Chapter 6 While we ate, Sinda told us more about her world or, as she called it, “the city.” I learned early on that she didn’t like to be interrupted. Whether it was because she didn’t know the answers to everything we asked, or because she didn’t feel it necessary to answer our questions in the first place, I wasn’t sure. But whenever Kyer or I asked something, we got a snarky response. It was best to just let her tell us what she wanted to tell us, and hopefully figure out what she meant by the way she spoke.
