*City:* Los Angeles
*School:* Wilson's Royal College (WRC)
The excited screams of students echoed loudly as a sleek black limousine pulled into the school grounds.
"OMG, it's K2R!" a girl shouted.
"They look so handsome!"
"Rhett, please date me!"
The crowd's cheers didn't stop as the chauffeur opened the car door. Inside sat the famous K2R-the most popular modeling group and idols in all of LA. Their group name came from the first letters of their names: Ryan, Rhett, Kayden, and Kai-hence K2R. They formed the group back in high school, skyrocketing to fame ever since.
"Has anyone noticed Ryan changed his hair color to blue?" a student called out as Ryan stepped out first.
"He looks even more handsome now."
"I love you!"
"Please, date me!"
Ryan ignored the fans, but another voice broke through, "Look at Kai's dimples!" Kai followed Ryan out, then Kayden came next.
"Kayden, be mine!"
"Wow, look at their lips!"
Rhett was last to step out. With a mischievous wink, he made nearly six girls faint in a row. Known for his flirtatious charm, Rhett and Kai were the ultimate heartthrobs among the girls.
"Someone kill me, please!" one girl cried.
"Omo, I can't believe this!"
"They're so hot!"
"Was that wink for me?" She giggles.
Kayden threw his signature bad-boy glare, leaving everyone breathless. His stunning looks made him unforgettable. Ryan kept a cold, mysterious expression, hands buried in his pockets, giving off serious bad-boy vibes. Yet, even with that icy look, he was irresistibly handsome.
Kai chewed gum lazily, his blonde hair and sparkling earrings making him look almost feminine. The lip ring added to his edgy, captivating style.
"Ryan looks even more handsome."
"I love them all."
"Kai, be mine!"
"Ryan, I love you!"
The crowd's cheers rose as the boys were escorted to their private classroom by their bodyguards.
---
Rhett and Ryan were identical twins-so alike that only those closest to them could tell them apart. Rhett's eyes were a deeper shade of blue, while Ryan's sparkled like crystal. Their expressions were another key to distinguishing them: Rhett was more bubbly and lighthearted, rarely showing sadness, always quick with a joke and a smile. Their father was one of the wealthiest men in Los Angeles, owning several companies across multiple countries. Everyone knew the Wyatt Corporation-the leading billionaire enterprise in LA, consistently topping the charts of the richest companies.
Then there was Kayden Torres, the rumored illegitimate son of the President of Los Angeles. His mother died giving birth to him, and as a result, he was never truly accepted by the family. His elder sibling often clashed with him, and though his father recognized him as his son, Kayden was only ever seen as the President's second son. Unlike Ryan, Kayden was known for his ability to control his emotions and was regarded as the friendliest member of the group-always sincere and with a sharp sense of humor.
Finally, there was Kai Wilson. His father, Royal Wilson, ranked as the third richest billionaire in LA, just behind the Sanchez Corporation and the Wyatt Corporation. Royal owned various private enterprises, including entertainment companies and the second-largest hotel in the city-the Wilson's Royal Hotel (WRH). The WRH was the crown jewel of the Wilson family, along with Wilson's Royal High (WRH) and Wilson's Royal College (WRC), a prestigious private university that was the dream school for many.
It wasn't just any school-the name "Royal" symbolized the elite status of its students, who came from the richest families, both locally and internationally. The school was a haven exclusively for the wealthy, where the rich were considered the "Royals," living a life many only dreamed of.
---
The college accepted only three scholarship students every two years-and even those had to pass a notoriously difficult and tricky entrance exam. This made it nearly impossible for anyone from a poor background to gain admission. Only the luckiest few made it in, but even then, they were often seen as outcasts and frequently bullied by the wealthy students.
*K2R ONLY*
Boldly displayed above the door was the sign "K2R ONLY." The building itself was massive, one of the largest on campus. It served as their private dormitory, separate from the rest of the students. Unlike typical hostels, this building also housed their classrooms, where they received lectures directly. Inside, there were four individual rooms-one for each member-along with a spacious common lounge and a fully equipped kitchen.
