Chapter 6: French Appreciation The trip to France itself was uneventful, though there had been some stress as they packed up their room and Troy triple checked that they hadn’t forgotten anything while Adrian promised they had all of it and they really needed to catch their train. Going through the Chunnel was odd in and of itself, to think that they were being carried underneath the water. It was almost enough to make Troy nervous, but he knew it was as safe as it could be, and this thirty-minute train was much better than a ninety-minute ferry. There was one more train ride after they reached France and then when they arrived in a sleepy French village, a gray-haired man was waiting for them. “I am Henri,” he greeted them with a smile and a thick accent. “You must be Adrian and Troy.”
