines, but I will present it as individual crimes, so some things may come across as duplicates. Alpha Xander and I have been working on this for almost a year, but a very special person to me actually started this process seven years ago. My brother David Royal was the alpha of Dark Hollow. He and his mate were murdered, but he provided me with information that supports our claims. I will start with that information.”

I bring down a large screen and nod to Xander. He dims the lights and a video comes up.

“Alpha’s I am going to play a video sent to me by my brother. There is a binder of the detailed information in front of you to review”

The video begins

Hey Derrick! If you are watching this, something has happened to me and Marcia. I hope Annalisa is with you and safe. Over the last couple of years, things have been occurring that have been concerning. I have no concrete evidence, just lots of circumstantial information. The new leader of the Elder Council is my first concern. He is new to the council but has been promoted to lead over others like Crawford who has been there longer. I recently had a visit from the King, and he also expressed concern about Peters. He said he questions his decisions and wants to control his coming and going. He was even the one who convinced Tyler to delay training Nicholas. Tyler plans to bring Nicholas home this summer. After this school year ends, he will be 16 and needs to start his training. This new guy, Peters has also fired Candace as Tyler's assistant. Now any correspondence to the king goes through the council. I know nothing solid, but I trust my gut and this guy gives me bad vibes. I think he is trying to take over. My second concern is my Beta. As you know, Clarence was not my choice for Beta, but he held the position when I mated with Marcia, and this was her family’s pack. I think he is trying to take back the position. The cordial relationship we used to have is now hostile. He finds reasons to argue about everything and he is secretive about his comings and goings. On the other USB there is a letter marked elder. This letter was intercepted by me, and it’s from Elder Peters to Clarence. He is supporting and financing a possible takeover of Dark Hollow by Clarence. I made Tyler aware and put cameras up around the pack that no one but me and Marcia know about. Again, I have no solid information, but I want to give you everything I do have. Love you big brother.

“Six months after this letter, Derrick's mate died and three months after that, Derrick was murdered and his pack taken by his Beta. I will now play a couple of videos to support my brother’s suspicions. These videos were obtained from the cameras my brother had installed around his pack. They are uploading to a server at an undisclosed location”

I skipped to the next slide, which is the video of a conversation between Peters and Clarence. There they both admit to helping each other get what they want. Clarence admits to Peters helping him get the rogues for the attack. He also admits to not being able to access Derrick’s accounts, so he will have to think of other business ventures to fund the pack's needs. Clarence helped Peters get the lead position on the Elder Council, but he never mentions how. He is requesting assistance from the rogues to help with his other problem. Another video is played of a conversation between Peters and Clarence about two years later where Clarence will supply rogues to attack the Kings' caravan. In payment, Clarence would not have to pay the elders their fee for a year. The next video I play is of Clarence murdering my brother and admitting to poisoning Marcia. There is also a conversation between Clarence and his beta where they murdered over 150 pack members who would not conform to his new leadership of Dark Hollow. We play a video of them making plans and talking to Mr. Smalls about kidnapping the girls. His conversations with other Alphas as he sells the girls off as product.

“I know that was a lot for everyone to watch. I wanted to pause for a minute. First, to give you a chance to digest what I have shown you. Next I will open the floor up to questions or comments. Before I do that, I would like to direct you to the second section of the binders you have been provided. There are ledgers of transactions with Alphas who have participated in the trafficking ring, along with bios of some of the women they have kidnapped. I plan to introduce you to some special women who have survived the atrocities of Dark Hollow after our quick Q&A”

“Alpha Derrick, where are you getting these videos from?”

“All of this is from the cameras around Dark Hollow that were installed by my brother before his death. We recently gained access to the server room where all the information is saved. I have spent the last month reviewing over eight years of information from over 60 cameras around Dark Hollow. These are the videos I pulled for this meeting. There is a lot more I can show you to support the claims Alpha Xander and I are bringing to you today”

“Is there any other proof that the Alphas on this ledger are truly involved? The last thing we want to do is go against an Alpha and it’s a mistake”

“Once this information was provided to us. I had elite warriors monitoring each of these packs, some have even been able to infiltrate the packs and get within their gates. I have testimony from my warriors, pictures of them being snuck into the pack on delivery day, and pictures of the girls in various capacities in each pack. For example; one pack made them breeders, another made them slaves and in one pack they are sold to members within the pack. You can see the pictures and testimonies in the last section of your binder” Xander states coming to the center of the stage

“Why exactly are we here? Is it to address Dark Hollow or the Elder Council?”

