Chapter 3-Mates

Seraphina freezes when she realises who her mate is. Fate has a cruel way of playing tricks on people, well thats what Seraphina thought

"No. No. This cannot be. Theres some mistake. Kaiden Black cannot be my mate" She thinks to herself. Panic and fear sets in

"Sephy, calm down, everything will be fine, he's our mate, he wont hurt us" says Sierra.

Seraphina starts to move backwards shaking her head. Her breathing becomes heavier as she starts to have a panic attack. Kaiden stares at her with no emotion on his face. He could see the panic look on her face and he knew from her eyes, what she really was. He notices that she starts to back away. "Don't you dare move!" He ordered her. Seraphina felt a tingle through her body when he spoke but she didnt stop, instead she ran. Everyone was looking at her. Her panic attack started to get worse, she felt the world closing in and she needed to get away, fast.

She ran to the one place she felt safe, to the people she felt safe. She went back home and mind linked Lily and Judith to meet her. Just as she got home she collapsed onto the floor and passed out.

When she awoke, She was laying on the sofa, her head was on Judith's lap and as she laid there, Judith was stroking her hair. "You silly child, you scared me half to death, passed out on the floor like that, it's a good job I came. Now you can tell what got you into that state. the last i saw you, you was off finding your mate?" Judith looked down at her. Seraphina sighed.

"My mate is Kaiden Black, the Alpha of the Bloodmoon pack. I started to have a panic attack and I ran. I left him standing on the stage with the rest of the pack" a tear starts to roll down her cheek "What am I going to do? He hates witches. This is a cruel joke by the moon goddess. Out of all the wolves she could have paired me, she pairs me with him"

Judith looks at her sadly "Theres something I need to tell you about your parents"

Seraphina frowns and sits up "What's my parents got to do with the crisis I'm having now?"

Judith places her hand on Seraphina's and told her the story about who her parents were and what happened the night she was born. Seraphina sat and listened. After Judith had finished talking Seraphina stood up and started to pace back and forth.

"So you're telling me that, My mates parents killed my father for being mated to a witch. Something a wolf has no control over and then to make matters worse, my mother killed his parents as revenge for killing my father and to save me and then....and then after she gave birth, she was killed by the Bloodmoon pack?" She says as the anger started to build up inside of her "And to top it all off i am now mated to the leader of that pack and its true luna..." She punches the wall hard.

"Sephy, you need to calm down. Being angry will make your first shifting experience very painful. You need to calm down as you can start to shift at any moment....Breath" Sierra says calmingly. Seraphina takes a deep breath and breaths out slowly.

Once she calmed down there was a knock on the door. Judith tells her to sit down on the sofa as she goes to answer the door.

"Alpha Jackson? what do I owe the pleasure to have you here" She bows her head to Alpha Jackson as he steps through the door. A tall man around the age of 22 walks in behind him. "Judith, Seraphina, this is Luke, the beta of the Bloodmoon pack, he's here to collect Seraphina and take her to the bloodmoon pack since she is Alpha Kaiden mate"

Seraphina flinched as he said the word 'Mate'. she stood up and stood behind judith "i am not going, i haven't accept him as my mate, neither do i want to. Why do I have to leave? Why can't he come here, Why is he not here himself?"

Luke stares down at her "The Alpha has gone back to our pack not long ago due to an emergency and You don't have a choice Mutt. My Alpha has request me to bring you back to my pack and that is what I'll do, you have two choices, you either come quietly or I throw you over my shoulders and carry you to the car"

Seraphina growled at him but she didnt want judith to worry about her so she gave judith a tight hug "I'll be home soon ok. Look after Lily for me" she moves past the Alpha and Beta and walks to the car. Luke opens the passenger side door and then walks round and get into the drivers side "Someone will bring your stuff over tomorrow" he says as he starts to drive away from her home. Seraphina looks at judith as she drives away with tears in her eyes...
