The Rake

Privy Night club, Mumbai. 9 pm. The sound was as hard as rock. The men were as cool as ice. The women were as hot as fire. And there were two guys gulping shots and looking lazily at the surroundings. "Manik man! Life is so boring dude!" Cabir wiggled and gulped another glass down. "That's because you are in love duh!" Manik taunted and looked down at the tiles. "Oh please man! My baby doesn't make my life boring! She colours it man!" Cabir said,praising his girlfriend, Navya Kapoor. He was about to speak when a girl with least fabric on her skin came around Manik and caressed her manly jawline with her slim finger. "So, handsome! What's up?" Manik smirked and moved his hand around her waist "Nothing, hotness!" She leaned forward and whispered "Dance?" "Not interested!" He winked. "Then what are you interested in?" She said in a rather flirtatious tone. "Something else!" He wanted more of flirt. "Burning calories?" She leaned forward to which he pushed her slightly "Nah, not my type!" And she rolled her eyes and walked away. "Could have experience your first kiss man!" Cabir said as a matter of fact. "When in my first relationship me I didn't, that means it's reserved for someone special" He winked to which Cabir smiled. "And when will this special someone come?" Cabir walked away with him, asking. "Urm- god knows!" Manik walked out of the club and both of them heard the sound of a flight, probably landing in the Mumbai airport. Manik leaned on his car's bonnet while Cabir too moved beside him "Maybe she's coming to me through this flight!" And Cabir couldn't stop his laugh. Both laughed and hi-fied each other. "By the way, where is it coming from?" Manik asked to which Cabir saw the time "Mangalore-Mumbai!" "Mangalore!" He whispered and a smile surrounded his pink lips, without him knowing. "How do you know?" He asked moving in his car while Cabir sat over the passenger seat "Navya is coming na, from Mangalore! So maybe she's in this flight!" Manik hummed and ignited his engine and Cabir started the FM. ABC Airlines. "Navya! You study in a college over here?" Nandini asked looking out of the window, at the city of dreams- Mumbai. "Yeah, SPACE!" Navya, who befriended the darling soul just in some hours. "Oh wow! Even my admission is going to happen there!" Nandini chirrped excitedly making Navya excited too "Oh wow! I will be glad if that happens!" "We are landing soon" The airhostress spoke over the mike to which Navya said "I hope to see you soon girl!" "Me too!" Nandini and Navya shared a hug and walked down the stairs after the airpl ane landed. Both bid to each other and moved away.