“Alpha Bruce, you are here to be made aware of the situation, but your action is needed in regard to the Elder Council. To remove Elders from the Council we either need a majority Alpha vote or The King. With the King not being actively involved with the Kingdom, we thought it best to get the Alphas vote. Every pack is represented except for the 21 packs involved in the trafficking ring. We have already started the process of eliminating the trafficking ring. But what to do with twenty packs once the Alpha and/or ranked members are found guilty of their crimes requires either an honest Elder Council, which we don’t have right now, or us as the majority coming to a conclusion. This is the reason for this meeting” I explain

“How do we know that these videos are not doctored or altered? A lot of your evidence is based on these videos”

“If we were able to show you the live feed would that answer that question for you, Alpha Craig?”

“Yes”

“Everyone, I would like you to meet Gordon. He is a member of Crystal Lake and the younger brother of our current Gamma. He is my IT guy, he has been helping comb through all the information on the server. I will hand the floor over to him for that proof”

“Good day Alpha’s. I have logged into the live feed on a couple of cameras around Dark Hollow. Please remember that the members of Dark Hollow are not aware of these cameras. This one is from Alpha’s office. The camera is aimed at the desk. If you look at the computer, it has today's date and time. All the camera feeds save at 12am and 12pm. To prove this is a live feed, I will pull the saved file from last night to show you the difference. If you look at the computer now, you will see the time difference. And while we have been doing that, you can see the time change on the live feed”

“There are actually two segments of video I would like to show you that occurred yesterday. Please give Gordon time to get to that specified time” I say

“Gordon now has the two office cameras up. The conversation I would like you to hear is from yesterday at 2pm in the office”

The video starts and it is Clarence and his Beta.

Clarence: Vance, have the other elders arrived?

Vance: Yes, they are resting in their rooms. They have all been told about the entertainment tonight.

Clarence: Are the girls ready? How many are there?

Vance: Yeah, they have been washed, and Doc Campbell will give them the cocktail around 6pm, and they will be brought to the room for 7pm. There are 6 of them.

Clarence: After tonight, we will give them a week to recover before they are delivered to their buyers. My plan is the day after Blake's birthday, just in case he doesn’t meet his mate, he can have one of the girls for his birthday. Add Tina to the list. I’m done with her. You can kill her mate right before she leaves.

“The next section I would like you to see is a conference room. Moving to 3pm on that camera, Gordon”

The video shows omegas moving the conference table and chairs out of the room and replacing them with sofas and sitting chairs. A rolling bar with alcohol and glasses are stocked along with a box of cigars.

“Now that same camera at 7pm, Gordon”

The camera shows six men, sitting around talking and smoking cigars

“Pause it there Gordon. This man, that Gordon has put the yellow circle around is Alpha Clarence. Before we continue, I would like King Nicholas to come and identify the other five men” I say

Nicholas comes up on stage and, with a laser pointer, identifies the other men

“The one with the blue circle is Elder Peters, red circle is Elder Lincoln, green circle is Elder Jacks, purple circle is Elder Edwards and white circle is Elder Rhanes. I would also like to remind everyone that all of these elders have mates” Nicholas says and walks off the stage

“Continue the video, Gordon” I instruct

The video shows men escorting seven women into the room. The women are drunk or drugged because they can’t stand on their own. The women are placed on the couches and chairs in the room.

Unknown voice: Are these the new girls, Clarence

Clarence: Yeah, they are your treat for the night, gentlemen, for all your help

Unknown voice: Nothing is free with you Clarence. What do you want?

Clarence: I don’t have to pay you for three months and one of the girls who got away is at Crystal Lake. She was pregnant when she escaped. The child is either mine or my sons, because we both f****d her

Unknown voice: She could have slept with someone else

Clarence: I took her virginity, and we were the only ones who had her before I put her with the other girls to sell. I want my child. You will approach Crystal Lake and get my son

Unknown voice: Why don’t you just kidnap him

Clarence: I have already tried three times. No luck. Now I’m asking you

Unknown voice: Fine. Now for some fun

The man identified as Elder Peters gets up and unbuckles his pants. He walks to one of the girls as he drops his pants. The girl starts crying and flaring her arms but doesn’t have the strength to fight him. He pushes her down on the couch and enters her. We watch similar actions with all the men in the room as they take the girls in different positions. All you hear is grunting, moaning and crying.

Growls and cursing can be heard from the Alphas in the room, gasping and crying from the Lunas.

“Stop the video, Gordon. Gentlemen, this went on for six hours before the men left. An hour or so later the Doctor came to check them, and they were removed from the room”

“Did they drug them?”

“I can answer that question” came a female voice from off stage
