Tessa’s POV

“I can answer that question” I say as I walk on stage

“Good day gentlemen, my name is Tessa Royal. I am the Luna of Crystal Lake and the mate of Thane Royal. I met my father-in-law when I escaped from Dark Hollow after being kidnapped”

“I was a rogue living in the human city with some of my pack members after our pack was destroyed by rogues. I am the daughter of Alpha Vaughn of the Brightstar pack. Around 20 pack members survived, and we all stayed together, living and working in the human town. On my way home from work one day, I was kidnapped by a rogue and taken to a club in another human town. I was there for a week in a room with other shewolves. We were then transported to a cabin on the border of Dark Hollow. I was there for three days before delivery day. There were around seven other shewolves there. While there, we were under constant supervision, even when we used the restroom and bathed. We were given one meal a day and our cocktail. The cocktail consists of wolfsbane, a sedative and birthcontrol. Section three of your binder has the breakdown of the drugs in our system when we got to Crystal Lake. Because they want us to be able to walk to and from the van on delivery day, they don’t give us the cocktail on delivery day. That day, myself, Lucia and Tori, fought the men who were to take us and we ran. The doctor believes that because I am the child of an Alpha, not having the drugs for that day allowed me enough strength to fight back. We ran to Crystal Lake. There we were cared for and I met my mate”

“Were the women sexually abused like we just saw in the video” an Alpha asked

“Yes, if you were not a virgin, any type of s*x was allowed, but you could not leave any scars. If the female was a virgin, then only oral was allowed, again no scars or marks were to be left. No one was allowed to touch us 24 hours before delivery day”

More growls and loud chatter is heard after Tessa’s testimony.

“One of the girls I escaped with is the girl Alpha Clarence tried to kidnap. She did not want to show her face here but was willing to do a video of her experience”

Gordon clicks on a video and an altered version of Lucia’s voice starts to play. She tells them about her parents being rogues and being part of the group that helped Clarence take over Dark Hollow with the promise of living in a pack again. She tells them that her parents are rogues because the Alpha wanted her mother as a mistress, even though he had a mate. When her parents found each other, the alpha was not happy, and they became rogues because he threatened them. They lived at Dark Hollow for almost seven years. When she turned 18, she was called to the Alpha’s office, there she was attacked, beaten and raped. This went on for weeks before they put her with the other girls to sell to another pack. She was lucky enough to be with Tessa, who fought the guards, and we ran to Crystal Lake. There I found out I was pregnant from my rapist. She talks about them trying to kidnap her and take her baby. But then finding her mate, becoming a family and going to school for nursing.

“Lucia and Tessa were lucky. We have also been able to ambush and save a few other women, but most of these women are living a nightmare, and we want to put an end to this” Xander says

“What do you want us to do, Alpha Xander? If we believe everything you have shown us, what is the next step?” Alpha Roy asks

“First the removal of the corrupt Elders and trial for their crimes. We then attack the packs that participated in these illegal actions. Vote in a new council; work with them and the king to change laws that protect our women from something like this happening again. We work with the council and king to decide what to do with the packs that participated in the trafficking ring” Alpha Derrick says

“What about Dark Hollow? And what steps have you already taken? Alpha David was a personal friend, along with King Trevor, I am offering my men to help with that issue” Alpha Mitchell asks

“With that question gentlemen, I would like to introduce you to Crane. One of my top elite warriors and the daughter of David and Marcia Royal” Xander says

With that Annalisa walks onto the stage
