Monstrous
Some people wonder why people are such monsters,
but it takes a monster to create one
someone had to have caused so much pain
and left a scar too deep
to the point where the innocence transformed into a scary monstrosity
To the point where they crave the crimson colored liquid that pours from another’s skin
The innocence they once had lost
The soul now as cold as ice
Until someone comes to melt it
Someone with their own pain, to understand and to heal
Someone to give their heart to
Someone to need them as much as they need the other
Someone to send warmth
Someone to eventually love or give their own version of it
Someone to give what they didn’t receive
Demons were once angels
Until they are corrupted with the suffering and pain need to
But in their own way angels are demons too
Monsters were once beautiful too
Some people wonder why people are such monsters,
But it takes a monster to create one
Someone had to have caused so much pain
And left a scar too deep
To the point where the innocence transformed into a scary monstrosity
Maybe the evil and monstrous
Is you
