Chapter 12 Emma Jane's thoughts were turbulent. The day had gone well, in fact, far better than she’d anticipated. Not only had they discovered something dark in the small town within moments after arriving, but the possessors of said strange darkness had invited them to lunch and given them advice on the best places to visit, as well as what to avoid. It was the advice on what to avoid which Emma Jane had paid particular attention to. When the subject you were hunting tried to deflect or make something seem unappealing, Emma Jane had almost always found that was the direction you needed to look.
