Chapter 38
My eyes were trying to open as consciousness returned to me sometime later, but my hazy mind was really only able to focus on the excruciating pain that was now radiating from the back of my neck. My head was dropped forward, my body still upright but slightly slumped as I tried to wake up to the nightmare. Apparently I’d been sleeping like this, my hands still tied to the metal chair from before.
I could feel that the skin on my neck had been filleted open, the slow trickle of blood making me nauseous as it oozed down my spine before slowly dripping onto the floor below.
I wanted to scream in agony but something unknown kept my senses and movements locked down for the most part.
