Chapter 2

"Out of all the schools in the state, it had to be my old school's rival school, Lincoln High?! Do you want your daughter to die, is that it? Because there's an easier way for that to happen like jumping off a bridge---"   "What are you blabbing on about?" My mom rolled her eyes.   I have her sky-blue eyes but other than that, I look nothing like her. She's a brunette, I'm a blonde with thick, dark eyebrows. She's small, I'm 5'8". I probably took after my dad whom I didn't get to meet.   She says my model-like figure is such a waste because of the constant bruises that I get from fist-fighting. I don't get any bruises anymore though. I didn't gain my nickname, 'The Untouchable' for nothing.   "Lincoln High is where your brothers go to school so it's only natural for you to go there."   "You can't make me." I have a lot of enemies in there!   "You already gave me your word, missy. You don't want anything to happen to any of your precious baseball caps now, do you?" She reminded me of her threat.   "That's getting a little old."   "You don't think I'm serious? Check inside the trash can." She dared.   "Oh no you didn't..." I quickly dashed beside the can to check and true enough, my beautiful red cap was just lying there like a piece of garbage!   "Oh my God." I got teary-eyed as I tightly clutched the red cap against my chest.   Little did I know, Malcolm happened to pass by my room and he was just looking straight at me with a super 'judgy' look.   How dare he judge me for my love of caps! He is SO going to get it one of these days...   ******   Come what Monday, I couldn't believe that I was actually stepping foot inside the enemy's territory, Lincoln High.   I feel like such a traitor for some reason.   I thought of a perfect disguise for my enemies to not be able to recognize me right away.   I wore nerdy-looking glasses.   "See you later, sis! Good luck with your first day." Landon began to walk away with Malcolm.   "Wait, aren't you going to give me a tour of such an unfamiliar place?!" I called after him.   "Nope! You're on your own." Landon replied.   Wow, what good brothers they are... I can feel the love alright.   I've always wanted an older brother but Malcolm doesn't even give a f**k about me.   ******   "Class, we have a new student with us today. Please introduce yourself." The teacher told me.   "I'm Erin." I said with a poker face on.   "Okay, is there anything else you'd like to add?" The teacher made eye contact with me and I just shook my head as a response.   "You can take your seat over there next to Jace." The teacher pointed at an empty seat somewhere in the middle of the classroom.   "Hi." The blonde jock beside me nodded in my direction.   I only glared back at him without uttering a word.   "You don't talk much, do you?" I could feel his gaze scrutinizing me from head to foot.   'And you're just desperate for attention, aren't you?' I wanted to say.   'Self-control, Erin. Self-control.' I bit my tongue until I could taste blood in my mouth.   Damn, this guy's annoying.   "Hey, you look pretty smart. Think you could do my homework for me? And what's with the boy clothes?" The guy named 'Jace' continued to bother me.   What an asshole. If I could only bury my fist into his pretty face, life would be sweet.   "I'm just kidding, new kid. Ease up a bit." He chuckled and was about to pat my shoulder when someone blocked him from doing so by walking right in the middle of the aisle.   "Hello there, Kramer." A familiar voice said as he placed a hand on my shoulder.
