CHAPTER 31 After Thomas left, I debated on whether or not to venture out of the room. There was a tug inside of me that urged me to go find Jase, but I couldn’t bring myself to do it. I didn’t want to look at him, lying there unconscious in a bed somewhere. He was too full of life, too vibrant and joyful to be forced into darkness as I had been so much over the past few weeks.