Behind the building was a private swimming pool, exclusively for K2R's use. While the rest of the students had access to the school's main pool, this one was reserved solely for them.
---
Ryan stood by the window, hands tucked into his pockets, savoring the stunning view of the school from his favorite spot. Even his mere presence could make anyone's heart skip a beat. The sunlight kissed his face, making him look even more irresistible.
Kayden broke the silence, "I just got a message from JJ. He said we have a photoshoot at 4 PM."
Rhett groaned, clearly unenthusiastic. "Seriously? After spending all day shooting for that brand yesterday, now we have another one?"
"We have practice before the shoot," Kayden reminded them.
Kai added, "Yeah, we should tell Mr. Jenkins to postpone it."
Jimmy Jenkins-JJ as everyone called him-was their well-known manager. He was infamous for pushing the group into shoots they weren't thrilled about, often causing frustration. Besides managing K2R, he also acted as their personal assistant. With his sharp looks, many mistook him for a model himself. He was definitely one of the most charming managers in the industry.
Kayden shook his head, "You know we can't postpone it. We just have to practice now, then get ready for the shoot. You know how JJ is."
Ryan frowned, remembering the long hours they'd spent last time.
"Tell him we're postponing," Ryan said firmly.
Kayden nodded and quickly typed out a message to JJ. "Done," he said, dropping his phone.
Kai exclaimed, "What? No way!"
"Shhh," Kayden hushed him.
Rhett chuckled and raised his fingers, counting down, "1...2...3... he'll call any second now.
Just as Rhett predicted, the phone began ringing. He looked at them with a smug grin, saying, "Told you."
*Ring! Ring!*
Kayden answered and immediately put the call on speaker so everyone could hear.
📞 "What do you mean by 'postpone'? Do you want my handsome face to turn grey because of you? You better get your butts here before 4 PM, or I'll personally come after you!" JJ shouted before hanging up, not waiting for their response.
Kayden quickly pulled the phone away from his ear, making Rhett chuckle. Everyone knew one thing for sure-JJ cared deeply about his looks. His handsome face was his pride and joy.
Kai turned to Ryan, trying to provoke him. "Hey dude, what's up? Why aren't you saying anything?"
But Ryan ignored them all and walked out of the classroom straight to his room. He didn't seem interested in their conversation at all.
"We're going for the shoot, right? Or are we not going?" Kai shouted after him, then looked at Rhett. "Is he okay? What's up with him?"
"I don't know. Maybe you should ask him yourself-weren't you just trying to before?" Rhett replied, rolling his eyes.
Kai faced Rhett, ready to argue. He had found his next target to provoke. "You were there when I asked him, weren't you?"
Rhett didn't bother responding. Instead, he buried his face in his phone and started scrolling. He knew that if he answered, he'd probably say more than he wanted-Kai was his next prey.
"Hey!!!" Kai shouted, throwing a crumpled paper roll at Rhett.
Annoyed, Rhett dropped his phone. "What? What?"
"I was talking to you just now," Kai said, clearly upset at being ignored.
"How am I supposed to know what's wrong with him?" Rhett chuckled, amused by Kai's frustration.
Kai smirked. "How dare you smile when I'm right in front of you? You don't smile when your big bro talks."
"What?! Big br...bro? Who? You?" Rhett replied, pointing at Kai with a disgusted look.
"Come here, you fool," Rhett said before chasing after Kai, who immediately bolted to his room as soon as he saw him coming.
"Hey! Open this door before I break it!" Rhett shouted, banging on the door.
Kayden couldn't help but laugh at their childish antics.
"Idiots," he muttered.
Kayden was the eldest at 22, while Rhett and Ryan were 20, and Kai was the youngest at 19.

*The Walkers (Ava Walker's Room)*
Walking alone along the quiet street, there he was again. My mouth hung open, unable to close. Oh my God, how could someone be this handsome and charming? His smile alone sent a swarm of butterflies fluttering in my stomach.
I didn't even notice when he reached out, grabbing my hand and pulling me closer, his other hand resting gently on my tiny waist. He didn't wait for me to get a better look at his face before leaning in closer, and then... then...
