Riley – POV “Zac… my parents... and… me.” The scroll slipped from my fingers and hit the ground. My legs gave out beneath me, but Zac was there, catching me before I collapsed completely. He helped me over to the couch as I struggled to breathe. “Relax, Riley… here, take this.” He handed me something to eat, but my vision was still blurry. After a moment, my sight began to clear, and I found myself looking at Zac. He was sitting beside me, frowning with concern. My breathing slowly calmed down. Finally, I turned to face him, realizing he had already read the letter. He hugged me, and somehow, that made it easier to relax.
